My 2 year contract is coming to an end, but I love the price I pay and don't want to change plans but do want to upgrade my device. I have the 3 year PEP on my device right now, and want to transfer it over to my new device. I have accumulated Fido Dollars over the years and want to use it towards my new phone. Also, want to price match with what Amazon has to offer.

My iPhone 4S accidentally fell into a very shallow bit of water. The phone was wet, but worked afterwards for a short bit. Now it's not working, so I called and got a replacement phone coming. Same exact phone. Can I use the old Sim card in the new phone without harming anything? I don't know if the sim card got messed up or not, but I had a lot of pictures and messages and my contacts on my phone, and I assume these were on the sim card or am I wrong? I think I had it on the iCloud, I just changed computers and had part of my old computer backed up, where are the default iTunes info saved like the pictures and I know my contacts were backed up cuz I kept getting updated stuff that I wasn't sure about, but it was contacts where some belonged to my wife's contacts....but anyway, if the cloud backed up contacts, it should have grabbed pictures too? Like I asked before, if they were backed up to the computer, is there a default iTunes folder they are saved to? I had a crap load of pictures on there that I usually could really access if I was connected to wi-fi. I turned off my data stuff as I only have 4GB and between me and my 2 kids, we seemed to use up a lot of it. My son would play music from Pandora during work, and use up all our data til I limited him to only 3GB, my daughter and I barely used 1GB. Anyway, thanks to everybody that is answering. I thought I might have done good finding the dang sim card, but pointless I guess.

Sorry guys, I don't know a **** of a lot about cell phones, but I do know about memory cards, but not sim cards that act like memory cards or look like them anyway. What is the purpose of a sim card if I may ask a stupid question since they don't hold any data from my phone stuff. I’m pretty sure Adobe NEVER intended for someone to copy an XMP file from one photo to another outside of LR as a way to replicate settings.   You can make a preset from a photo, as discussed, or if you don’t want to do that, copy-paste the settings from a representative photo that you initially select to one or more new photos. You could have a special LR folder that holds standard photos to copy/paste from. Of course creating a Develop preset from the representative photo is the “normal” way to handle such situations, but maybe you have hundreds of different situations to copy settings from and don’t want to create presets for each one, but I’d argue that you could create a complex folder hierarchy for your presets and still have them findable without that much problem.
As far as the mystery about why some photos show Reset and some show From Metadata, is the Process Version (down in Camera Calibration) of the photo before reading the settings the same between the two situations? And in general, are these virgin photos newly imported into LR or have some been modified in LR, already? Does an XMP file already exist for any of these, where that XMP is being overwritten by your external-to-LR copying? Or do you have auto-write-XMP enabled and your hand-copied XMP is getting overwritten by LR, automatically, before you have a chance to read in anything?

Thanks, varjak, it is too easy to fall into use of jargon assuming everyone understands what it means.
One additional point in all of this, not all "iDevice" apps run on every "iDevice". Some are customized for a specific device, or class of devices such as the iPod/iPhone with their smaller screen. Others for just the iPads for their larger screens. So the user needs to be sure they are getting an app that will work on their specific device.
And to Phoneboone, you do need to purchase the app again if it is for a different class of equipment. When you are looking at apps such as iWorks for the Mac and iWorks components for the iPad, the iPad versions are very inexpensive. Pages is only $10 (US) which is really cheap for such a good word processor that reads and saves in the MS Word format.
Anyway, search for what you need and just enjoy the convenience of so many options for apps.

If you use the same AppleID for iMessage and iCloud though, you will all be sharing the same message account and iCloud email account. You can use a common AppleID for purchased content, but each create your own unique AppleID for iMessage and iCloud so you each have your own private accounts for those services.

Both accounts are completely independent from each other. In order to use the space that you have purchased for your secondary account, you must change it to become your primary account. Yes, as you said, services like photo stream only work with the primary account. Unfortunately, there is no comfortable way to just transfer data from one account to another one, but you can do it via a third party application e.g. via Dropbox: e.g. for photos: photos stored with your current primary account > manual transfer to dropbox > after you made your secondary account to the primary account, transfer the photos back to your new primary account etc.
