I just recieved an iPad mini iOS 7 and currently use an Android 2.2 phone which I would like to share stuff by way of bluetooth. It says that they are paired, but won't connect. Are they not compatible? Or is there some app that makes it work?
I have been able to pair them, but they wont' connect. Is there a compatibility issue? Or is there some app that I can get to make it work?
iOS does not support file sharing over BT. To the best of my knowledge, there are no apps that will allow sharing from iOS to Android over BT but, I could be wrong.
You can use a service such as DropBox. Or just email things.

Start with these tips if your iPad mini is stuck on "syncing" when you try to back it up:
Update to the latest version of iTunes.
Plug the device directly into a high-power USB 2.0 port on the computer. If possible, use a USB port on the back of the computer.
Avoid plugging the device into a keyboard, display, or standalone hub. The USB ports on these accessories may be low-power or only offer USB 1.x connections.
If you are using an accessory, remove the accessory and connect the device to the computer using only the Apple 30-pin to USB Cable or Lightning to USB Cable.
If you have access to additional Apple 30-pin to USB Cable or Lightning to USB Cables, try testing with another if the first one doesn't work.
Restart your computer and device. To restart your device:
Hold the power button until "slide to power off" appears. Slide to power off your device. When it is off, press the Sleep/Wake button to turn it back on.
Disconnect all USB devices from your computer, except for your keyboard and mouse. Then reconnect the iOS device. If the issue is resolved, reconnect other USB devices, testing after each connection.

Just got an iPad mini 3 and have not reset my iPad mini 3; is that why the photos from iCloud backup are not showing up in the new iPad?
Sorry, don't know what you are asking. You have an old iPad Mini 3 and a new iPad Mini 3? How did you set up the new iPad? Did you restore it from a backup of the old iPad? What photos are you not seeing?

My Ipad 3 is the same, it must be a design fault cuz I dropped a pound coin on my ipad screen and it shattered and every other week there's a new dent or scratch, though I wouldn't say I'm overly rough with it. I use it a lot, like most do, so accidents will happen and Apple hav to allow for that. I deffently wouldn't say that they are worth the money for the amount of trouble they cause, they r great devices, just far too delicate and expensive!

I have some audio files on my previous phone which I would like to export to my new iPhone 5. I am told that you can only import files from iTunes. Is that true? If not, how do I import files from my phone - or my Macbook pro laptop-to my phone? Thanks!
iTunes will only import music from your phone that was purchased from the iTunes store. To transfer music from other sources you have to use 3rd party software, such as PhoneView.

Can you pair through bluetooth my phone to more than one vehicle? My new Honda CRV receives text messages. However it says my Iphone 4 CDMA is not compatible. Is there software I need to download to my phone?
If it works anything like Ford Sync, you can pair the same phone to different vehicles, as long as you set up separate Bluetooth profiles on the iPhone for each vehicle.
As far as Texts go, you won't be able to get them in your vehicle because the iPhone doesn't have the software protocols to do it. FWIW, I can't get texting from my iPhone 4S in my new Lincoln with Ford Sync either. -
Just upgraded my iPad Mini software and now it is stuck in a reboot and won't come on. Please help!

I just noticed that a software update was available. I think it was iOS7. Did not really take note of what it was. But now my iPad Mini won't come on. it is stuck in a reboot and has been that way for at least an hour. Just tried to attach a picture of the screen without success.
If it was a phone, I'd have taken out the battery and just reinserted it but I can't do that with the iPad.
What can I do??? Please help!!!
Thank you.Much better to update your iPad's software while it's connected to a wall outlet via the cable and adapter that came with it. Do not update on battery power alone.

i tried installing ios 6 on my new ipad but when i try to change it to ios 6 it says that the firmware file is not compatile. Is there any way to fix this problem?

Only developers have legal access to iOS 6 right now, if you really, really wanted it you could sign on as a developer for $99.

Iphone 3g pairs, but won't connect to 520 plantronics headset via bluetooth
I have a 520 plantronics headset, it pairs fine with both my MBP and my iPhone. With the MBP, it connects fine and can be used as expected.
It will not, however, connect to the iphone (but pairs ok). I have search the web, but I am just guessing. Does anyone know how to make it work?
Although the 520 can pair/connect to 2 devices (MBP and iphone), my primary interest is in using it with the iphone).

Have you tried connecting it to a computer with iTunes to initiate the cellular activation? Is this a wi-fi iPad? Is it connected to wi-fi? It sounds as if you're not connected to the Internet.

After downloading you can sign in to creative cloud desktop application with your Adobe ID and the applications would be activated.

i just updated my ipad to ios 8 but i cant connect to wifi network..its says my password is incorrect although i know my password is correct as successfully updated 2 iphones and connected to same wifi network
I had the same problem. I reset my network settings as iOS 8 on my iPad 3 seemed a bit slow. When I tried to reconnect to the wifi the correct password was not accepted immediately.
after retrying several times it did manage to join the network. The only observation I had was that I had a weak signal and an iPhone next to me at the time.
make sure you are close to the wifi signal away from any other wifi devices. -
i have the latest generation ipad and just purchased an ipad mini but when signing onto the apple store, my most recent app purchases are not visible to download on my new ipad mini i.e. "receipe box". How can i download onto the new ipad mini without paying again?
