If the device is indicating to connect to iTunes, then it is in recovery mode. You will need the computer and iTunes to recover it. You can fix the iTunes to not sync to your device, but just let it recover the phone. I hope you would have a backup of your data in iCloud, since it is no longer available to you on the phone.

I just updated to iOS7 and an old appleid popped up. My old password is not recognized so I can't delete the account or turn off find my iphone. The old appleid is linked to an email I don't have anymore, and answers to my security ?'s aren't recognized. Is there any way I can reset my account to my new appleid? This has happened to every iphone and ipad in my family that has updated to iOS7.

No, I'm sorry. If you're seeing that Connect to iTunes screen that means the phone is in recovery mode and needs to be restored.
If you can't borrow a friend's computer, you can go to the Apple Store and they will restore it for you. -

I Updated my phone to ios7, and all of my apps are gone except for the first page. I went to the apps store to my purchases. It will let me open the apps, but when I close it the icon will not appear on the screen. I had 3 pages of apps, and now I'm down to 1 page. Can anyone please help me to get them back.
Thank you so much. Wonder why the second page only has one app and the rest are on other pages? Apple should do better than that. We spent hours trying to figure it out.

I bought Garageband and I updated my iPhone to iOS7 and downloaded garageband. But when I tried to download it again on my iPad after updating to iOS7 it asks me to purchase it again. I'm not sure what's wrong. Can anyone help me?
Rebooted my ipad and that worked worked for me...it was maddening to be sure!

I just updated to iOS7 and Pages will not print using AirPrint!
Like the title says, Pages will not print. It's just a Pages issue. I can print using AirPrint when I print things from Safari or photos stored on my iPad. I've tried rebooting my router, "forgetting" my wifi connection and hooking it up again, I've exited Pages completely (so it's not running in the background) numerous times...nothing is working.
Strangely, Pages finds my printer just fine and goes through the motions of printing. It will tell me the usual "connecting to printer", "preparing printer", "now printing"...but nothing happens with the printer. It's like the connection between Pages and the printer gets lost somewhere. Pages used to print just fine before I updated to iOS 7. Whether that's just a coincidence or not, who knows. Has anyone else had this issue and found a solution?I Also have the exact same issue, did you manage to resolve the issue?

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)

Double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. You may have many open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign.

Unfortunately, you have to restore the iPad using recovery mode and you must use iTunes on a computer to do so. You can restore your iPad on any computer that is running iTunes, but it will totally erase the iPad. That's what would happen if you had your own computer as well, but many people would have a backup in iTunes from which they could restore,
If you backup with iCloud, you can restore that backup after you get the iPad up and sunning again. If you don't backup, you will just have to start downloading your content again. Most of your paid content will be free to download again as long as you use the same Apple ID and as long as it is still available in the stores where it was purchased. -
I just boght a refurbished MacBook (2009ish) with 4gb RAM and 160gb hard drive, running Mavericks. It is an update from a 2006 iBook running Panther. I have a tera external. As this is a refurbished machine, I do not have the startup disks.
In general setup has been fine, with the exception of a couple of issues.
1. I cannot get iTunes to recognize my iTunes library on my external. I've done all the setup, a few times, but it just won't acknowledge it's there. I downloaded a few files from the Cloud, but when I look in the library they're not there. They're also not in the "music" folder on the hard drive. Suggestions?
2. For some reason, when I create an "iTunes Media" folder on my external, iTunes does not save things into it. Every single album/song/artist is listed as a separate folder. That is, when I open my external in Finder I get a window with well over 100 folders. This would be fine, if not for the fact that I have other, non-iTunes files, on my external and it makes it a pain to find them when I need to. This isn't such a big deal, but it is a rather pain in the arse. Thoughts?
3. I have also moved my iPhoto library to my external, but when I click on "iPhoto Library" in my external I don't see any actual files, despite there being over 1000 photos in the library. Is this normal? It doesn't seem right.

i dowloaded Mavericks onto my 2011 Macbook Pro and upon installing realized that there wasn't enough room on the disk for it. problem being that now i don't know how to get into the machine at all to remove content and make space. any assistance appreciated.
Once you can boot to free disk space here are hints on how you can do that.

Empty the trash.
- Delete all files in the Downloads folder.
Empty the Trash.
- Start iPhoto. Empty its trash.
- Delete "Recovered Messages", if any.
Hold the option key down and click "Go" menu in the Finder menu bar.
Select "Library" from the drop down menu.
Library > Mail > V2 > Mailboxes
Delete "Recovered Messages", if any.
- Empty the Trash.
- Restart.
- Re-index your system disk:

If you are running 10.6.8 or 10.7 down it from https://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/7402/omnidisksweeper. Do not touch any system files. Do not offload files onto a Time Machine disk. Do not offload your entire user folder. Do not rely on restoring files from Time Machine; delete only those files you never want to see again. Do delete or offload seldom use folders/files in your user folder. Remember to empty the trash after trashing the files.
To have Time Machine backup your system disk and your external offload disk up onto your Time Machine disk:
