I Need BAPI to get partners, product, Product category in CRM

Hi Experts,
I need bapi to get all partner detials, All product detials, all product category details.
I found one bapi(BAPI_CRM_PRODUCT_GETLIST) to get product.But we should give the product category as import field. But i need with out any input should generate all product details. These bapi we will use in crm to create Opportunity.
Please any one help me...........

For costing report, you have to read the following tables: based on material Qty/value/ Machine rate and machine posting date , machine rate ( T-code kp26) and also types of material Raw, finished and semi finished ..
AFRU ,AFPO,AFKO,AFVV,AFVC,CAUFV FOR PRODUCTION ORDER.
For material calculation MARA, MSEG and MKPF as well as MAKT...

Not able to maintain a component description in product category in CRM SER

Working on best practices and got some problem in maintaining a component description in services specilization . The t code is IB52 where i have to maintain the field description for products with Field Name and Field Value but these tab are only not visible . Kindly help me in this regard.

You may copy and paste the phrase in Japanese into the description field. We at few occasions maintained even Material Master Description in two Language i.e. English + Chinese within same field.

Since You are already a SD Consultant, We assume you are very much familliar with SAP and for you CRM will also be not a big Deal.
Customer Relationships Management (CRM) is a model for managing any Organization's interaction with current and future customers. It involves technology to organize, automate and synchronize SALES, SERVICES(postsales) AND MARKETING(presales).
First of all you need to get SAP CRM installed in your system and then you need to get command over Account and Contact Management (Business Partner). The same can be learned using WebUI or GUI. From GUI the transaction launcher is WUI then web page opens up enter your credentials and select Role - Salespro. Open the Account and Contact section and do some R&D and you can learn. But in GUI you need to go to SPRO -> IMG -> Cross Application Components -> SAP Business Partner -> Business Partner -> Basic Settings -> Number Ranges & Groupings -> Define Number Ranges. Here you have defined number range then you need to assign to some group created from SPRO same way. And Finally maintain Business Partner using Tcode - BP.
Then You Learn Organizational Management which allows us to map our marketing, sales, service structure maintaining company's structure including the position and Employees in an Application and assign specific attributes to the otganizational units.
Path: SPRO -> IMG -> CRM -> Master Data -> Organizational Management -> Organizational Model -> Create Org Model/Change org model.
Just Go ahead and with some more R&D in the system and taking of F1 Help of SAP Documentation I think you can easily learn SAP CRM.

Product category not available error in SAP CRM 7.0

hi Gurus,
while i try creating opportunity transaction, there under product tab when i enter product category(as we maintian product category and not product) and pass on other data and finally press enter ..i get error "product category "3lAA" not available" same for other category. even when i try F4 help only very few categories it shows, not all.
but then i went back and checked for category and hierarchy in CRM system ..it is showing all there and it is downloaded form R/3 system.
Can you please tell me what all places i can check..? or what is missing ?

Hi,
I believe all the categories which you are viewing currently in the pop up are from a single hierarchy ( Most probably R3PRODHIER). And the categories which you are looking for is probably from a different hierarchy ( R3MATCLAS, R3PRODSTYP etc.).
By standard, for sales applications only R3PRODHIER is supported. Please have a look at the IMG path Cross-Application Component->SAP Product-> Product Category->Assign Category Hierarchy to Applications, where you can verify this. If you are so particular about using categories from a different hierarchy you might need to change this setting - I am not sure about other implications that can cause if you change that like downloading from R/3 etc.

Help with product category assignment please

Hi experts,
I need to do a modificacion in my R3 downloaded products to CRM. Because a
product catalog fulfitment, I need to modify the assigned product hierarchy
in CRM but I don't know where can I do it this mapping between an R3 product
hierarchy and CRM product hierarchy.
I explain, if product A belongs in R3 to product category A, I need to modify
this assignment in CRM, for exmaple, product A in CRM will belong to product category
B.
Modifications/creations on product master are only downloaded to CRM, never upload
from CRM to R3.
Any help in this issue please? Is possible to get a behaviour like this?

Hi Javier,
You can always do a RFC data upload of the changed product from CRM to R/3. I guess you do know how to trigger a OLTP data transfer in product master maintenance transaction COMMPR01.

Product category mandatory in the shopping cart ?

Hi everybody,
We are studying shopping carts functionalities in SRM in activating ECS.
We are not using articles, but only product categories. We would like to know if the product category is necessary mandatory in the shopping cart? Indeed, if the shopping cart is related to a simple customer need, the information of the product category is not always known by the requester. He would fill only the description of the request.

Product category (Material Grops) is mandatory for any shopping cart creation, However in SRM some of the basic configuration setting is based on product category only. Mainly the G/L account is mapped with product categories which is important for account validation in the shopping cart.

Issue in Product Category regd Set Types

Hi,
I am customizing Product Category ( for CRM 5.0 standalone) for Material using Building Block guides. I have created root hierarchy and category as described. Now I want to create category for Sales products using the root category. While creating this category the BB guide states following customization steps
Basic Data on Category
Product Type     Material
Product / Object Assignment Possible
Product / Object Maintenance: Control Fields
Can Maintain Documents (Click this)
Can Maint. Conditions (click this)
But in my case I am not able to see following in Product / Object Maintenance: Control Fields section (following 2 controls)
Can Maintain Documents
Can Maint. Conditions
Because of this I am not able to get Set types COMM_PR_UNIT, COMM_PR_LGTEXT1, and COMM_PR_SHTEXT
Pl provide guidance and assist this is quite urgent.

1. You have created a hierarchy...
2. you have cretad a root category...say CRM_PROD
3. check whether you have created a sub category under the root category.
    to do that... Please click on CRM_PROD.. right click and create category..
then we can see the

Punchout Catalog product category - Default product category mapped

Hi,
Currently we are getting default product category even though punchout catalog is sending different prooduct categories?
We are using UNSPSC categoires and even punchout categories also same but default product category is coming not the punch out product category. Please note that if i click on Describe requirement then one default product category is coming up so same product category is coming for punch out catalog items.
Can you please give me some idea how this is picking up.

This fm is used to read the order's and lt_products will return produst used in the order.
If you want to get the product category use the FM:CRM_WAP_PRODUCT_GET_CATEGORY
