How do I solve this issue so I can use the Captivate software?
- You can only sync with one iTune library but you can manually music music and vides with different computers. To do so go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Sync your iPod....>Sync You Device>Set up Syncing>Sync your device manually and follow the instructions.
- To get iTunes to see the iPod:

i have a classic that seems to be stuck in restore mode, the screen says "do not disconnect'' and i can't restore using itunes. i have tried resetting it and still no good, what can i do to fix this problem ?

I've also just run into an issue where I couldn't restore an iPod with a corrupt file system, and the "super fix" in that linked article wasn't working for me. I've run across a potentially useful workaround.
iPod Classic went on the fritz today just after syncing. Couldn't restore via iTunes, kept getting 1439 errors, Windows wouldn't format as FAT32, claimed the "Volume is too big for FAT32". Finally tracked down EaseUS Partition Master Home Edition (Free) and formatted as FAT32 with 128k clusters. The iPod is filling back up again. Might be worth a shot here...

Iphoto won't display photos or run a slideshow - just a black screen. Can't see photos to edit etc. Thumbnails all OK and all else seems visible in the usual way etc. Tried rebuilding library and reset Mac Air but no result. Ideas please!!!!

When you rebuild the library did you rebuild the database? Also did you repair the library's permissions? Is this the First Aid window that you got?
Those are the two options to use.
Here's another fix you can try:
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.>Click on the Add Library button,
2 - select the library you want to add from those in the selection window.
3 - make sure that in the rebuild window the checkbox "Scavange orphaned photos" is checked.
4 - now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the Library ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
5 - in the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed. Click on the Create button.
Note 1: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost.
Note 2: Your current library will be left untouched for further attempts at a fix if so desired.
You'll have to recreate your slideshow after using this method. -
Hi. My new computer had Acrobat on it. Suddenly, I was unable to open any PDF's. and then I tried to update and was forwarded to the Adobe site that said I had to buy a monthly subscription. I do not have the physical box with a serial number and was going to buy the one advertised on the website until I discovered it's only for students and teachers, which I am not. What should I do next as I need to use PDFs on a daily basis. Thanks! I would like to be able to download this and pay online. Possible? I currently have Adobe Acrobat XI Pro. I like and use Top Sites but it has become unsuable with this constant blacking out and reloading the thumbnails. My MBP has not seen a problem at all.
I have been searching every other day for over a month trying to find a fix in Windows Safari with no joy. I want to resolve, not switch browsers. Please offer up a solution that only refreshes the Top Site thumbnails once a day or as some controlable interval. Started about two versions ago, now on ver 5.1.5. Windows 7 64bit.

My ipod touch is stuck up at Apple Logo, I have tried to update and restore through ITunes but no use, It stuck up again at Apple Logo with no Error, after restoring ITunes showes your ipod is restore but still apple logo won't go, Due to new Laptop, I do not have any backup, therefore i have tried to select new Ipod touch and goes through step by step procedure but no use, Please help what to do?
i tried reseting my ipod today and had a similar problem... it wont be recognized by itunes, the only thing i havent tried is putting it into DFU mode, or the state that it is in when u recieve it telling u to connect it to itunes.i recommend putting it into DFU mode. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=34v8HMC9B98 this should better explain it. if i find another way, ill keep u updated

I presume that you mean that the switches do not light up as appropriate when you select a Patch in MS?
If so, in Layout Mode, select each of the buttons in turn, and check that they are a) Assigned to the correct MIDI CC number etc, and b) that "Send Value to" has the correct Port selected.

My Canon MP620 appears to be connected, yet every time I try to print something, it says error. I have tried to unplug and track the error, but I cannot figure out why. Please help! this is such an inconvenience!

I have an iphone 5. Speaker works but I cannot hear through the apple earbuds. Tried multiple earbuds and none work. But they work in our other iphone 5. Has anyone been able to resolve this without pursuing a replacement ? If so what was the fix?
You're not using a supported carrier. What did you think Apple was going to tell you?
As fizzDripper suggests, contact the SIM card provider. How to make an unsupported SIM work on your phone is not Apple's problem. -
We have tried several times to restore the iphone but it keeps telling us that this is corrupt and try again later.

Try resetting. Hold the sleep wake button (on the top edge), and the home button (round button on the front with the white square) at the same time for 10-15 seconds. If you see the apple logo, let go. Your phone should restart. If not?

Weird characters in my action window
I don't know how I did it but in my action script window I seemed to have turned on visual whitespace. I see character returns at the end of every line, dots for spaces and ">>" for tabs. Does anyone know how to turn that off its really annoying.
