I have just aquired my husbands iphone 4 but when i send an email it still comes up with his name as the sender even though i have changed the hotmail id etc

I said that rather confusing.
He has a 25 dollar balance in credit due to a gift card we redeemed.
He purchased something in an app he got and it did not seem to deduct it from his
available credits.
basically i want to make sure the credits will be used before my card was ever charged for anything.
does the app store use available credits before resorting to the credit card on file?

Delete both apps using this utility > Download AppCleaner for Mac - Uninstall your apps easily. MacUpdate.com
That will delete the apps and all associated files.
Then re download the apps. That will download the most recent version updates included.
How to re download apps from the Mac App Store:
Open the App Store. From the menu bar click Store > Sign In
Click Purchases from the top of the App Store window.
Select which apps you want to re download. Then right or control click where you see Installed then click Install.
Make sure and use the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

I removed Yahoo Search and in Tools Option I changed it to Blank Page at Startup but When I reboot my computer I get YAHOO as my StartUp page in Firefox even though Options still says Blank Page.

I added Yahoo Search when I installed a program, but later removed it from Firefox Add-ons, but it still comes up as my Firefox start Page even though Tools Options states that I want a Blank Start Page.
When I go to Tools Options and change nothing (since it still reads Blank Page) and press OK, the blank page works every time I load Firefox until I reboot my computer and then Firefox is back.

Do I have to start the backup for the Macair as a new backup?

That happened to my brother earlier. He went into Facebooand then into another app and the same thing happened. he ended up having to restore it. My apple ID is associated with an old email I never use. My current email was set as my rescue email, so I could not make that my new Apple ID. I have changed my rescue email to another email address and verified it, but when I now try to update my apple ID it still says I cannot use that email address becuase it's my rescue email address, even though it is not. I have several firefox tasks running simultaneously but when I try to access a site, it opens in another task, not the one I am currently using.

On my task bar I have several copies of firefox running simultaneously - I need this for work. Recently, however, when I access one of these and go to a new web site, firefox opens the web site in one of the other tasks instead of opening a new tab in the current one. It's probably some setting but I can't correct it. Can you help? Thanks in advance.

How do i get itunes to play in 5.1 on windows, 5.1 works on everything else on my comp, blueray,dvd,games... just not itunes. even though the things i am trying to play have a 5.1 audio track.

I'd first try experimenting with a different browser. If you've been using IE for the download, try Firefox instead (or vice versa).
If no luck there, there's some other suggestions in the following document. (You're not getting the error message, but your problem here falls into the same general class of download trouble.)
