Do the purchases show in the purchase history after you log into your iTunes account? Could they be in-app purchases?

I guess it has been a year since I last purchased something on I-tunes and my account is saying that they couldn't authorize my card for some of my purchases. I am trying to add a new credit card to clear this up and it keeps saying that I have to enter a valid security code. I have tried 2 different cards and I get the same thing. I have also added an I-tunes gift card and that isn't clearing up the money that I owe. It is showing that I have a $25 credit for that. How do I fix this, I have been trying for days and all I have got from the e-mail tech support is that its my credit card issuer that is causing the problem. Thats not correct because one of the credit cards that I am trying to use, is a prepaid Visa gift card. I know that these work on I-tunes because I have used them before in the past. I am getting very frustrated with this whole process, I just want to clear up my account and buy some new music!! HELP!!

I haven't been able to update my credit card info from the one Apple has to the one at the bank with is the one linked to my card. And I have had a nightmare just getting someone to help me. I can't update an app that I actually really need to use. I am losing money everyday this is not resolved
No this was absolutely of no help what so ever!!!!1I have had this issue before and it was also a nightmare. I don't understand why you have to go thru so much pain until you can talk to a real person. I don't have 48 hours. I use this app to make money. I can't update it, so I can't use it, all because I can't update my info, which is clearly on the Apple side. Not my bank (like they first want to say), not me, I know who I am, but it must be something on apple's side. And to wait 48 hours for an email response to tragic . I can't believe a company with as much assets as Apple can't get a real person to help me sort this out. I had this same problem years ago, and it was the same mess. Whay do I keep doing this? Am I just one of the bovine masses who just have to have an iPhone? Yikes

Any help greatly appreciated...The Mac App Store prices do not include local sales taxes. The tax is added to the total before your sale is complete. Your gift card credit total is not enough to complete the sale, so you are being given the opportunity to add a bank card that will be charged the remainder of the amount. Your other option is to get another gift card and bump up the credit balance in your account.

I never had problems before buying apps for my iphone 4s. I even bought some today. then I started getting a message that paypal is not compatible with itunes and I had to go to my account and put a defferent payment. I did that but I still can't buy apps or even download free apps. Has anyone else had this issue and how did you fix it?

I can't get my old card off iTunes acct,keeps saying billing issue ..well the card was cancelled bc it was stolen..and they will not let me delete it they want a NEW CARD ON FILE..NO I NOW KNOW I DON'T NEED A CREDIT CARD FOR THE FREE APPS ECT. SO WHAT'S THE PROBLEM.?I did my daughters w.o. Credit card but they won't let me have same option on iPad 1 I guess I should try from of but idk if it'll make difference,also they apple won't let me update any of my apps..WTH? And one more question how do I take ( uninstall app/ games ) from iPad? I got free games from app store and after three levels u get into games then they want u to purchase the rest of the game? Dammm no more..idk how to take these games off my iPad don't want them ain't paying to finish games...thanks anyone who can help!!!OHH

I am running itunes 9 on Tiger. Everytime I try to edit my credit card number, it says "session timed out". I need to change the card number in order to purchase music. Suggestions?

Since you don't say what resources and methods you've been attempting to get this matter resolved, it's difficult to offer suggestions. But if your credit card has been used without your permission, your primary recourse should be to your credit card company to report the unauthorized charges and have them issue you a new credit card. If your card has been compromised such as to make unauthorized charges on the iTunes Store, it's highly probably that it can be used elsewhere.
As to removing the card number from your iTunes Store account, see:

You should be able to change or remove the card information there. If not, go here:
iTunes Support
and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store, if you have not done so already. If you have, please post back with a summary of what they told you and perhaps someone can offer additional suggestions as to how to proceed.

How do I get the none button to pop up so u don't have to have a credit card for apps? I owe nothing for apps from Apple, NOTHING!? And it still does not show the option "none". If it helps the card I have is a debit.
I'm happy you figured it out and just try to keep in mind that not everyone you talk to at support will give the same advice or have the same knowledge. Just like those who contribute to these forums. Sometimes Google is your best friend.
I agree that Apple could probably make it easier, but as of yet prefer security over freedom. (sound famaliar?)

I have recieved a bill for itunes that wouldn't download how do i get this resolved?
If you had your bank refuse the charge as fraudulent, the iTunes Store probably blocked your credit card as stolen. Go here:

and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store and request assistance.

the card and it is still all good. My friends and I buy a lots of Apple applications on iTune.
We have the correct CVV2, Expiration Date and Billing address, but you keeps declining us. Please fix this problem for me. The issuing bank for this card is Techcombank, one of the largest banks in Vietnam. According to the bank, the transaction is processed in the US. This is a legitimate Visa card.
Please let me know as soon as possible. Apple does a disservice to its brand name by declining legitimate Visa account holders from using the cards in Vietnam.

<Edited by Host>Just as a warning, your credit card number has been sent in the clear to probably thousands of people, including anyone who subscribes to e-mail alerts to this forum. That's very, very bad. The credit card should be considered compromised at this point, and you should cancel it immediately, if you haven't done so already.

iTunes will not use the redeemed gift cards on my account, I have a $30 credit and when I try to purchase a song it goes right to my credit card on file. Why does this keep happening???

I was downloading $15 worth of iTunes songs from a gift card when my iPod died. Now, no credit & no songs on my iPod. Where did either my $$ go or my songs that I paid for disappear? How do I get one or the other? On a computer go to iTunes>Store>View Account>Sign in and go to purchased history and see if you actually purchased them.
