I'm still getting notificaion "dings" even tho I've toggled sound "OFF". Help?

I don't want to hear the "ding" with every email received on three accounts shown. I've individually gone into each account in the Watch app and toggled the sound "OFF" and the haptic "ON". I've restarted both iPhone and Watch. Any thoughts? I don't want to MUTE the watch because I still want the phone and text alerts.

Where exactly did you turn this setting off?

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

Connect your iPod to your computer. If it is set to update automatically you'll get a message that it is linked to a different library and asking if you want to link to this one and replace all your songs etc, press "Cancel". Pressing "Erase and Sync" will irretrievably remove all the songs from your iPod. Your iPod should appear in the iTunes source list from where you can change the update setting to manual and use your iPod without the risk of accidentally erasing it. Also when using most of the utilities listed below your iPod needs to be enabled for disc use, changing to manual update will do this by default. Check the "manually manage music and videos" box in Summary then press the Apply button: Managing content manually on iPod
Once you are safely connected there are a few things you can do to restore your iTunes from the iPod. If you have any iTMS purchases the transfer of purchased content from the iPod to authorised computers was introduced with iTunes 7. The transfer of non iTMS content such as songs imported from CD is designed by default to be one way from iTunes to iPod. However there is a manual method of accessing the iPod's hard drive and copying songs back to iTunes on Windows. If you prefer something more automated then there are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the music files and playlists from your iPod. Whichever of these retrieval methods you choose, keep your iPod in manual mode until you have reloaded your iTunes and you are happy with your playlists etc then it will be safe to return it auto-sync. I would also advise that you get yourself an external hard drive and back your stuff up in case you have problems again. External drives are comparatively inexpensive these days and you can get loads of storage for a reasonable outlay.

Can't open gifs?! I'm getting permissions errors even though I'm the admin. Help!

I assume this is new since upgrading to Mavericks. I'm having all kinds of permissions errors where if I open a file (pdf, gif, jpg, etc) even though I'm logged in as myself, and I'm the admin. I've repaired permissions, but no errors were found. When I click Get Info on a file, it shows that I have permission to read & write. What?! I'm baffled!!!

Back up all data.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership and access-control lists to the default. If you've set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Do so only after verifying that those settings didn't cause the problem. If none of this is meaningful to you, you don't need to worry about it.
I've tested these instructions only with the Safari web browser. If you use another browser, they may not work as described.
Step 1
If you have more than one user account, and the one in question is not an administrator account, then temporarily promote it to administrator status in the Users & Groups preference pane. Good, your Vista will have been collecting additional information about those errors. Fingers crossed, that will give us a heads up on the cause of the problem.
Head into your Problem Reports and Solutions control panel and open your Problem History. Look for recent iTunes problem reports, open them up and have a look through.
Are they pretty much saying the same sort of thing? If so, paste the contents of a typical report into a reply here so we can have a look.

I was using my computer every morning as I do everyday with no issues. I had left home for most of the day. Closed lid and while I was gone for a couple of hours. I returned home, opened my MacBook and nothing but a black screen. I've tried many things all evening try and fix this problem out of "safety sleep mode, and other similiar tricks that other people had tried.
I still have a Black Screen and cannot get my macbook out of what seems to be the sleep mode.
I've done a master reset and after I restart, I do get the power up chime but still a black screen. I don't know what else to do. Please help. Should I bring computer to a local repair shop or is there something I can do to fix myself. I just don't know where to start.

Depends.
First of all I find it absolutely amazing that you have managed to get 3 bad iPods. Where are you buying them from?
Secondly if you have had such abysmally like that with 5g, what make you think your luck with the 4g will be better?
Thirdly, how important is iOS 7 to you. If you don't have need of apps that require it then you should be OK. Having said that I have seen reports that state that developers are finding it to be so much better that more apps will be migrating to it and dropping the older version of iOS.

I keep getting the message that my computer is associated with another apple id. I have already removed the device from the other apple id but I still get the message. How long does it take to update?

I am trying to download a tv show that I purchased and I get the message that my laptop is already associated with another apple id. I knew it was my wifes id so I went into her account and removed the association. I still get this message even though there is no other apple id associated with the laptop now.

That's not how it works. Once a device (including a computer) is associated with an Apple ID it cannot be switched for 90 days. See this Apple KB article for more information: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1420.

Still getting 553 error after verifying email addr...

Even after having verified a new email address using the email sent from BT/Yahoo I still get the 553 Error stating that the email address needs to be verified. I am going around in circles. Anyone else had this problem? I am using Outlook 2010.

You've done pretty much everything, and covered all bases. Indeed my shortcuts (option 0e) which was written before the BT version still contains more and better info that the BT one. Indeed your points 11 and 12 were certainly correct at the time as I had also pointed out.
However the system has indeed altered recently, actually making it easier to verify and delete items.

However I do feel that there are some problems with the system, which may actually manifest itself in the results you are seeing.
