Please give a bit more system details. Which OS and version are you on? Is it 32 bit or 64 bit. Try downloading the Creative Cloud App if not already installed from: https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud. You can choose to install PS from withing this app and need not rely on web page.

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (Later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
    iTunes
    Apple Software Update
    Apple Mobile Device Support
    Bonjour
    Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or by right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.

  • When I launch Firefox 4.0.1 I get an error message that says "We noticed your may have signed inor signed out in another window. Click Ok to reload your page." I have to sign in with my username and password. Richard

When I launch Firefox 4.0.1 I get an error message that says "We noticed your may have signed inor signed out in another window. Click Ok to reload your page." I deleted Firefox and reloaded it - did not solve the problem. This started occurring after I downloaded Windows Service Pack 2. I have Vista 7 OS. So every time I close and relaunch Firefox, I have to sign in with my username and password. Very very, annoying. If I can't get this corrected, I have to start using another Browser. Thanks for your help. Richard

It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Delete the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
    * Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Open Containing Folder
    * http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox
    * http://kb.mozillazine.org/sessionstore.js
If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.<br />
Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note).

I burned photos to a CD-R and the CD-R automatically ejected.  The photos are now on the CD-R.  Now I keep getting an error message that says to complete the burn before I can quit iPhoto.  I can not shut down the computer until iphoto shuts down.

Hit Command + Option + esc on your keyboard and force quit iPhoto. I'm sure it just got stuck talking to your optical drive.
    Hope it helped

  • Although I have the latest version of Firefox installed, I'm constantly getting the warning message that I AM USING THE OLD VERSION; what could be the issue here?

I usually upgrade Firefox within a couple of days when the new version is issued. Nevertheless, I can't seem to get it right. Although when I check "About Firefox" tab in the Help menu it says that my version is 9.0.1 (i.e. the latest version available) - still on the Firefox Update page I always get this annoying msg:
"''Hey there! Looks like you’re using an old version of Firefox.
Don’t miss out on the latest technology & security features.
Get the free upgrade in less than a minute.''" And, I see that your "educated guess" about my browser recognises it as a 3.5.5 version (far being it from the truth!).
I don't believe that the fact that I'm still using Windows XP should have anything to do with this problem, but fyi - my OS is Win XP SP3, regularly updated and upgraded.
Also, even though I live in Croatia, I prefer my Firefox (and other programs) in English, so I use UK version of Firefox.
I do have some problems updating MS .Net Framework - could this be the issue with Firefox too?
Anyway, I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox, even tried installing Croatian version - nothing helped.
As a result of this, I also have a problem with Gmail - I can only use standard, basic HTML view. Also annoying as hell.
Btw, as for "Installed plugins" - I'm not sure which of those are right, but I do not have Netscape installed, and never had one on this computer. I even ran the search for term "Netscape" and it came out empty.
There, I think I've provided as much information as I could think of - so, please help me to sort this out - if you can.
    Thanks

I am trying to update the software on my Mac Book Pro and i keep getting an error message.

You can run software update, write down the names of the upates and versions. Set your Safari preferences, save downloads to desktop, if in the dropdown window desktop is not available, click other and select desktop from the column on the left.
Click Update your software, things are probably on overload today.
This should download the installer to your desktop. Double click it and follow the prompts.
    Al the bast

You have a corrupted user agent:

Check the <b>general.useragent</b> prefs on the <b>about:config</b> page.
You can open the <i>about:config</i> page via the location bar, just like you open a website.
    Filter: <b>general.useragent</b>
If any <i>general.useragent</i> prefs are bold (user set) then right-click that pref and choose <i>Reset</i>.

  • I am using elements 8 and have installed the latest RAW plug in, however I am still getting an error message when trying to open files.  My camera (nikon d7100) shows as a supported camera.  Any suggestions?

The plug in version is 6.2.0.29, which shows that is supports my camera.

    Hi Sully172,
    Please check the below link
    http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/camera-raw-plug-supported-cameras.html
It clearly states that D7100 requires a minimum camera raw version of 7.4
I would advise you to either use the camera raw dng converter or upgrade to Photoshop Elements 13.
    Thanks

  • When I go to google + I'm told my browser nolonger support google + but I have the latest version of firefox. What's wrong?

When I try to open google plus I get a message that say my browser no longer supports google plus. I'm then asked to download the latest version of firefox. But I already use firefox 5.o.1. I've download it and installed but the same thing happens again and again. I have no problem using any other google function, and I can open google plus in Internet Explorer. That's all the information that I have.

  • I have the latest version of Firefox (8.01), yet it still tells me I am using an old version.

I have installed Firefox 8.01 (latest currently), yet on my start-up page, it is still saying "You're not on the latest version of Firefox. Upgrade today to get the best of the Web! " What gives?

    Your User Agent says you're using - Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.3) Gecko/20100401 '''Firefox/3.6.3'''
Your UserAgent string in Firefox is messed up by another program that you installed. <br />
    [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_Agent]
type '''about:config''' in the URL bar and hit Enter <br />
''If you see the warning, you can confirm that you want to access that page.'' <br />
    Filter = '''general.useragent.''' <br />
Right-click the preferences that are '''bold''', one line at a time, and select '''''Reset'''''. <br />
    Then restart Firefox

  • I have Firefox 8.0.1 on my Windows XP PC. On my Firefox opening page I still get a warning that I do not have the latest version of Firefox. Which is the latest version for me and from where do I download it?

On the opening page of Firefox, I am constantly reminded (and sometimes warned) that I do not have the latest version of Firefox. Yet, when I click for upgrade, I start getting a download of the same version 8.0.1 which I am already running.

This - http://www.google.com/firefox - is the old Firefox Start Page used by the Firefox 3.6 and earlier versions of Firefox, I don't think it is being maintained.
Starting with the Firefox 4 version, Firefox is using a "local" Start Page with the address of '''about:home'''. It looks similar to the old Start Page, but it isn't exactly the same.

  • I get, You're not on the latest version of Firefox. Upgrade today to get the best of the Web! When I go to the update site it tells me that I have the latest version.

    I start the Firefox browser.
When the start page displays I get just below the Google search box:
You're not on the latest version of Firefox. Upgrade today to get the best of the Web!
Not unusual but when I go to the update site it searches for a minute and then tells me that I have the current version of the software.

If you use the www.google.com/firefox site as home page that previous Firefox 3 versions use as the home page then you can ignore the message about not using the latest Firefox version on that page.<br />
Google no longer seems to maintain that page.<br />
Current Firefox 4+ versions no longer use that Google website as the home page, but use the build-in about:home page as the home page.<br />
Google assumes that you use an older Firefox version if you still visit that site and warns you that you use an older Firefox version and suggests to update.<br />
You can use another page as the home page like about:home or www.google.com or www.google.com/ig (iGoogle).<br />

I don't think that extension is supported. I believe Firefox can only read .json and .html.
