I just $$ a hp notebook all i want is to be able to plug my phone in and import pictures & it doesnt
i plug it into the computer and it trys to loadd it and says it cant, i did the updates and every single thing it recommended nothing has worked WHY????

It sounds like your available free space is not reporting properly. I would start by quitting the Settings app:
iOS: Force an app to close
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that restart the device and test the issue again:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
If the issue persists, backup your device to iTunes, then restore it as new and verify that it works.
How to erase your iOS device and then set it up as a new device or restore it from backups
If it does, then restore your backup to either verify it still works and the software just needed reinstalled, or isolate the issue to the backup file itself.

Particularly:
Battery does not charge
Verify that the outlet being used is working.
Try another USB power adapter if available.
If no other USB power adapter is available, try connecting to a high-power USB 2.0 port (not a keyboard). The computer must be turned on and not in sleep or standby mode.
Try another USB cable if available.
iPhone or iPod touch displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive
If you see the image below, charge the iPhone or iPod touch with USB power adapter for at least 15 minutes.
You should see this image when iPhone or iPod touch begins to charge:
If the screen still displays the low-battery icon, try turning the iPhone or iPod touch off and then on again.
If the issue persists, follow these troubleshooting steps.

I updated to the iOS6, and it allows you to view and send messages with any phone on iOS6 and linked to your iTunes account. You can unselect phones so they dont go out through the phone, but is there a way to block other phones from adding yours? Example, I don't ind being able to see what my son is sending/receiving on his phone but I don't really want him to be abe to add my phone and see all my messages...

I''m using a Kodak M532 camera with a 2 gigabyte SD card. I recently took 30 photos, all of which are visible on the camera's screen. When I attempted to import them the last 15 were said to be in an unreadable format (no. 1117 on). I deleted some 200 photos from the card, but photos that I then took, though also visible on the camera's screen, were also said to be in an unreadable format. Is there a fix?
There is an ongoing issue with Kodak cameras and 10.6. Workaround: Reformat the card with the camera and use a USB Card Reader.

I just got an Iphone 5, and it requested an update. I plugged it in and connected it to my home wifi and now I can not use it at all. The only thing that shows on the screen is the itunes symbol. I tried to hold the start button and the enter button, but that does nothing. I have pictures and videos on the phone, is there any way to retrieve them?
Plug it into your computer and restore it. It is in recovery mode. Anything that was on the phone is already gone. If the pictures and videos were not backed up, then there is no way to retrieve them.

Do you currently have Settings > General > Restrictions > Require Password set to 'Immediately' ? If you do then you will need to enter your password for every app update as well as for every new purchase. -

It tried to uplaod and said merely that it could run on this computer (I have a $#$#ing MAC G5, loaded to the gills with ram, memory etc....So, I thought, ah, it must mean after 4, there was a paid upgrade...So I went to buy the ife or just te movie thing again...but it only ships...it sees...actually thats whats so frustrating.....WHY DON'T THEY SAY, that it's nt down;loadable....as an upgrade to post 6, yes. but as an u[pgrade to 4, no. All I want to do is pay them for the full product and then DOWLOAD it.....!!!! no downloads of iLife available, iLife6 fills a 4.7GB disk (keyword: templates, tutorials, etc)… clients with phone modem will still download, when iLife7 is in the shops…
iLife is NOT part of a system, you're buying, it goes extra…
iLife is included on new Macs and can be found on the installer disks.
you're living in LA => how many Apple shops are there.....? (me jealous, next Apple store here in Europe ~1000miles away, in London…)

Git is over complicated; all I want is the url of my repo? Where is it?
I have a local repo, I created the online repo on Visual Studio, but I cannot find the url to the project anywhere.

Can someone please explain to me what this means, I have had a 20 hour day so in the morning I may not need it; but I cannot find the remote url for my repo anywhere on Visual Studio Online and I have the empty repo waiting, but this is 100 times harder

I want a button, and I guess I am going to have to finish my own source control to get this, but all I want to do is hit "Add solution to source control", and no where in Git is that available. I watched a 10 Part video series on Git; before it
takes 10 videos to explain something I would create an Easy version that you hit, Add Solution To Source Control.
I don't Git why everyone thinks Git is so great. Once setup I like Git, but Visual Source Safe was easier to setup and I hated that product, but it worked. We went backwards in 15 years in my opinion.
When an error message says 'there is no remote branch configured", shouldn't there be a "Configure Remote Branch" link there instead of just leaving you knowing you are screwed. -

Place your iPhone into recovery mode as described here. You may have to try to enter recovery mode more than once to succeed.

Hi, I have an important question which I need to ask you folks.
For the past four years, I have been using iTunes on my laptop, the only computer I have had to use iTunes. All of my movies, songs, etc are saved to an external hard drive which connects through its USB port.
That laptop is not currently working, and for the past couple of months has been upstate at a friend's house, as he is attempting to fix it.
I just got a new portable tablet capable of running iTunes today. I have not set it up yet has I have been busy at work; but I want to have the tablet have iTunes on it as well under my existing iTunes account, but I am not sure exactly how to go about it. This will be my second computer machine that iTunes will be installed under, and I want to be able to plug into it the external hard drive, The exact same hard drive I have been using on my old computer with all my iTunes information on it.
How do I do it?If the iTunes database files are on that drive, launch iTunes with the Shift key(Windows) or Option key(Mac OS X) held down, select Choose Library, and navigate to it. The computer may need to be authorized to play protected content, and if the library contains rented movies, those won't play.
If not, import the content to an iTunes library.

Sorry for the long intro question. I just bought a new iPhone 5S for me and a new 5C for my wife.
We want to give our kids my old 4S and my wife's old 4. We backed up our old phones and restored
our info to our new ones, but when we connect our old phones, they still show all our songs and iTunes
settings on them (along with the same names as our new ones).
We want to set up our old iPhones for our kids to be able to have their own names on theirs so that
when we connect to my iTunes computer, it sees each phone accordingly, and has only the songs
that they select (whereas I want to keep ALL my songs in my iTunes account on mine, not just some).

I have my iTunes on my PC and have an iPod Classic, I have just purchased an iPod touch and want to load all of my Itunes music onto it, how do I do this and not loose my library, I'm not very computer savvy.
You sync music the same way as on the Classic. What you sync to an iPod does not effect the iTunes library on your computer.
