If you are looking for this area, in the newer iOS, it is Settings>Privacy>Location Services. I'm not sure what you are trying to accomplish here, so I cannot give you more information. Is it possible you are trying to give this program access to photos in your Camera Roll? Please provide a little more information.

I should give more information. I was on my iPad (original) in Mail. I was going through the message and it only displays so many. At the bottom of the inbox list there was a notice that there were 67 more messages and an option to display.
I tapped this several times and it did not display - just bounced me up to an eralier message. Eventually the notice disappeared and there were no additonal message to display. I thought the problem was with the iPad, but when I went to my main computer the messages were goen as well, so I went inot iCloud on the Web and the messages were gone there as well.
If worst comes to worst I can use Time Machien to retrieve some of these, but I rarely use the MacBook that has time machine - so I may not be able to get them all.

I downloaded the new IOS 6 on my IPhone 3Gs as it prompted me to do so. so that took 45 mins then told me to connect to Itunes in which i did, then it took 39 mins for itunes to "restore" my phone and after the 39 mins it told me Apple unable to restore IPhone and shut me out. Next a screen popped up on my computer screen and said that i could report the problem to Apple if i wanted to. But at this point my phone is completly locked out. So all i get from my phone right now is the Apple on the screen and the download bar under it and or a block screen if i unplug it and the battery dies. which when i did the upgrade my phone was just off a fresh charge! i need help like ASAP i leave out of town on thursday it is monday and i need a phone with GPS and that can make calls! i am pregnate and have a 2 year old i am traving with and we have no house phone so my phone is very important! I have the same problem.... and it all started straight after the last and latest ios update. Have done all the resets on the phone.... have just competed a full reset through itunes.... and still it does not work. THe same problem is also happening with some other apps.

I downloaded a free Merriam-Webster Dictionary app for use on my iphone 5. I thought I followed the download process properly, but cannot see that the app is launched on my phone. I have checked my phone for 'updates' and the app is listed among the ones I have purchased. I clicked on it and it began installing, however, it still has not launched. I get a message screen to sign in with my Apple ID, which I tried, and I get the message that I have purchased this app and it will download. When I try to sign in, I get the message that it can't connect to the itunes store and to retry. I've done that several times without any luck...not sure where else to look for the 'working' app. I did try re-booting the phone...even did a 'hard reset' to no avail...help?

There is only one Facetime Application available as a download from the App store. Fortunately, it is the one you need for your 10.6.8. MacBook. It is actually known as Facetime for Mac. If you go to the app store and search for Facetime, you should see it as an available download. The cost was 99 cents when I downloaded it last year.

Yes ... if just one song on an album is doing that, it usually means you've got a damaged file on your hands.

If you rent a movie on your phone, you have to watch it on your phone, likewise if you rent it from the Apple TV you will have to watch it there.
If you want to watch a rental on multiple devices, rent it from a computer.

It sounds like it still has her information on it, so it might be efficient to navigate to Settings, then General, then Reset, then Erase All Content and Settings. You can then set up the phone again, using your information. This way the phone will be yours, officially, and her data and information will be removed.

To build on the second option provided by The Edmeister make sure that you have your Sync Key, if this is not the case Firefox Sync will not help you (data is encrypted with that Key).
Finally, if the last sync happened long time ago, it may be the case that your data is not on the servers anymore. Firefox Syn wasn't designed as a back up service.

Hi Romantilizer,
Hook your phone up to iTunes on the computer you sync with and do your update from there. This is a robust iOS release, and doing it OTA is not always successful. I tried on my iPhone a couple of times, and it aborted the update twice. Did it via the Mac, and it was fine.
It takes a bit of time, so hook it up, make sure it is updating your phone, and then find something else to do for a couple of hours.

The OS X Lion installer takes more than 4 GB of space, so it is normal for most Internet connections to take the download more than an hour.
If you want to see the download progress, open the Mac App Store and go to Purchases.
Before upgrading, make a backup of your files with Time Machine and check that your apps are compatible > http://www.roaringapps.com

If you have a PC, you don't have Pages on it. You can transfer Pages presentations to/from iCloud via http://www.icloud.com , however -- you just won't have an app on your PC to deal with Pages documents. Make sure that you have your iCloud account properly configured on your iPad.
