I'm trying to update my Mac book pro to 11.0 and I get an error message at end of attempt.  The message says 'the update java os 10.6 update 15 can't be saved.  Update could not be verified .  May have been corrupted during downloading. '.  Any ideas?

Question typed in subject space.  Sorry!

Hi there Amy,
You may want to take a look at the article titled "Troubleshooting Mac OS X installation and software updates (Mac OS X v10.6 and earlier)"
There is a specific section that includes this information:
Software Updates for Mac OS X and Apple applications for Mac OS X are often available in different ways:
Software Update preferences
Standalone installer from Apple Downloads.
Try getting the software from a different source, or download it again.
Hope that helps,
- Griff W.
