I have been trying to download a ringtone that I just purchased from iTunes, but it will not download. It keeps saying "Download error. Tap to retry." And everytime I press "retry," it is saying "UNABLE TO DOWNLOAD RINGTONE" I just did the 7.0.2 update.
Does anyone have any idea how to fix this issue? Yes, I have tried restarting my phone and iTunes and nothing seems to be working...
I venture to say you have a Windows PC.
If so, before beginning the download try temporarily disabling your antivirus, anti-adware, anti-spyware, and any other anti-whatever that is required with the insecure OS your computer is running.

I was refering to the "sample rate", normally 44.1 KHz, the iPod might not be able to play tracks with a non-standard rate. Otherwise I'm not sure what the issue might be.

The iTunes Store will direct you to the same article. As Hackintosh said, first delete the track from iTunes, allowing it to move the track file to the trash. Then in iTunes on your Mac, sign into your iTunes Store account and go here:
In the window you'll be taken to, make sure that the Music tab and "not on this computer" are selected, then locate the defective track in the list and click this button next to the track name:

My iPod Touch will not function with certain updated apps ie MindTools, YP.com, Mint, Ymessenger etc and I get the error message that I need to install updated software to load these apps to my iPod Touch; however, I have double checked and all the software updates have been loaded in obht the iPod touch and my computer. There are no updates availabe; yet the error message on App is a software update is required for App. "was not installed because it requires a newer version of iPod software."
The iPod Touch is using 3.1.3 software and it tells me that is the current and updated software version.You are correct in that your 1G iPod Touch has all the latest software updates. It can only be updated to version 3.1.
However that Apps you are trying to download and install likely require iOS version 4.0 or later, which is not compatible with your iPod Touch. So either you'll need to buy a newer iPod Touch or find other Apps that are suitable replacements if possible.

I have tried to shut off the DEP for the program but it is not allowed. I can't get to any of my music on my computer because of this. I use windows vista and was able to use ITunes until the upgrade to 10.2. now i can't even open the program and it is getting me very upset. Please someone help me.

That suggests that another application has stashed old QuickTime componentry in your system files.
So just in case we'll go looking for older QuickTime componentry in the most common locations for it to be stashed.
First we'll need to change some view settings.
In your Start menu, open Computer.
In your Organise menu, select Folder Options.
In the View tab, make sure that "Show hidden files and folders" is selected, and Hide extensions for known file types is unchecked.
Click OK.
Now in Computer, open your C:\ drive (or whichever drive you have your operating system installed on).
Open the "Windows" folder.
If you have a 32-bit version of Windows, open the "System32" folder.
If you have a 64-bit version of Windows, open the "SysWOW64" folder.
What files and folders can you see in there with QuickTime in the title? (In a standard installation of Quicktime you should be seeing precisely two files... QuickTime.qts and QuickTimeVR.qtx ... and no QuickTime folders whatsoever.) -

I received a new IPOD nano for CHristmas. Itunes shows it there on summary, it is showing with the eject symbol.
However, when I go to file/sync, it allows me to transfer purchases but not sync it. It also does not show up in my playlist like my older NANO does.
I have reset, I have toggled security on and off. I am current on the software on both my IPOD and ITunes.I was having the same problem...plugged in my new device and although I was able to set it up and it was recognized in iTunes, hit the sync button and nothing...even when it said it was syncing, still nothing. I am not sure this will work for you but I did two things that were suggested in this forum in combination with one another.
First, I plugged my Nano into different USB port on my laptop from the one I was using. when I reconnected, my devie again was displayed in the top right corner. I clicked on it and the summary page appeared. The one thing I hadn't done is go to the "music" tab. When I arrived there I found that the "sync music" tab was unchecked for some reason. I checked the block and instantly the download started.
As I said, I don't know if you have tried this or if it will even work for you but after an hour of frustration...I felt a little silly that it was something so simple I had negelected and thought I would share.

i have a canon 70d and just purchased elements 12. It will not open a raw file for me. I have been advised to download the latest version of camera raw, i have done this and it still says my camera is not supported. I really need to open my raw files. Can anybody help me.
You'll need to update to at least ACR 8.2 for the 70D to be recognized. The normal way to update PSE12 to the latest CR is to use Help / Updates in the Editor which should update to ACR 8.5.
According to Adobe's website PSE12 shipped with ACR 8.1 and you say it says yours is reported as ACR 8.0.
Are you using PSE 11 and not 12? PSE 11's maximum ACR version is 8.0. -
i have just purchased elements 12. It will not convert a raw file for me. i have downloaded DNG convertor 8.5 but it says that my Canon 70d is not compatible. I never had a problem with my last camera canon 7d and elments 8. Can someone help me please
Did you buy PSE in the mac app store? If not, just go to Help>Updates in the editor and update camera raw and you should be able to open the raw files in PSE 12 directly without the DNG converter.
