I have the latest LR4 on a mac-mini with OS 10.9.2.  While I can work with raw images from my Canon 1DX and 5DIII. LR4 does not recognize images from my Nikon Df.  Solutions?

Are there solutions?

The Df needs at least LR 5.3, ACR 8.3 or DNGC 8.3 to be recognized.  So your choices are to upgrade LR4 to LR5.x and update that to at least LR 5.3, OR download the DNG Converter 8.4 and use it to convert your unsupported NEF files into DNGs that will be supported by LR4.
