I have over 3 GB left to use on my iphone and I'm trying to download a game that's only 1.68 GB and it says I don't have enough space
I have tried many things to try to get it to work including deleting almost all of my apps! And it would great if someone could help me out in downloading this app.
Most apps if not all are compressed. You need 3 to 4 times the space to expand and install plus your iPhone core functions also need space work.
You need at least 10% space of your total capacity to have a smooth experience.

Contact your carrier & have them reset your Voicemail. Most carriers require such, so after they reset it, just set it up again.

I'm not 100% sure of how this works - but it works something like this -You typically need twice the amount of space required and maybe even more to allow the download to "expand" when it completes. Like on a computer, the download size is smaller than what the finished size of the app will eventually be, so even though the download is only 300 MB, it may expand to a size that exceeds what space you have left.

When I try dragging the firefox icon intot he applications folder it says I already have one in there and do I want to replace it I say yes, but then it says "The operation can't be completed because I don't have permission to access some of the items."

Trying To Download A Game That Is 1.1GB I Have 2.5GB Available?
Yeah Im trying to download modern combat 3 and its apparently 1.1GB i have deleted a shed load of things to free up 2.5GB but still can't download it because there is not enough space available?? How does that work I have more than double the space needed? It doesnt make any sense. It has been doing this for a while but now I've kinda reached the end of my rope
Fact is, apps like that require at least twice their installed space to install. You also have to have enough free space for the phone's iOS to operate. I suspect you won't be able to install this app unless you have at least 3GB's of free space. You'll get the space back once the app is installed, but you're gonna have to free up more if you want to install it.

I've heard of bootcamp to run with windows when download programs as such but I don't have a windows installation disc and don't know which one to buy so please help.

I tried to download Lightroom CC yesterday and got the icon but when I tried to open it up nothing happened. Does that mean that I do not have Lightroom covered in my Photo Plan?
If your iPad is running iOS 5 or higher, iCloud would be listed in Settings. If you are signed into an iCloud account your iCloud ID would be listed in Settings>iCloud.

The message means that you should download it on your computer's iTunes and then sync it to the iPad. The message quite often appears if you are currently on 3G/4G on the iPad and the app (and it applies to other content as well) is over the maximum size allowed over cellular, which is currently 50 meg.

Firstly, please turn off your Caps lock. It is considered shouting in forums.
Secondly, please explain your exact issue and wheteher or not you can see your purchase in the App Store and if you are using the same Apple ID to reinstall it with as you used to purcase it with.

how do you remove back up data from the memory storage? my storage data states that i have over 80gb of data used for back ups and i dont know why as i use a external hard drive as a time machine .now my 250gb flash storage is nearly full.. HELP!
When Time Machine backs up a portable Mac, some of the free space will be used to make local snapshots, which are backup copies of recently deleted files. The space occupied by local snapshots is reported as available by the Finder, and should be considered as such. In the Storage display of System Information, local snapshots are shown as Backups. The snapshots are automatically deleted when they expire or when free space falls below a certain level. You ordinarily don't need to, and should not, delete local snapshots yourself. If you followed bad advice to disable local snapshots by running a shell command, you may have ended up with a lot of data in the Other category. Ask for instructions in that case.

I have an ipad and iphone sharing icloud. The ipad is using 268mb, the iphone 2.6. My plan is 5gb but it keeps saying I don't have enough space to back them up. How is this possible?

I have over $25 left in my i-tunes account from i-tunes gift cards. However the system keeps trying to bill a credit card rather than accessing the gift card balance first. Anyone have a similar problem or have some advice?
Either you're trying to gift content, or the iTunes Store servers are checking the validity of your account, or there's a problem on Apple's end.

Most apps require more than double the size of the app available in order for installation.

Error- Says I don't have enough disk space on external but I do??
Hello all,
Anyone know why I'm getting an error message saying I don't have enough disk space on an external drive when there is over 400 gigs of space available?
I am copying video files over to the drive from another external drive and the files total about 30 gigs...
I've seen other people have this prob but can't remember the fix.
I have only 70 gigs available on my computer HD but don't see how that is a factor.

AlThat isn't the problem. When I start the download of Mavericks I have more than enough space on the disk drive. However, once it has downloaded and it is attempting to install this error occurs:
Any ideas where I could re-download FindReaperFiles? From what I can see it's an Apple file but I can't find a download on their site at all.
