It still works on my iPad - is it working on any of your apps e.g. Safari, Mail, Notes, and are you touching right at the top of the screen (I've seen a few other posts implying that the area of the screen that you need to touch isn't quite as deep as it used to be) ? It sounds like you restored the backup of your old phone to your new phone.
Unless you backed up the new phone first or manually copied the pictures off prior to restoring the backup, the pictures are gone.

If you did not do a backup of the phone before this restore, while the number was on the phone, then you have lost it. Generally when you do a restore, the phone prompts you to perform a backup. Restore the phone from that backup.

Well with the contacts, if you had back up assistant or google back up then you may be able to retrieve them.If not then they are gone for good. Withe the message you ae getting about the space, since you cleared everything out and still get that message you might or actually need to do afactory reset thru settings. So make sure the apps you want are saved on your card or just do the reset and redownload the apps

Yes i had not taken back up before restoring it. However i was just going through some links on the net and there is a software available for MAC to retrieve such lost data. But the point is will the said software work on iphone as the OS is not MAC..
Will have to give a try to this. If successful will share it with all. Anyone else has any idea about this please so share.

As i said. I stopped synching my apps because i had like 2.5 GB of other and i didn't know what that was so i tried to remove my apps and put them again on it. It didn't work cause the other is still 2.5 GB. But now i have got a problem, everything that i saved in my apps is gone. I had poets of mine saved and now they all vanished. The only way to get your info back would be, if you restore from your last backup or, if you did already sync, one from the list, if there are any more backups listed.
iTunes keeps only one actual backup, each new backup replaces the old one. Only backups you used to restore from are not overwritten.
