I'm trying to run 2 group ports on PXI-6534
I am trying to setup 2 groups on the PXI-6534 with handshaking. Group1, ports 0/1 work fine with some external logic (a clocked 74HCT74).
Group2, ports 2/3 won't initialize Ack2. An identical circuit as with group1 is being used.
What am I doing wrong?

Hey Scott,
I took a look at the example, and I am seeing some problems with ACK 2, even with changing polarity. To be honest, I am not sure what is causing this.
I will be OOO for the next week, but I have filed a report with R&D. Hopefully I will have some more information to post when I get back.
If you would like to try something, you could downgrade to NI-DAQ 6.9.3 and see if this version will work better. I did my testing in 7.2 and still saw the error.

Did anybody face this problem with this sample? Can somebody help me out
with this. I am also looking for some basic ways of developing a PIP using
Rosettanet. Is there is any site that gives such information. I have seen
the BEA site on rosettanet. That does not help me.

Error 403 when trying to run a web application
I am trying to run a web application(J2EE and velocity) that works perfectly fine on Tomcat but doesn't work on weblogic. I was initially getting a nullpointer error but I got rid of it when I removed xercesImpl.jar from my application's library folder and repackaged the war file. However, when I try to run the application now, I get the following error:-

The application has been deployed successfully but I am unable to run it using the link generated in the testing tab. The application. I was wondering if there is any workaround for this error.The testing link is using, the host:port/contextroot. Note that the URL is per default not accessible and give justly the 403 forbidden error.

I am trying to run OpenSparc with vcs in FPGA mode. The command I used is

The Diag I used is bypass_win.s The status.log shows it failed
When I remove FPGA option the diag pass.
Can anyone please let me know which diag I should use in FPGA mode.
I wanted to remove latches so I use FPGA_SYN. Also, is it necessary to run FPGA using script rsynp.
Can I synthesize the design other than Simplicity.

Every time I sign into my Macbook, I get an error message from Automator; "The data couldn't be read because it has been corrupted.". I have never created an Automator workflow. How do I find out what Automator is trying to run and stop it?
Maybe it's set as a login item:
- System Preferences: Users and Groups:
- Highlight your user account in the left pane/list
- Click "Login" tab at the top.
See if you have an Automater action on the list
- Note, you can select it, then right-click, and can then select "Reveal in Finder". That way you might have an idea what installed it. -

Hi,
I am trying to run Sun Java Studio and entered the Tutorial "Developing a Web Application". I have tried to do this twice. steps
1. drage test field and name it
2, drag a label and name it
3. drage abutton and name it
4. Drage static text and name it
5. Double click button and enter "helloText.setText("Hello, "+name+"!");
6. try to build and run
These two error appear

I could not reproduce your problem.The tutorial "Developing a Web Application" works fine for me.

I'm getting error when trying to run demo Serial code
I'm trying to test out the demo of labview to see if we are going to upgrade. I am trying to access the serial ports since we used to do that before, but I'm having no luck with any of the demo code. When I run Serial Communication.vi, it keeps giving me an error. All other demo's I have tried give errors as well, although I don't know if it is the same one. I do not have any conflicts with my com ports, yet I get a -1073807202 err code. Here is the text I get in the error box.
Property Node in VISA Configure Serial Port (Instr).vi->Serial Communication.vi
Any help to get me started? I haven't used labview seriously for about 4-5 years with vers 5.0.
I have win2k in case that makes a difference.

sMake sure that NI-VISA or the NI-VISA Run-Time Engine is installed on the computer. This error suggests that NI-VISA is not installed, or there is a problem with the installation. To remedy this, uninstall any existing versions of NI-VISA on the machine. Then, either reinstall the same version of NI-VISA, or upgrade to the latest version of NI-VISA (linked below).

Trying to run a JSF page whose output i am getting from a Web Service

I am trying to run a JSF page containing a simple button and a outputText. On clicking the button ,the outputText field is populated with a value from a web service.
This page sometimes it runs fine else, on pressing the button nothing happens. In the message log it gives the following error:

I am using port 8888. Actually in one of the demos , it is mentioned to use 8988. But using that it was giving the above error previously. But using 8888 it works sometimes , but sometimes it is not working.

and one index.jsp in the path jsfHello/
The index.jsp just forwards the control to the page inputName.jsp

When I try to access the application as below I can see the corresponding pages and it corresponding navigation:

Webutil Error when trying to run excel report from Oracle form
I am trying to run an excel report from a oracle from but it throws me following error:

please check if you did not generate plx and if u did not create db packages please create the webutil user and create db packages.

Solution
Assuming a fresh "Complete" install of Oracle Developer Suite 10.1.2.0.2,
here are steps to get a small test form running, using WebUtil 1.06.
Note: [OraHome] is used as an alias for your real oDS ORACLE_HOME.
Feel free to copy this note to a text editor, and do a global find/replace on
[OraHome] with your actual value (no trailing slash). Then it is easy to
copy/paste actual commands to be executed from the note copy.
1) Download http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/jacob-project/jacob_18.zip
and extract to a temporary staging area. Do not attempt to use 1.7 or 1.9.
2) Copy or move jacob.jar and jacob.dll
[JacobStage] is the folder where you extracted Jacob, and will end in ...\jacob_18
cd [JacobStage]
copy jacob.jar [OraHome]\forms\java\.
copy jacob.dll [OraHome]\forms\webutil\.
The Jacob staging area is no longer needed, and may be deleted.
3) Sign frmwebutil.jar and jacob.jar
Open a DOS command prompt.
Add [OraHome]\jdk\bin to the PATH:
set PATH=[OraHome]\jdk\bin;%PATH%
Sign the files, and check the output for success:
[OraHome]\forms\webutil\sign_webutil [OraHome]\forms\java\frmwebutil.jar
[OraHome]\forms\webutil\sign_webutil [OraHome]\forms\java\jacob.jar
4) If you already have a schema in your RDBMS which contains the WebUtil stored code,
you may skip this step. Otherwise,
Create a schema to hold the WebUtil stored code, and privileges needed to
connect and create a stored package. Schema name "WEBUTIL" is recommended
for no reason other than consistency over the user base.
Open [OraHome]\forms\create_webutil_db.sql in a text editor, and delete or comment
out the EXIT statement, to be able to see whether the objects were created witout
errors.
Start SQL*Plus as SYSTEM, and issue:
CREATE USER webutil IDENTIFIED BY [password]
DEFAULT TABLESPACE users
TEMPORARY TABLESPACE temp;
GRANT CONNECT, CREATE PROCEDURE, CREATE PUBLIC SYNONYM TO webutil;
CONNECT webutil/[password]@[connectstring]
@[OraHome]\forms\create_webutil_db.sql

Open webutil.pll, do a "Compile ALL" (shift-Control-K), and generate to PLX (Control-T).
It is important to generate the PLX, to avoid the FRM-40039 discussed in
Note 303682.1
If the PLX is not generated, the Webutil.pll library would have to be attached with
full path information to all forms wishing to use WebUtil. This is NOT recommended.
8) Create a new FMB.
Open webutil.olb, and Subclass (not Copy) the Webutil object to the form.
There is no need to Subclass the WebutilConfig object.
Attach the Webutil.pll Library, and remove the path.
Add an ON-LOGON trigger with the code
NULL;
to avoid having to connect to an RDBMS (optional).
Create a new button on a new canvas, with the code
show_webutil_information (TRUE);
in a WHEN-BUTTON-PRESSED trigger.
Compile the FMB to FMX, after doing a Compile-All (Shift-Control-K).
9) Under Edit->Preferences->Runtime in Forms Builder, click on "Reset to Default" if
the "Application Server URL" is empty.
Then append "?config=webutil" at the end, so you end up with a URL of the form
http://server:port/forms/frmservlet?config=webutil

I've tried different mice and usb ports.I contacted HP support and was instructed to do several things to the mouse and pointer, nothing helps. I installed in usb port in the rear of the computer that helped for a short time, then it went back to jumping around. So what else can I try. Thanks
I have to admit I am baffled. I understand and have seen the issue happen on laptops before, but for the issue to be happening on a desktop strange. I can even understand a wireless mouse, however yours is wired.
Microsoft has a tool called Mr Fix it. It scans the problem area and attempts to fix whatever is wrong. It's worth the shot in this case to see if it helps resolve the mouse issue.
Tips for solving problems with USB devices
