My existing account is linked to ireland as my bank account details are there, does this make a difference?

Until you get a UK bank account and credit card, buy and redeem UK iTunes gift cards for use in the iTunes and Mac App Stores. But you need to switch your region/country to the UK store in your account information, as you can't use UK iTunes gift cards in the Irish stores, the gift cards are country specific.

I have an iPhone and recently bought an iPod 4 touch what l am using the same apple ID for. The iPod won't let me download songs from iTunes it is asking me security questions which I don't think I have put answers to in the first place, because of this it won't let me buy any songs on iTunes
It's probably asking you to verify the security code found on the back of your credit card.

I have recently had my MacBook Pro and iPad stolen so I have bought a new iPad, since syncing to my existing Apple ID account I keep getting another Apple ID popping up asking for the password. Does this mean that the owner of this appe ID have my stuff?
You should change your AppleID password NOW. And if it says it was registered under another AppleID, the thief has probably done it.

If it's not accepting your answers, then if you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) on your account then steps 1 to 5 half-way down this page will give you a reset link on your account : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer your questions) then you will need to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699
When they've been reset (and if you don't already have a rescue email address) you can then use the steps half-way down the HT5312 link above to add a rescue email address for potential future use -
I just got an Itunes giftcard and scratched off to get the code and thought I had redeemed it but went to get songs and it takes me back to the redeemed part and it says it is already redeemed but I can't buy the songs weird! help!

These are two possible approaches that will normally work to move an existing library to a new computer.
Method 1
Backup the library with this User Tip.
Deauthorize the old computer if you no longer want to access protected content on it.
Restore the backup to your new computer using the same tool used to back it up.
Keep your backup up-to-date in future.
Method 2
Connect the two computers to the same network. Share your <User's Music> folder from the old computer and copy the entire iTunes library folder into the <User's Music> folder on the new one. Again, deauthorize the old computer if no longer required.
Both methods should give the new computer a working clone of the library that was on the old one. As far as iTunes is concerned this is still the "home" library for your devices so you shouldn't have any issues with iTunes wanting to erase and reload.
I'd recommend method 1 since it establishes an ongoing backup for your library.
Note if you have iOS devices and haven't moved your contacts and calendar items across then you should create one dummy entry of each in your new profile and iTunes should merge the existing data from the device.
If your media folder has been split out from the main iTunes folder you may need to do some preparatory work to make it easier to move. See make a split library portable.
Should you be in the unfortunate position where you are no longer able to access your original library or a backup then then seeRecover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device for advice on how to set up your devices with a new library with the maximum preservation of data.

You can't have content in iCloud without having it on your phone, you will need to look at deleting items from your device that you don't need. Movies and TV shows from iTunes are possibly a good start because they tend to be large and can be redownloaded at a later date.

I moved my music from the c drive to the d drive. All of my music is in itunes but my ipod won't sync with itunes. The syncing process is taking much longer than usual too. I left my ipod over night to sync and it didnt finish. Fails to sync every time. I tried to restore my ipod and it didnt help.

For me to be able to transfer messages, fotos, contacts etc from the iphone 3 to 5 do I have to be using the same Apple ID account? Many thanks.You should only use one Apple ID for both phones. All apps that you bought for your 3 are linked forever to the Apple ID used to buy them. If you set up your iPhone 5 as a new phone, rather than restoring from a backup of the 3, you will lose the messages, but you can sync to get the pix, contacts and music. It is safer to do it as a new phone, because sometimes restoring a backup from an earlier version of the phone can cause problems in the new phone (as told to me by an Apple store "genius" two days ago.)
