I have the Photoshop Elements 11 and when I use the stamp effect the image becomes totally black. It used to have my line drawing in white, now, just a black image. I need the stamp effect. also, most other effects simply crash the program.

Which operating system are you using?
Some filters like Filter>Sketch>Stamp need to have two different colors for the Foreground and Background set in the toolbox.
Press the D key to set the default toolbox color swatches to Black and White and then try the Stamp filter.
If your using mac os x 10.9 or 10.10, then some of the filters under Filter>Sketch will crash pse 11
They are Filter>Sketch>Comic, Graphic Novel and Pen and Ink
Otherwise resetting the pse11 editor preferences might resolve the crashing.
Go to Photoshop Elements Editor(Edit)>General, click on Reset Preferences on Next Launch and then restart the pse 11 editor

I am using Photoshop Elements 12 and when I am importing pictures the system freezes and needs to be forced quit. When I restart it it continues to bring the pictures in eventually. What is the solution to this?

I would do another rename to disable or just delete all the OldFilm.AEX and OldFilm.AEXOLD in that NewBlue Folder.
If you do, please let me know if that OldFilm.AEX regenerates itself the next time you open Premiere Elements 13.
Here is the strange story...at least from my Premiere Elements 13 Windows perspective...never had the No Disc error issue
Here are some details to sort through trying to figure out why you have 2 OldFilm.AEX file in the NewBlue Folder.
1. The original OldFilm.AEX file of Premiere Elements 13 has the date of 9/4/2014 (just before the version was released on 9/24/2014).
After the 13.1 update is done (whenever date), that OldFilm.AEX file has the date of 1/31/2015. I first saw notification of the 13.1 Update
release early in February 2015.
2. Now in Premiere Elements 13.1, if I take my OldFilm.AEX (date 1/31/2015) and disable it by renaming it to OldFilm.AEXOLD, close out of there, and reopen
the program, the OldFilm.AEX is not seen to regenerate. The OldFilm.AEXOLD remains there as its lone self.
3. So, I am thinking that your OldFilm.AEXOLD in the screenshoot is "original equipment" that you disabled to get rid of No disc error.
Why the OldFilm.AEX is there also is not clear, but the dating on it suggests that it came along with the 13.1 Update.
Bottom line: let us try the deletion or disabling one more time and see what happens.

I d/led Photoshop Elements trial and when it finished the d/l it gave me an Error 101

The installer stated that the extraction process failed, that I should check my HD for space...etc.
I am the Admin, it was a personal directory in any case, and I disabled all Virus and Malware detectors for this D/L.
Is it possible to just d/l the packages themselves? After all we all logon in one fashion or another so Adobe has their stats for internal purposes.
Just a thought, especially after dedicating this to a 1.5G d.l.

the file allocation and I found out that Adobe D/Ler made the error of
deciding that the file had been completely d/led when in fact only half the

Photoshop Elements 11 and Lenovo

I have a question and I can't seem to figure out how to reach anyone at Adobe Photoshop. My husband bought me a new laptop (Lenovo Yoga Pro 2, which is an Ultra HD computer with a Solid State Hard Drive). I've downloaded Photoshop Elements 11 and when I open it, it is so small I have to get a magnifying glass to read it. I've tried changing the resolution on the computer, but that didn't work. I was told that this may be a problem between Adobe and Lenovo. It is running on Windows 8.1. Does anyone know anything about this, or if there is a way to fix it?

Photoshop Elements 10 prints are misaligned using hp photosmart 7510

I have Photoshop Elements 10 and when I print a photo using HP Photosmart 7510 the picture is misaligned on the paper. If I print from Windows Photo Gallery the picture is align perfectly. This is a brand new printer.

The white edges should not be showing. The brown around the picture is just a backing I used so the picture would show up better. If I use Windows Photo Gallery to print the same picture it comes
out boarderless like it should, but when I use Photoshop Elements 10 this is what happens. I worked fine with my old printer.

This issue appears where there are any inconsistencies in your catalog (generally for video files). This issue may be due to offline files, missing files, video scenes. The recommendation here would be to fix these inconsistencies and try again. If that doesn't solve the issue, please follow steps mentioned in email by me.
