Basic troubleshooting steps clearly outlined in the User Guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new device.
Have you tried ALL the recommended troubleshooting steps yet?

Now to get the previous date i.e 1 day back date

Palm desktop software moves data one day back
Using Palm Desktop 4.6, the calendar data moved one back one day. Thanksgiving is now on Wednesday along with all my calendar data.
I downloaded and upgraded to Palm Desktop 6.2 and, of course, that did not correct the problem.
I also HotSyncec with my Z22 and now the dates on it are also off by one day. Can I fix this or do I have to do each day manually? Thanks, Tom
Post relates to: Palm Z22The same thing has happened to us. We don't sync with any device, but have changed computers, so are just transferring data from Palm Desktop on one computer to another (exported a file, put it on a flash drive, and then imported it). THe strange thing is that it doesn't move all the dates back one day, just some of them. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to which ones. And we noticed that it just dropped one all together.
Looked at one of the dates that was moved. It is a repeat (a birthday). And when you look at the details of the repeat, the date is changed and where on the initial computer there was no end date, on the new computer it has put an end date.
The desktop software is Pal Desktop by ACCESS, version 6.2.2

However, unfortunately there is NO database backup available i.e. export/expdp/OS Backup/RMAN/Flashback. But, the requirement is to prepare another database on another server with one day back state. So, can we take fresh backup of the database which has all the archived logs, and restore it on another server as one day back previous state.
Is there any possible way to do this by using existing archive logs? Can LogMiner help in this regard?

Technically you could get lucky - but I wouldn't want to pretend that the following procedure is sensible or a safe way to back out a production system.
If you have all the archived redo logs since the moment you want to get back to then you could, in principle, copy the database, run up logminer and extract all the UNDO_SQL that it gives you from the present back to the point in time you want to get to. You can then apply this, one transaction at a time, in reverse order of original application.
Problems I can think of:
<ul>
a) It's likely to take a long time to do this, and you'll probably want to have a lot of manual control and checking.
b) If you've done any drop tables or truncate tables in the interval you can't reverse them out.
c) If you've done any nologging dataloads you won't be able to reverse those out
d) There may be some data types that logminer won't cope with
</ul>
Other people may like to supply more reasons why this is not a good idea for a production system - but it might just be good enough to solve whatever problem you have.

A no-contract sales price does not mean unlocked.
Apple is now selling an officially unlocked iPhone in the U.S. which has nothing whatsoever to do with AT&T unlocking iPhones. It is up to the carrier and the carrier only to officially unlock an iPhone that was sold as carrier locked with the carrier - in this case sold as carrier locked with AT&T. This may change one day, but at the present time AT&T does not unlock an iPhone for any reason or under any circumstances. -
Hooked iPhone onto Mac to download songs from iTunes. Accidentally restored it as the iPod previously used. Now all data, pictures, content erased from iPhone. Now it acts as an iPod. iPhone was never synced with the Mac nor backed up. It will now, but how do I revert to the old iPhone?
The hard drive cannot be damaged any further by simply removing it and then putting it back in. If it was getting progressively worse, it may now be at a point where the data is not accessible in any normal way.
Since your iMac is still covered by warranty until December, you need to get it fixed. That is the first step. Whether you can recover your data or not, you need a working iMac. Ask the Apple Store to give back the broken hard drive so that you can send it to a data recovery shop, even if you do not intend to do so. If Apple says they need to retain the old drive (since it is being repair under warranty), take it to an Apple authorized repair shop (who can do the same work under warranty) that will let you keep the old drive.
After getting your iMac fixed and working normally, you can try to recover the data. You may be able to access it through a USB or FireWire external case. But if the drive is not at least visible in Disk Utility, I don't think other utilities such as Disk Warrior and TechTool Pro will help. -

If it's in recovery mode, the data is already gone. Why did you never back up your important data?

My computer crashed and I have to get my data from my old drive to another computer, to ensure I get all my data what do I need to get. I have and ipad and an iphone. I need to get apps, contacts, pictures, etc. Is there a way to do this? It was a vista pc and the new is win 7. I can grab the backup files, and music, but what about my apps? I do not want to sync on the new pc since the apps aren't there. Were are the app files located in itunes? Can I just copy them to the new computer?
You can transfer itunes purchases: File>Devices>Transfer Purchases
The iphone is not a storage/backup device. The sync is one way - computer to iphone. The exception is itunes purchases.
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer. Use your backup copy to put everything back. -

You must have somehow restored your iPhone from an iPod Touch backup file.
To recover you should restore your iPhone from the last iPhone backup file you have or from the Cloud if you were using it. -

When you say that it recognizes both phones are you sure you aren't just seeing both backups? iCloud should back up your new phone if you have iCloud Backup turned to On in Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup. But you may still have the old backup stored in your account as well when you check in Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>Manage Storage on the Backups list. If you no longer need the backup of your old phone, tap it and then tap Delete Backup.

I was just at the Genius Bar in Chicago and they said, don't worry about it. It just floats out there, however, I can not recover my messages on a flash drive. I need to go back to my old computer which I don't have with me. My messages were in folders for a lawsuit. It is going to take an incredible amount of work for me to, you have no Idea. We are talking thousands of pages! I the defendent will have them during discovery so I am not so worried. However, I can not bring them to him on a Flashdrive when I meet with him without an extraordinary amount of presssure on my part. THis is not just some little email issue. I bought new i phone 5 3 days back, after that asked for new update which is 6.1.4, after updating my iphone i am not able to use cellular data services. I called up data provider, they says its the problem with new software update. There is no option add APN. Now when i switch to safari its showing you are not subscribed for cellular data. But I am able to use data on other phone.
Will you please help me in this regard?

Welcome to the Apple community.
You cannot download a backup from iCloud, the only way to access it is to restore to the backup with your new phone, which you should have done when you first connected it. If you restore now, you will lose all the new information you have added to your new phone. -

I tried upgrading to leopard, even bought the software and brought it home but it wouldn't let me. So i went back to apple, gave them the specifications of the machine and been told my machine is simply too old for leopard. This is incredible to me because it really isn't THAT old (i think just a little over 6 years maybe) and yet i'm left out on the curb when it comes to using newer apple products. I understand technology moves on but the mindset that i am supposed to dump a perfectly working machine after a couple of years or face not being able to use any other apple product is counter to what thought apple was about.
