I couldnt even contact adobe direct to address the issue.
If you registered with Adobe, your authorization number will be in your account on Adobe's website. Then you can use their downloads page and download CS5 and install it. A search on their main page will get you to the download page.

If you really want your contact back and you did not do another iCloud backap since you deleted some of your contacts, you can do a hard reboot on both devices with iClouded contacts by holding down the home and lock buttons on each of them for 10 seconds ignoring the slide to turn off thing. Make sure you have iCloud contact services off before doing so. You can then go through the whole set up process until you get up to the backup part. You then press to restore from an iCloud backup (make sure you choose the right backup for the right phone). If you didn't make an iCloud backup before the contact incident, you will have to use your two-month-old iTunes backups. Each phone should have their contacts the way they were from your last backup. You then go into Settings>iCloud>and turn off contacts. You then can choose if you want to keep your current contacts or not. Turn this off on both phones just incase you add another iCloud device to the mix later on. Now your contact lists are no longer linked (Caution: side effect may include lack of edit button). You may now add and delete contacts as you please without it happening on your other phone.

You can not install anything but the current version of iOS. If you have a 3Gs, then you can install 6.0.1 by plugging it into your computer running iTunes (10.7 or higher). If you have a 3G, 4.2.1 is the end of the line.

Could the f0llowing be your problem with updating to 4.3.5. The part about the Hosts file.

For steps to edit the Hosts file and allow iTunes to communicate with the update server, see iTunes: Troubleshooting iTunes Store on your computer, iPhone, iPad, or iPod; follow steps under the heading Blocked by configuration (Mac OS X / Windows) > Rebuild network information > The hosts file may also be blocking the iTunes Store. Also, using an older or modified .ipsw file can cause this error. Try restoring moving the current .ipsw file aside, or try restoring in a new user to ensure that iTunes downloads a new .ipsw. -
Need to know how to get it back to its original Download Stack. Previous answers to this questionin Apple Support just don't make any sense to me. I'd appreciate explicit directions on how to restore this feature. Currently it's just a Download folder... must have accidently poofed it away.
Help!And if what WZZZ suggests doesn't work (and hopefully it will) move the file name below to the desktop, log out or restart and the Dock preferences with its defaults should be recreated. You'll need to re-configure it as you like it:
com.apple.dock.plist
It's located: in Finder hold the Alt/Option key and from the Go menu select Library>Preferences.
If it fixes things, delete the file on your desktop. -

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

The problem report needs to be resolved or it wont go away. Read the manual, call Dell,
try apologizing to it and that you'll never never do it again, what ever it takes!

You need to press command-R (at the sound of the chime) to get into recovery, try that, if it does not work try command-option-R for Internet Recovery. -
