The Danish version of Firefox was suddenly foisted on me after an update. OK, I live in Denmark, but I work entirely in English and don't want these terms which are anyway translated from English. How can I get the English version back?

There is usually a link on such websites choose a language or go to an international version that allows to chose the language.

Is the whole Mac in Spanish? If so, that can be set in your language preferences in Settings.
If not, and it is just FF, you can download the English version on the firefox.com site. Click "other operating systems" link below the main download link. That page will have every language version available. Download the English one, and send the Spanish one in your Applications folder to the trash.

Note that changing the language of the iTunes program is a different setting than the language of the iTunes Store.

I live half a year in Germany and half a year in California. How can I use my different Apple ID's to buy in Germany from the US-iTunes shop and in the U.S. from the German shop. Reason: the shops have different offers. Some booksare not available in the German shop and some are not available in the U.S. shop.
For a person, who lives in both countries the restrictions makes absolutely no sense.

For starters, there's probably not many people who have dual national residencies so I'm guessing it's not a priority with Apple. The solution according to the store terms of use regarding your physical location, credit card billing address, nation of store, is when you are physically present in Germany you should be making purchases from the German store with a credit card billed to an address in Germany. When in the USA you buy from the US store with a credit card billed to a USA address. You're not supposed to use a store in another country when not actually present in that country even if you have a valid account there.

The phone was hacked to unlock it. It relocked when you updated. ONLY the carrier it is locked to can authorize unlocking it. If you are not/never were an AT&T customer and you do not have an original store receipt from either an AT&T or Apple store in the U.S. for a no commitment AT&T iPhone, they will NOT unlock it.
Buy a new phone.
