I have recently gotten a used apple Ibook g4 , but it wasnt wiped clean and the old administrator password is still there and i dont have any restore disk can anyone assist me in at least getting the administrator changed . Thank u

I am in the same situation as Kathylynn. My Ibook was purchased through a school district. They recently upgraded their computers and have sold the outdated ones. I have no way of getting in the information through the previous owners.

I just did a software update on my phone (finally) last night and now my phone will not come on. It keeps showing the charger pointing up to a blue circle with iTunes inside and will not go any further. I just got an Ipad and I really dont know much about them its a 32gb 4g wi-fi, I use at&t as my server(dsl) and that works fine but I need to download my mcafee which comes with my at&t for free but it wont let me download it says I need more than 6.1.0and I dont know what to do can anyone help, I know someone that has 1 just like mine but she doesnt use a antivirus and doesnt have any trouble but,,, I have a laptop and a desktop and I use mcafee on both,, so any suggestions, I just down know what to do,,, can anyone give me input on what to do, and I also what to know is there anyway I can use my portable device that I got thru at&t that I can buy minutes on, is there an adapter for this ipad that I can use this on,, help I need all I can get,, thanks chrystie

Recently while playing my IPOD 5th Generation on my automobile deck I saw error 19 appear and it powered down and did not com back on. I jacked it onto a computer and saw error 49 come up. Can anyone help with what the problem might be?

I was using my iPad 3 awhile ago when it just blacked out and now it won't start. Can anyone please help me fix it?
Assuming that the battery isn't empty (and it can take up to 15 minutes of charging before it will respond), then have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds, after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Can't get my printer to appear on the Add Printer List - it is greyed out. Says to use Bon Jour, but it was deleted. Lost all my apps when Genius Bar wiped my Mac, but now they say they do not deal with third party apps.

I have looked in Applications, Utilities and in the System. When I Search, it is not found. I have the printer drivers for my Epson 410 installed, but it asks that Bon Jour be used to find and add the printer. It is very frustrating. I will go back to my last update on Passport and see if I can find it. As I am sure you can tell, I am not very experienced with this. But I appreciate your response!

If your iPod classic is formatted for Windows, and you want to sync it with your Mac, try to force the iPod into Disk Mode and then restore it using your Mac.

Yes. Set up the new iTunes on your omputer, utorize it, then just log in to the iTunes Store with the Apple ID you used and select Purchases fom the Quick Links side bar on the right. Go thru all the tabs to download again for free.

Despite it is claimed in Adobe forum that Lightroom is fully compatible with OS Maverics on my MacBook Air IT IS NOT. A message "an error occurred while attempting to change modules" appears every time I try to open Lightroom. This happened immediately after upgrading to Mavericks. On my doughter's same machine Lightroom works perfectly. Can anyone help?
Surely the Adobe forums are the place for help with Adobe applications. The fact that the problem doesn't occur on your daughter's machine suggests that it's not an issue with Mavericks but a local problem on your own machine.

There is no flash player for iPad and likely wont be in the near future. Some people use Skyfire and other apps as ways to view flash on a remote server, but reviews are mixed.
Facebook works fine on the iPad browser, but you can also use dedicated apps. Games such as Farmville are also available in app forms, as is YouTube. What movie sites are you trying to view? -
I have recently purchased a refubished imac 3.06 ghz intel core 2 duo and I'm trying to install logic 7.2 on this machine. I get half way through the content install and it crash's . I have it installed on an older Imac and it works fine. Is there anybody out there that can help me figuire outhow to make this work?

How do I change the Apple ID that is stored on my MacBook Air. I have changed my Apple ID on the Apple ID website but both my MacBook Air and my iMac show the old Apple ID when accessing iCloud.
I had this problem on my iMac and fixed it after a half hour of frustrated trying. I had changed my Apple ID on my iPad mini while traveling. When I finally got back home after a few months, I couldn't log in to iTunes on my iMac. The old Apple ID was still being used on my iMac. I tried just highlighting it and deleting it and typing in my new Apple ID. No dice. The login just defaulted to my old Apple ID. I tried clicking on the drop down menu that appears when you right right click your Apple ID that appears at the top of the page after highlighting the 'iTunes Store" in the left side list. I saw "account" so I clicked on that. The "account" settings on my iMac showed my new Apple ID but my iMac wouldn't use it. It just kept defaulting to my old ID. I shut down. I logged back in. Same result. Finally I right clicked the same drop down menu and saw "sign out" at the bottom of the list. Even though I was not signed in to iTunes, I clicked "sign out". My next log in to iTunes showed my Apple ID as blank and I was able to type in my new ID. Hope this helps.
I am a long time 20 year Microsoft user. I am somewhat ( 1 year) new to Apple. With Microsoft, I found that fixing problems was clunky and complex, but there was always a post somewhere that explained the fix. Microsoft's explanations stated even the most obvious fact. Even if everyone knew that the sky was blue, Microsoft's instructions would still tell you that the sky was blue. With Apple, I find that the obvious is sometimes not so obvious. But the fix is almost always easy once you find it, without many of the elaborate maneuvers needed in Windows. -
Do not seem to be able to backup iPad via iTunes on to my PC.
Message after connecting is "iTunes was unable to load class information from Sync Services, Reconnect or try later"
Have tried that but get the same result.
Remedies I've tried are:
wait and try again
reboot
reload iTunes
NB hp is a relatively new machine and has previously backed up quite happily.

Try rebooting the iPad. Hold down both the Home and Sleep buttons for several seconds until the Apple logo appears. Ignore the "Slide to power off" arrow. It takes a minute or two to restart.
Also be sure your iPad battery is not completely discharged.

I have a mac OSX desktop version 10.6.8 and all of a sudden I can't get a full screen view in Safari when I ask for help the response is use the arrows on the top right of the screen ... I don't have them ... can anyone help?

I have 10.6.8, as you do. To make your Safari full screen, make sure you have the left hand side of your safari page moved all the way to the left. Then move your cursor to the BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER of the safari page, and simply drag your page towards the lower right hand corner of the screen. NOTE: you will see a series of lines on the bottom right corner of the page, indicating where to place you cursor arrow.

I have a Windows 7 Professional, 64 bits on my computer and have recently installed iTunes 11.1.3.8. but i started having this msg :"The folder iTunes is on a locked disk or you do not have write permission for this folder" issues: how can i solve it?
Right-click on your main iTunes folder and click Properties, then go to the Security tab and click Advanced. If necessary grant your account and SYSTEM full control of this folder, subfolders and files, then tick the option to replace permissions on child objects which will repair permissions throughout the library. This is the XP dialog but Windows 7 shouldn't be too different.
If it won't let you change the permissions use the Owner tab to take ownneship from an account with administror privileges.
