I have a selection screen. I have three radi buttons in that selection screen. Based on the selection of the radio buttons I need to activate corresponding selection screen parameters.
e.g : if radiobutton1 is selected, njo activation needed,
       if radiobutton2 is selected, activate selection screen parameter p_one,
       if radiobutton3 is selected, activate selection screen parameter p_two.
All three radiobuttons are attached to the same radio button group.

Need Different Selection screen for different Queries in a Workbook

Hi,
I have created a workbook with Multiple tabs in BI 7.0. Each Tab has different Queries and each query has different Selection screens (Variable Selections).
When i open the workbook and refresh it, the selection screen is appearing only for one query. All the queries are refreshed by this single selection screen, though each query has different Variable selections. What i need is a seperate selection screen i.e seperate Variable selection appearing for each queries, when i refresh each one of them.
Is it possible to do this? If anybody has tried this, help me in solving this issue. Thanks for ur time.

If you un-check the 'Display Duplicate Variables Only Once' this WILL solve your problem.
When you Refresh, you should be presented with a single variable selection dialog box, but it should contain an area for each Query (DataProvider) that is embedded in the Workbook.
This is the case if the queries are all on the same tab, or on different tabs.
However, if you have multiple tabs each with a query on it, each query must have it's own DataProvider. If all queries are based on the same DataProvider, it will not work as the Workbook only 'sees' one Query for which it needs variable input.
If you REALLY want multiple variable selection dialog boxes, then maybe the best way to do this is to have the queries in separate Workbooks.
If you don't want the User to have to open 5 queries manually, you could use a Macro in each Workbook that runs on opening, to open the next Workbook in the sequence.
I hope this makes sense!

Logic needed in selection screen

hi experts,
in a selection screen i have one field S_budat ( it contains the range ) the user enters the date in it .the problum is we need to check the following condition .
if sy-datum> s_budat+13 months if it is ok we need get the values from the archive db else r/3 data .but in the mean while we have to check residency limit ( for ex: the data is archived till 22-03-2007. but in the selection screen the user entered the range 20-2-2006 to 24-5-2007 this falls in the both .so for this how to write the logic .till 22-03-2007 we have to take the data from the archive DB after thatwe have to take online data )

You can check whether the Achive date lies between the range.
If it does, then create 2 records in the select-option table
1) from s_budat-low to arcive date
2) from archive date to s_budat-high.
Now you can do 2 selects 1 on archived tables , other on R/3 data using these 2 date ranges.
For the 2nd select , you can use the "appending" addition in the select statement

Option 1: Based on Open delivery
The following are the input fields:
In which Delivery types and dates are mandatory

Selection Screen are used for the program reports. These allows you to input some values that are required to show the desired output.
for example : you want to show the list of sales orders between 1000 to 1999, you would write a select query as this (to make u understand better)
select vbeln from vbak into it_vbeln
             where vbeln GE 1000 " greater than or equal to
               and vbeln LE 1999. " less than or equal to
now if you wnat to do it dynamically, you need a selection screen
tables : vbak. " declaration
selection-screen : begin of block block1 with frame title text-003.
select-options : so_vbeln for vbak-vbeln. " selection range from __ to __
selection-screen : end of block block1.
now you can write the same select query as
select vbeln from vbak into it_vbeln

How to hide the selection-screen Begin of Block

Hi,
I copied the standard program into my new 'Z' prog.
But i dont need a selection-screen begin of block and end of block i.e. I have to hide the entire block from the output screen.
I can delete the selction-screen block , but the field which is present inside the block is used in several places of program
and i dont know the purpose of the fields.
Can any one help me to hide the block.

Use keyword NO-DISPLAY with the select options or parameter which u want to hide in the selection screen.
No need to comment statements Begin of block or end of block.

Submit via selection-screen - Return automatically

Hello so far I have a code ....
<b> SUBMIT (p_pname) EXPORTING LIST TO MEMORY AND RETURN
USING SELECTION-SET p_vname.</b>
Now what this does is self explanatory. Afterwards I just write the list to the program with the submit statment.
However, instead of using a variant. I would like to have an option that it goes to the selection-screen where the user can input the parameters and return back to the original program afterwards.
When I tried this ...
<b>SUBMIT (p_pname) VIA SELECTION-SCREEN
EXPORTING LIST TO MEMORY AND RETUR</b>
What happens is that it goes to the selection-screen, but stays in that program which I submitted and sends the report there. Its only when I press the back button is when it Exports list to memory.
As mentioned my desired process is that after the selection-screen process is done. You return back and the report is generated there. Thank you every one and good day.

As you need the selection screen of the calling program, unless you exit out of the report, its not going to come out of the program. Once the program is displayed, you will hav explicity come out of it.

I need your help in AT SELECTION SCREEN OUTPUT event. My issue is i have 4 radio button and with each radio button couple of parameters that need to be filled in selection screen of report. My requirement is that sometimes user enters details in second radio button parameters but forgot to change the radio button to second one so kindly suggest a solution so that radio button gets selected as per user input in parameter like if user clicks on certain parameter to enter value then automatically corresponding radio button gets selected.

Need to restrict selection screen entries in logical database in HR report

After creating custom HR Report Category using Logical database, I need to restrict the options available in the in the selection Screen
for example- for company code i m getting 182 entries, but after running the program, selection-options for company code, i need only first 3 entries, don't want remailing entries
how can i do this?

Need help to disable input selection-screen - very urgent

I have a requirement where in I need to disable ( Grey out ) the input fileds on the selection screen .
My problem is as I am using ABAP query I am not able to use any events ( AT SELECTION-SCREEN OUTPUT ).
My selection screen looks like this
MATERIAL NUMBER ( SELECT-OPTIONS)
MATERIAL TYPE ( PARAMETERS )
Now I want to add one more check box below the above fields on the selection-screen.When I click on the check-box,the MATERIAL NUMBER must be greyed out and MATERIAL TYPE should remain the same.

                     I have a requirement, that need to show a pop up window after execution, and to get the action from user using a Push button.
I create a selection screen and a sub screen as window.
After user execute from the selection screen, I am popping up this window.
Window contains some input values to be entered and push button to identify the user action.
I try to capture the user action using sy-ucomm, but it does not hold any value when user press the button.
How to overcome this issue.
