I''ve got version 7.6.4, currently. I have checked in Software Update, which said that I was up to date.
According to the Wikipedia chart, you areas up-to-date as you can get with OS X.4.11

I installed the latest version of iTunes but when I went to sync my iPod I got error message -50 and my iPod would not sync. I tried re-installing the most recent version of iTunes but this made no difference. I then tried installing an old version of iTunes but it would not install. I am furious because I bought music via iTunes store and I cannot get it to load onto my iPod. Can anyone help? Or can anyone give me a direct email address for iTunes support? I have been going round and round on Apple's stupid website and cannot find any help or an email address.
Quit iTunes, reboot your PC, restart the iPad and then try again.
Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. -
Problems uninstalling the latest version of Quicktime Player
I use firefox browser and am running Windows XP Home on my PC. I installed the software on the firefox web site and it included Quick time and I tunes combined. When the Quick time program would open it would product no sound and I would see a large Q on the screen. So I attempted to uninstall both applications starting with Quick time first then Itunes. Now everytime I am online and go from one web page to another I get a system sound and a message that says "Quick time Unavailable" The quick time plug in requires the quick time system extension on version 5 or later. I cant use my system with this happening. I have made sure all shortcuts are gone and that the programs have been uninstalled. I even looked in Windows explorer to see if any portion of the program was left behind. I dont know how to remove what ever seems to be still there to correct this error from coming up at every turn. Can you please advise me as to what I can do about this.
If you are unable to view the videos using QuickTime X (version 10.0), go into your Utility Folder and try playing the videos on QuickTime 7 (version 7.6.6).

Latest version of QuickTime player?
Probably a silly question but what is the latest version of QuickTime Player. I have two versions on my Mac running 10.8.3. I created a movie in iMovie v9.0.8 and shared it as a QuickTime movie. Opened it in QuickTime player so I could export to the web. It ended up with a force quit after QT Player stopped responding. I used QT Player 10.2. I then discovered I had another version in the Utilities folder v7.6.6. This one worked. I have the Pro key.
I now see mention of a v7.7. Software update kicks me over to the Apps Store which doesn't seem to have QT Player.
I have Perian installed and my guess is that Persian needs/installed QT Player v10.2.
Which do I zip and delete? Thanks. DavidIt is strange. I thought 10.x might be the more recent but it also locked up when I tried to the web export. I ran into the no autoplay issue with the webpage so I'll need to look elsewhere to replace a Flash gallery... oh well. Looks like there are probably JS option that might work.

If you run into the "another installation" message even after the reboot of the PC (which is an excellent idea by HTP ProXy), reregistering your Windows Installer Service is worth a try.
First, launch a command prompt as an administrator. In your Start search, type cmd then right-click on the cmd that comes up and select "Run as administrator".
At the command prompt:
Type %windir%\system32\msiexec.exe /unregister and hit enter.
Type %windir%\syswow64\msiexec.exe /unregister and hit enter.
Type %windir%\system32\msiexec.exe /regserver and hit enter.
Type %windir%\syswow64\msiexec.exe /regserver and hit enter.
Restart the PC and try another reinstalll. -
I am trying to download the latest version of iTunes to my PC (windows XP) and I keep getting an error message or two. One is that it can't uninstall the previous itunes version, the other is that it can't find itunes.msi. I have tried removing the old version in add/remove programs, but it says the same error. I tried deleting every thing that has itunes in the file/folder/etc and it didn't help.
(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time? -
When trying to downlead the latest version of iTunes, I got 2 errors:

You see this screen when you right-click on the ItunesSetup.exe in your Downloads folder.
downloads>ItunesSetup.exe (right-click)>yourself as admin & UNCHECK THAT BOX!> conntinue with new installation and even find your old playlists still intact!!
This is apparently a Windows XP fix alone. MSVCR80.dll is (probably) reinstalled by Itunes under a partnership aggreement with Microsoft.
Using the Microsoft "Fix It" utility at http://support.microsoft.com/mats/program_install_and_uninstall/en does NOT fix anything. Abandon All Hope Ye Who Run This Utility More Than Once -

This is a copy of ONEof the keys in the registry I changed as told by Apple support today. I also have changed others as instructed by GEAR software support to manually delete GEAR drivers (that I had installed but couldn't delete some of the others they mentioned from Windows system 32. Then some bright spark at work told me I need the Gear drivers so I downloaded the software and installed again.

I'm using an iMac with the newest OS X Yosemite. I tried to reinstall Creative Cloud, removed all the programs. But I still get the 'old' 2014 version with the Lionhead, not the Sunglasses (october 2014) with interactive libraries. I use Adobe iPad apps, for instance Adobe Brush, Adobe Shape and Adobe Color and it's so great to have all the things you make with these apps in your Illustrator & Photoshop libraries. Somehow it worked om my laptop, but not om my home computer.

After installing the latest version of IOS my iPhone 4s rapidly runs out of power, it also suddently (fully charged) shuts down and restarts without me asking for it. I tried to reinstall the latest version of IOS but it doesnt help. Any advice?
Backup and restore your software via iTunes. If the problem continues, restore as a NEW device. If this solves it, that means there is some corruption in your backup file. If the problem is still there, you should take it to the Genius Bar at an Apple Store for evaluation.
