so after double shaking, is the ring flashing red +white? If it is not, then it is not in pairing mode. (I'm assuming you have the ERA) And you see nothing on the iphone? Nothing is found? Or is the device found, but not paired.
try placing the jawbone in pairing mode first, and then turn off/on the iphone blue tooth.
I don't think you need to unpair with the BB. But you can try. go to BB settings and there should be a way to forget the device.

I'm being shown an error pop-up message periodically saying "There was a problem connecting to the server. URLs with the type 'file:' are not supported." If you cannot connect to any Wi-Fi then try is a reboot of your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
If that doesn't help try resetting all Networks.
Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Netowrk Settings
Still no help? Then make an appointment at an Apple Store for a consultation. -
How odd. I've a somewhat complex bookmarks menu hierarchy, perhaps two dozen folders each containing between five and fifty bookmarks as well as a sub-folder or two. All of this is synced and displayed correctly with the bookmarks tab in the app, except for some of the more recent bookmarks that not organized into folders, and are floating inside the bookmarks menu. Of thirty or so, only five appear. Yet, when I search for them within the app they are found, including several bookmarks made today. These are bookmarks contained in the bookmarks menu but not in any particular folders. Clearly they are synced, yet the entire contents of the bookmarks menu are not displayed correctly in the app. Syncing otherwise seems swift. I've less than 600 bookmarks in total. I seek not to search for specific bookmarks but to browse my entire collection, so you can sense my frustration. I'd call this a bug. Any thoughts? Thanks!
No I didn't change anything deep beneath the hood. My problem didn't apply to the URL, but to the name of the link or bookmark header or whatever you would like to call it. (When hitting Ctrl + D there is a Name field). I only got ???????? instead of chinese characters in the name. Also for e.g. www.cntv.cn ...but maybe all China is not in the whitelist either. ;-) But anyway, this was not the real problem for me.
Apparently I was wrong as after a reboot of the computer it worked. The solution seemed to be to add Chinese to the language list. I don't know why it was not enough to restart Firefox?
Now I only have problems to show chinese characters in the name field of my external link manager... But I guess it is not an issue for Mozilla. -
I can not store all my Music on my internal Macbook pro hard drive so I am storing it on a large external drive connected to my airport extreme (2 TB drive plugged into the USB port). I see the drive on my laptop and I can add and delete files no problem. How do I get Itunes to search for the music here with out trying to copy it to my laptop's hard drive? I don't have enough space to do that.
How did you move the music to the external drive? What exactly is on the drive? The entire iTunes folder or only music? If it is the entire iTunes folder you can do the option+start suggestion earlier. My old iPad 2 is updated to ios 7.1.2 but I have a new 4 which is only compatible with 7.0.4 from setup. How can I backup my account to the new iPad with this incompatibility?
What you need to do is temporarily set up your new 4. Just long enough to update the operating system. Then you can erase all content and settings - which puts it back to its out of box state, then set it up again, this time restoring it from the backup of your two.
So, using the same Apple ID on both - just to keep things easy - set up your 4. Just basically choose 'set up as new' to activate it, then immediately update the iOS to 7.1.2.

Then set it up again, this time choosing to 'restore from the backup' of your 2 and your 4 will be a near clone of your two. -

I am looking to upgrade my macbook pro 13". I have a new logic board and have searched for the spec on this i.e. hdd size and ram. will my 2009 screen work with an updated graphics card ??
Sounds just like what was happening with my Alum MB. I took it in and they replaced my battery. It seems to be ok now. I don't know what it is, but my battery was fine before 10.5.6 and the same timeframe of the firmware updates when they came out.
My battery health was jumping around but was fine before all of this happened. Unfortunately at 381 cycles I don't think you have much chance of getting the battery for free. Perhaps you can complain about the battery saying it was fine until 10.5.6 or whatever. I am using Adobe Reader X on a laptop with Windows Vista OS and Adobe Reader XI on an older laptop with Windows XP OS. While filling out the same form on each computer, I have found that I can save info on the older laptop, but not on the newer one. This is a big problem. I must be able to save on the newer computer. Do I need to buy a new computer with a more up-to-date OS? Please help.
Adobe Reader X can only save reader-enabled forms. Adobe Reader XI can save all forms.

I went through the tutorial, but I don't have the features that are shown. I had tested the BETA version and this was true with that. I use Window XP. Do I need something else to have the new features of Firefox 4?
Follow these steps to fix it:
Firefox Menu > Options > Toolbar Layout > Place your Reload button to the left of the Stop button and they will integrate after you close the Customize Toolbar box. Do the same, but place them to the right of the address bar and they will integrate into the address bar.

If you pre-order with a two-year contract, you would need to add a credit card to your order as you will be charged for the device once it ships out. If you happen to purchase the iPhone with Verizon Edge, there is no upgrade fee. You will also be billed for the device in installments. You may have to pay a down payment with Edge. Did you upgrade with Verizon Edge or our Device payment plan in the past? If so, that is most likely why you were not charged an upgrade fee.

When the message arrives, the message tone sound that many times. How this problem can be solved? I installed the new version, but the problem is not resolved, the future is to be taken into account in the new version of this?
I'm not sure I understand the question, is the message tone going more then once?
Turn off repeat message alert here:
settings > notifications > messages > repeat alert > never
Some people have found this does not stop the repeat miessage tone,
if you are one of those then I suggest you contact Apple:
