I have tried to add nosquint addon and am told will be added after restart, but nothing happens

The install dialog box says firefox in not allowing the, and I click the
allow button. I restart the computer, but nothing happens. I had no trouble install previously (I had a problem with a program and had to reinstall firefox. The addon does not come up on the toolbar.

Do you see that extension on the Tools > Add-ons > Extensions (about:addons) page?
It is possible that there is a problem with the file(s) that store the extensions registry.
Delete the files extensions.* (e.g. extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini, extensions.cache) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry.

If you see disabled, not compatible, extensions in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the Tools button at the left side of the Search Bar (or click the "Find Updates" button in older Firefox versions) to do a compatibility check or see if there is a compatibility update available.

You can't merge accounts. But you can check your purchase history:

You can't just download it, you must also run the installer. Did you do that step?

Go to Settings, iCloud, and then Storage and Backup. You will then see a button to backup your iPad. It may be that you have much stuff (i.e. photos, apps) for it to do a full backup but you will be able to tell what the estimated backup should be and what it will consist of so that you can choose to prune down items. If you don't want to backup and get rid of the messages you can just turn backup off from this area as well.

I can see the block (flashes) and the buttons are no longer usable.
I have Empted Cache but doesn't seem to help.

From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences ▹ Extensions
Turn all extensions OFF and test. If the problem is resolved, turn extensions back ON and then disable them one or a few at a time until you find the culprit.
If you wish, you may be able to salvage the malfunctioning extension by uninstalling and reinstalling it. Its settings will revert to their defaults. If the extension still causes a problem, remove it permanently or refer to its developer for support.

download the iTunes standalone installer
reboot into safe mode
run a permission repair session using disk utility
run the installer
let the Mac reboot normally

What is the error number in the error message? To reset the phone you must press and HOLD both buttons for at least 10 seconds, and longer until an Apple logo appears.

I am trying to install the CC on my Mac because my desktop computer died on me. I logged in, selected photoshop ( or premiere, or after effects) and hit the download button. The site says download in progress but nothing happens. I have downloaded other software ( not adobe) and it worked fine...Any idea what is wrong? I am not a Mac person and I am kind of lost. Click the Apple logo at the top left hand corner and go down to Force Quit. Then force the Finder to restart/quit.
Otherwise you can use the Command-Option-Escape short cut keys to open up Force Quit and force the Finder to quit.

Just updated from 10.6.7 ---> 10.6.8 and had the same issue. Despite having done a clean install from 10.6 and got everything back off my TC, now Time Machine can't find it!
Green light is on, ethernet cable conected, network CP says its conected but nothing. Airport Utility can't find it. Hit reset button, Orange flashing light but still no show in Airport Utility.
But I know its there, as rebooting from 10.6 SL disk shows the backups are still ok?
Hmm, ideas anyone?
