Thank you very much. I just called Apple support and the woman told me I was out of luck because with the new OS X it (that feature) was gone.
I'm not sure she knows too much.
Maybe I can get a job there. I don't know as much as she didn't know !

Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Check for .dll files
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes and C:\Program Files\iTunes and look for .dll files.
If you find QTMovie.DLL, or any other .dll files, move them to the desktop.
Reboot your computer.
Note: Depending on your operating system, you may only have one of the listed paths.
Uninstall and reinstall iTunes
Uninstall iTunes and all of its related components.
Reboot your computer. If you can't uninstall a piece of Apple software, try using the Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall Utility.
Re-download and reinstall iTunes 11.1.4.
When you get to the step to uninstall iTunes, it is important to uninstall iTunes and the related components in the order listed in the link for that step.

Do you want to try to reopen its window again? If you choose not to reopen windows, you may have to open and position the window yourself. There are 2 options: Don't Reopen or Reopen Either choice leads to a window that pops upend says please wait while we launch Acrobat and then window just closes quickly.

You may goto control panel and then go to program and features.
Select the Acrobat pro and chose the option change from the top. Fallow the onscreen instruction a windows will pop up where you need to choose repair.

I just recently downloaded the new Mavricks update and now all my numbers Documents say i need to download the new system before opening. I alread have the new numbers system so i am unsure of what I need to do to fix it. I use numbers all day for my job so not having it is really not an option.

Go to the App Store via the Dock or by starting the program from your Applications folder. Sign in with your Apple ID/Password and type Numbers in the search box on the top right. That should let you navigate to the Numbers download.

Hi! It was a library book and I first downloaded it to my computer, then tranferred it to my Ipod via USB cable.
It appears on my Ipod menu under Music - Audiobooks and also under Playlists where the book title appears with 10 songs under the name.
However, it does not show up at all on my computer screen under my Library music listings either on the left side where the playlists are listed or on the right where the individual songs and artists, etc. are listed.
At this point my setting is on manaully manage music. If I change that now in order to download and buy a song, my book will get deleted from the Ipod.

I got a new ipod touch and now I can't sign in to FaceTime on it because the app says my email address is already in use...

Ipod needed to be replaced because of a bad display. Now I can't get into Facetime. At the Apple store no one said I should sign out before I handed the old iPod over to them...

I just upgraded to 10.7.3 and now I can't install any applications.

I just upgraded to 10.7.3 and now I can't install any applications. Everything else in the OS and in applications seems to work OK. After the installers ask for the system password, they do nothing. I doesn't hang; it just won't proceed any further in the install process. I can press the back button and it seems to do that just fine. I repaired the disk permissions, but to no avail.
After I installed 10.7.3, I tried to install an updater that was listed as being recommended for Time Machine users. That was the first time I tried to launch an installer of any sort and it did the same as above. I've gathered since then that the update wasn't necessary and was already included in the 10.7.3 I loaded today.
Any hints?

I'm having a similar problem after installing 10.7.3 and the Messages beta. I've unistalled Mesages with little bit of trouble.. Linc, I followed the step given in your final post any help would be appreciated.
A screenshot of my actual error. I get this error not just for Flash, but also Handbrake. I receieve th error even when I try using a programs automatic update. However, not suprisingly I do not get the message when using Apple's software update.

I have not had wifi since November when I upgraded to the newest IOS version. I called the Apple help line and they told me some things to do and I tried them all and they worked for a few hours and then wifi shut off again. I kept doing what they told me and it worked for a couple more days and then I could never turn it on again. My blue tooth doesn't work either. I had to actually increase my data usage with AT&T becuase of this. When I did that in December I went to the Apple store and was told that it is a hardware issue and since my phone is out of warranty I would have to pay for a new phone because they could not fix the issue. My upgrade isn't up until June 2014 so not only do I have to wait for the upgrade and I am not paying for a new phone but I have to pay $10 plus extra a month on my cell phone bill because I was going over on my Data!!! I have been beyond upset about this and Apple is not doing anything about this nor did they offer up some way to resolve the issue because obviously it is not just some rare incident if several people are having this issue. Who knows how many people out there have had this issue and have not said anything about it. Now there is a newer update that I can't do because it requires wifi in order to download.
June can not get here fast enough and I may not go back to Iphone after dealing with this for so long with no help from Apple.

I have an ITunes account. I got it when I got my IPOD. I've thought about upgrading, but I didn't see any reason to buy a newer IPOD because they all come with so much stuff I don't want/need. I don't have my current IPOD filled yet and I really don't need an IPOD Touch that has capabilities that my Droid already has. Simple:
File -> Export to get your photos out of the iPhoto Library. In the Export dialogue you can set the kind to Original and you'll get back exactly what you put in.
Apps like iPhoto2Disk or PhotoShare will help you export to a Folder tree matching your Events.
Once exported, you can then trash the iPhoto Library - just drag it from the Pictures Folder to the trash and empty it.
After that, if you're entirely neurotic about it, just put the iPhoto app in the trash and empty it.

Using Migrations Assistant will only move the data and other things over, it will not bring over a previous version of the Os since the 2014 model can run anything earlier than Yosemite.
