- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

Try starting Aperture with the command and option keys held down. You'll get 3 options.
Try each, starting at the top, in order, checking after each to see if it fixes the issue.

I am having similar issues except that the store starts to load, then stops, then I only get iTunes Store in gray letters on a white screen. I can access playlist and the other stuff. Like flamesgirl, I contacted them and they just keep sending me links of stuff to try which I had already seen on the Apple website and nothing works. I posted the question on another forum I belong to and one responder said her husband was in an Apple store and asked about this problem as he was having the same issue. They said an update would be coming out soon as they were aware of the problem. Who knows.

sorry I wrote before but forgot to edit it.Since I came home 3 weeks ago from surgery. I can be on any site especially on facebook playing games and it goes white completely with out warning so I have to restart my computer again to get back especially on facebook.I play alot of games on there and other things.No matter if I'm chatting .ect on any of my sites the page goes completely white.I get a message to upgade to mazolla firefox 5 but will not except some of my sites like replayer,ect.. so I keep putting it to ask me again in 7 days. I bought my iPod off of amazon just around the end of January of this year (2012). Last night I was playing around on my iPod. Listening to pandora, and editing pictures. I got to a picture and clicked edit, and then my iPod shut off. It rebooted itself and seemed to be running as if nothing had happened. I put my music back on and went back to the picture and tried to edit it again. I clicked the edit button and the ipod shut off again. This time, it kept rebooting. It went to the apple symbol to turn on and about thirty seconds, the time it normally takes to turn on, the whole screen went white and then shut off and tried rebooting again. It kept doing this over and over again. After a while, it did eventually stop, but only to a completely white screen. It was like that all night long because I fell asleep. (gave up on it). It is now the afternoon and after I held the lock button and the home button down the screen when off. I let it sit for about a half an hour, then I tried turning it on again. But it still is doing the same thing. I have no idea what I could have done to make it do this. Unfortunalty, I am not home to connect it to my own iTunes, but regaurdless, it wont even connect to the computer. I did have my ipod plugged in the whole time it was rebooting and shutting off last night. It was connected to my wall jack which normally works fine. But even having it plugged into the computer as it is now, its still doing the same thing. I am dissapointed that I might end up loosing everything that I have on it. I have not been able to sync it to my computer to save all the apps and pictures and music I have stored on it. I really do hope I can get some help or advice!

The Firefox browser doesn't run on the iPhone or iPad or iPod Touch. There is a Firefox Home app, but it isn't a browser.

Since doing iOS 7 update I can't send or receive iMessages and when I try to activate it just keeps saying check network settings. I have done a network reset both via wifi and 3G yet still no joy. Frustrated please help

iPads only support iMessage. You cannot send SMS with any of the native iOS functionality on it. There may be some apps in the app store that will, and certainly several messaging platforms (but read the descriptions carefully).

I have a 4th gen white iTouch and I use iMessage alot. Sometimes the messages on there won't send and I don't know why. Today I clicked on
"Reset All Settings", because last time I did that, the iMessage started working again. But today it locked me out on the startup screen that shows when you first get the iPod. Everything went good except that when I go into "Photos", not all of them show up, and it says it "Dowloading 74 of 136". It has been saying that for the past three hours and I had to delete all my photos and it still won't stop saying that. and right now, iMessage isn't working again. I also deleted my account on iCloud because it just messed my iPod up even more. How exactly does iCloud work? And please, in simple terms.

All software has bugs. Try closing the Camera app via the phone's taskbar and do a soft-reset of your phone, and/or update to the iOS 8.2 which was released yesterday).
Closing an app : Force an app to close in iOS - Apple Support
Soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a reboot.
