I have money on my iTunes account. I cannot purchase premiums for the games I play! Especially the Hobbit Middle Earth game. I get an error message saying there is a problem connecting to my iTunes account. I have changed my password and still cannot use the account. I purchase my iTunes and App cards at Food Lion and Walmart and don't use a credit card. Can anyone help?

Try loging out of and back into your AppleId: (Settings app > iTunes&App Stores > [tap on your account] > Sign out. Then sign back in.

I noticed this week an exclamation mark on the time machine icon on the menu bar.
My Macbook, iPad and iPhone all connect to the network but i get "there was a problem connecting to the server..."
When I open the preferences the time capsule is off but turnign it back on sends me in a loop of selecting the Time Capsule device (which has a nice green light etc) and then getting the error messgae about being unable to connect. I also noticed that when I go to finder I see two MacBook Air's that are in my name but have the number (2) and (3) next to the name.
That is a well known bug in Yosemite.
Try open System Preferences (gear icon on the dock)
Open Sharing
Edit back to the correct name for your Mac

The Mac's name may stay stable....or you may see (2), (3), etc again soon.
Be sure to restart both your Mac and the Time Capsule after you do this.

I should have explored other threads before writing this, as I found the answer elsewhere. Turns out, the folder I was saving the podcasts to had been changed to 'read only'. Changed to 'read and write' and podcasts download successfully now. I'm not sure how that changed during the upgrade, but no matter, I'm back at it now.

I could use \Firefox ok but all of a sudden i can no longer use it. I get a message saying there is a problem connecting and although i am connected to the internet and can use other browsers, i cannot use firefox. It is allowed through my firewall.

i think i may have caused this wheni inadvertently pressed upgrade when i had an internet explorer message appear.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

I just encountered the same problem on my 2 month old MBPro. I found a work around by changing USB ports. As for the actual cause or the reason why that worked, I dont know. The USB port I was using works fine with my phone or other USB devices.

try to log in using webmail. if you can't do that, then issue is solved.

When I try to read Yahoo mail on Mozilla, I keep getting sent back to the "type in password" page and I can't get into my mail.

I can open Yahoo mail in Explorer but I prefer Firefox. I can get into one of my e-mail accounts on web server but when I click onto another account, I keep getting tossed back to type in password on and on... and not able to get into my accounts.

Never mind I fixed it. Just in case anyone else has this problem, after you reinstall iTunes you have to delete all your old music, and if you have iTunes match all the songs you have saved on itunes match will display and you just have to download them to your Macbook.
