I'm finding that CF9 doesn't redirect accurately on pages with hyphen in name

I've just loaded CF9 on a development server and run some sites thatt worked perfectly on CF8.
Here's the problem:

or
<cfheader statuscode="301" statustext="Moved Permanently">
<cfheader name="Location" value="/users/listings/EditListing-2.cfm">

I've been using this page naming format for years in applications where you have step 1, step 2 and so on.
Running either of the above on a page under CF9 redirects to the site root or Index.cfm.
If I change the page name to EditListing2.cfm it works as intended.
Has anyone else had this probelem and do you have an easy fix, apart from renaming many many pages on over 45 websites?
Looking for any ideas.

If you're the same AC I think you are, I've been developing in CF for about
3.5 years longer (since around 1997) however old age and boredom makes one
(me)careless. I just installed CF9 developer version as I always do, bang,
bang, bang without much concentration.
It looks like I erred. I've been thinking about it during the night and I
think maybe you're right, there's a mapping problem.
I'm now deleting the CF9 install and starting again. This time I'll be more
careful.
I jumped to the conclusion of hyphenated file names as being the problem due
to experiences with ASP .Net where I've found it to be a big problem in some
circumstances. I also once had to contract migrate 9 CF4.0 installs to CF
MX6 and ran into lots of obstacles with segmented references due to how JAVA
treated dots.
I pounced on these experiences as the reason, and blamed CF9.
In theory there shouldn't be a problem with CF9, if it worked on CF8.
PS I can't post any of the code as I'm "under non disclosure" on a
government project. If the new install doesn't work, I'll post similar code.

If you are trying to download flash player then you can't - it's not supported and probably never will be (http://www.apple.com/hotnews/thoughts-on-flash/ and Adobe have failed to create a version that works on iOS), and you can't download extensions/plug-ins via Safari anyway (you can only install what is available in the App Store).
The Skyfire, iSwifter, and Puffin browsers work on some flash-based sites (but not judging by their reviews), or you could look to see if the sites have their own apps in the store.

But i really wonder how you did that. did you always switch between design view and preview view, then change the key position for 2px then switch back, to align the four letters? because i imagine that can get really frustrating, if you have a logo consisting of 58 parts instead of 4!:)

The download button as described on the HELP page doesn't appear on the page with my downloadable list of songs. How do you down load a purchase? I have made 3 purchases of the same song and can not down load it and the HELP instructions don't help.

I have made 3 purchases of the same song in an attempt to download it.
Only one of those purchases appears on the page that list purchases available to down load.
I wrote out a copy of the HELP page instructions (the page can't be printed) so I could accurately follow it as I tried to do the down load.
Is there some secret to downloading a purchase or causing the down load button to appear?

I am trying to get my computer to print on HP C310. It was working fine until 2 days ago and then stopped printing. I thought I could uninstall the HP software and download it again comes to find that I cannot now use the disk supplied with the printer.

Your operating system, Snow Leopard (OS X 10.6), does not support AppleTalk. Instead, in Snow Leopard the HP 4000 series printers need to be set up to communicate via IP.
Go to System Preferences and open the Print & Fax item. Is your printer listed in that pane?

Nevermind...just had to do a full reinstall. That means going to firefox folder on my computer, running helper.exe from the uninstall folder, and unchecking the box that lets you save your themes, addons, bookmarks, etc. The reinstalled version works perfectly. Now I just have to find all those addons again...

Looking For A Good Tutorial That Shows How To Redirect A Form Page.

Attached is a mock up of the Home Recipes Page on the site I'm building. When a user clicks on one of the categories (Desserts, Drinks, etc), I want them to be able to go to the Main Page for that category, on which will appear the recipes that have already been posted by them or someone else. Also on the Main Page, I want them to be able to click on a button that takes them to a page on which they can enter a recipe. There are four fields on the "Enter Page;" Recipe Title, Ingredients, Preparation, Serves How Many.
Does anyone know of a good tutorial that would help me accomplish what I'm trying to do, and/or answer some of the questions I have?
1. For the page on which they use to post a recipe (in the process of building this one), is that named something like enterDesserts?
2. For the page on which the already posted recipes appear, do I name it something like postedDesserts?
2.a. I know I'll have to create a container div on the "posted" page for each of the four fields on the "enter" page, but how do I direct the
information that's entered into the proper div?

Preview doesn't remember the last page opened

I have noticed that Preview doesn't remember the last page of the PDF documents after 30 mins of usage (or opening up several PDF files). Is there any way to make Preview always remember the last page of files irrespective of time the file was last used and number of PDF files opened? I think in SL-ML era this was probably the case but since Mavericks it seems to have changed.

Deleting "browser.download.lastDir" makes firefox unusable.
It's very annoying. I'm sick of the update to 3.6. It's getting worse with each minor update.

According to your description, my understanding is that you wanted the redirect to another page once InfoPath form had been closed.
You can add a Content Edit web part above the InfoPath form web part with the following code:

Redirection is not happeing with higher version of Fire Fox (v 2.0.0.17)

We are using sundirectory service (version 6.x) for login authentication via LDAP protocal. On entering the invalid user info on the prelogin page, it should redirect to the prelogin page with an error message, but it's not happening as expected with higher version of firefox(V :2.0.0.17 and above).The user authenticated redirection to prelogin page is happening as expected in IE 6.0 and lower version firefox (V1.0.7).
Could you please confirm whether sundirectory service or SAM supports the higher version of( V :2.0.0.17 and above) fire fox or Latest fire fox features/bug fixes creating the problem.

IPad Skype version doesn't give option to connect with facebook

It's the only account I have and with it I have a phone number. My main computer blew it's hard drive so I was hoping to use Skype through this. Except there is no connection for Facebook anymore and it doesn't allow me to work with my Facebook name and password (no surprise there of course) but I'm not sure how to get in. It's not that it isn't working, it's that the option is just gone. According to my IPad this is the most modern version so I don't think that's it. Amusingly I can log into my account but not Skype from the website like I am on now.

I'm having the same problem. I have tried multiple times over the past 6 months or so and it says I can't log in or that my user name and password are incorrect. I have changed my passwords multiple times all to no avail. I created my accout with facebook as well and wish they would put this option back on the Ipad version.
