I'm getting a tiny little square box with a cross in the middle on some of my Pages documents. How do I get rid of it? It's where I've got a text box.

Why is this tiny little box, less than quarter inch in size, appearing in some of my Pages designs? It has a + in the middle of it.

The cross indicates an overflow of text. Increase the size of the box as needed. Since you didn't indicate that some of the text is missing it may just be an invisible character or that a little more space is needed below the text.

HELP - I just downloaded the update, and now all my keynote slide shows have ugly symbols (sort of a black box with an O in the middle) wherever I clicked 'return' to go down a bullet or to edit text. It does not let me delete these marks

Interesting, Have you tried selecting the text elements and then formatting them so that they are not bulleted? And then reformatting them with a different style bullet so you can see if the black boxes come back with a different style of bullet?
I just made a few small test lists with bullets in Keynote and I have no issues.

What type of account did you set-up on the iPad, POP, IMAP, the items on your iPad could have downloaded off the server or you will need wait awhile for the message to update to the iPad.

I was trying to bookmark a page, using the "Choose" menu in the bookmarks. I must have touched a key by accident, and a box with a blue outline & the name of one of my folders appeared in my bookmark drop-down menu. At first the box contained the folder name, then I was trying to delete the box, and erase the name, thinking it might get rid of the box, but it didn't. I can't get rid of this box! It obstructs the view of what is underneath. It stays in the same position as I scroll up & down in the drop-down menu, and it hides what is underneath. Please help me get rid of this box. I did a search on my system and found the Photoshop has a fastcore plug-in. Creative Cloud includes a subscription version of CS6 version 13.1.2. I do not know if you installed that or not. The cc un-install may have done something. You may need to use Adobe Cleaner then Install The Perpetual CS6 version of Photoshop CS6 version 13.0.6 Mac or Photoshop CS6 version 13.0.1.3 PC and not the subscription CS6 extended version 13.1.2. Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6 If you need to download the CS6 installer Download CS6 products.
You may also be able to recover your cs6 using an old system backup

Try quitting iTunes and restart your iPad.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
You can also try a reset if quitting the app doesn't work.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
