I am trying to download Firefox on my apple phone 3. I currently open email, web in safari, I also need Firefox to open certain email. When I try to download it keeps saying safari cant download. I dont understand why? Hope you can help!

The Firefox browser doesn't run on the iPhone or iPad or iPod Touch. There is a Firefox Home app, but it isn't a browser.

I downladed a game then i bought some gold on the game using a credit card. Now when I try to retrieve the gold it says I have to verify then download it. It will not let me. Any suggestions?
I was receiving the same error message yesterday, which said There was a problem downloading "The Song Name / Album / Artist". The file seems to be corrupted. To redownload the file, choose "Check for Available Downloads" from the Store menu. The file tries to download five times before this error message appears.
I too, tried to find the file and delete it, but it was no where to be found.
So I gave up for that moment and tried again today and I was able to successfully download the file. Amazing how that works!!! -

I get Error 20 when I try to download updates for installed Apple apps on my IMac. I have two users on the IMac, and I resolve the problem by clearing all cookies on both users Safari, opening and closing the App Store for each user, shutting down and restarting the IMac for each user, until finally the download works. There must be an easier way. I also have an Air, where I have no problems whatsoever. Both machines have Doorstop and MacKeeper with the same settings, so I have ruled those programs out as the cause. I believe iot is because I have two users - any ideas?
Please read this whole message and be sure you understand all of it before doing anything. Back up all data before making changes to your settings.
Write down the server addresses.
Click Cancel to close the Advanced sheet. Unlock the preference pane, if necessary, by clicking the lock icon in the lower left corner and entering your password. Open the DNS tab again and change the server addresses to the following:
8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4
That's Google DNS. Click OK, then Apply.
In Safari, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data
and confirm. If you’re using another browser, empty the cache. Test. Any difference?
Notes:
1. If you lose Internet access after making the above change to your network settings, delete the Google servers in the Network preference pane, then select the TCP/IP tab and click Renew DHCP Lease. That should restore the original DNS settings; otherwise restore them yourself.
2. I’m not advocating Google or anything else as a DNS provider; the server addresses are offerred merely for testing purposes. There may be privacy and technical issues involved in using that service, which you should investigate personally before you decide whether to keep the settings. Other public DNS services exist. -

I want to use Back to my mac. When I try to turn it on, it says "Back to my mac may be slow because more than one device on your network is providing network services. Does anyone know how I do this? I contacted my ISP (Telus in Canada) and they did not know anything (not that they usually do).Why do ISPs insist upon making things so difficult for their customers?

... but these may or may not work. Try it, and if you cannot get anywhere at least now you know what to ask Telus to do in return for your business. -
I keep getting this error when I try to download apps or songs : MZCommerce.CreditBalance Mismatch.Mobile_message Can someone tell me how to get rid of this? It is very aggravating when trying to use the IPAD.
Try to go to Settings and then Store. Tap to your Apple ID and select View Apple ID. Now choose to check your payment information and when you're done tap Done. I had to rewrite my three digit code of the credit card and now it works.
Oh, I also activated Genius for Apps but I don't think it makes any difference. -
I get this message when I try to download purchased music, never seen it before, never had a problem before.
"you do not have enough access privelages for this operation"
This computer is authorized, auoto download is enabled and I can download on my ipad without a problem.

If you are getting this error message just when attempting to download previously purchased music (new purchases work fine), and it's only occuring on the computer (redownloads on the iPad work fine), it may be a permissions issue. I used to have my old work e mail address as my Apple ID but have now changed it to my new one, had all of the verification e mails and everything. However, when I try to download or update my apps, my original ID comes up and I can't log in. Can't remember my original passowrd and can't have a reminder sent to the original e mail as it no longer exists..... help!
Any content is tied to the account that you used to buy/download it - so if you created a new account as opposed to updating the existing one, then you will need to use the old account to download updates to its apps. Can you not update your old account so as to have a new email address on it (e.g. via this page) ?

Storage says there's 46.34GB free but when I try to download things, I'm apparently at capacity. I'm erasing the free space now in the hopes that that helps, but there is still the problem of 66.75GB of "other" listed in storage that I want to take care of. Any help is appreciated!
Chris , thanks for the prompt reply. The dvd was produced by a third party that I found on line . I had a number of old mini digital video cassettes from a Sony Handycam. I can play the DVD's on my laptop but I can't edit them on iMovies to delete a lot of the rubbish on them. I have five DVD's and three downloaded without any problem but the last two are according to iMovies non importable.

Also when I try to open an app it tells me to sign into iTunes and activate push notifications and it pops up everytime I open any app, and no app tells me I have any notifications I true checking to see if I was signed out but I'm signed in I'm clueless in what to do, and apps suck as snap cat the message comes up every second so I can't even do anything with that app
iPads only support iMessage. You cannot send SMS with any of the native iOS functionality on it. There may be some apps in the app store that will, and certainly several messaging platforms (but read the descriptions carefully).

I am using EI 10 and Norton. It will allow me to download iTunes, but not update. I cannot dowload apps from iTunes. Same error message.

I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:

If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer? -
This happens every time and it always happened when it's processing the file and everything else downloads fine like apps etc but this is the only problem i have. I tried things like increasing the amount of space available on my pc but nothing seems to work. Please help me as I've had my ipod for about 8 months now and haven't been able to update a single time
