I need to create a folio field that increments itself everytime you open the acrobat form

Hi, I have a very simple form with a some fields the user should capture.
The first field is folio number, that should be filled automatically when the user opens the form, with the last used folio number plus 1. The next number available.
I have been reading a lot of documentation but don´t know how should I do this calculation so that if someone opens the form now he gets number 1, the next person gets number 2, and so on.
There is so much information javascript, formcalc, xml, etc.
Can someone tell me which should be the easiest and more efficient way do to this?

Have never done that before, but here are my initial thoughts on the topic:
Suggestions: (reader extension/acrobat required)
1) Call an external data source
2) If the PDF is in the same place/pc all the time and will only be used from there, make it call a local flat file
3) Maybe use the Date/Time/User as your unique number (if it doesn't need to increment by 1, but just something unique and identifiable)

I am creating a form that will include a job number that needs to increase with each new job.
I would rather the document automatically update the job number instead of the operator.

by opening the original form using Acrobat Pro. Using the "replace" feature under pages you can remove the old source and replace with a new one. Save the file then close. Reopen the file and chose create. You can then modify fields if you moved the source around. Kludgy but it worked.

Need to create a POP-UP that will play a video

I need to create a POP-UP that I can then use to select from
various videos that I would want to play in that POP-UP. I have
just gotten Dreamweaver CS3 and am trying to get some help from
some of you Pros. I have been looking through the help files but I
have yet to find how to do this. Can anyone point me in the right

Thanks for that. Yes, the ipad was purchased recently. I called Apple last Friday and they ask for the receipt. I wonder if anyone were able to swap their ipad for a larger storage in the past at the apple store without a receipt? 16Gb is such a small storage.

Make a temporary, backup copy (if you don't already have a backup copy) of the library and apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Select the options identified in the screenshot.
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
Download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
Click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments but not books, calendars or slideshows. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

Cloud programs do not use serial numbers... you log in to your paid Cloud account to download & install & activate... you MAY need to log out of the Cloud and restart your computer and log back in to the Cloud for things to work

Are you still facing this issue?
Is this issue happening with all the documents you have. If yes, i would suggest try uninstall and reinstall. Or if the documents are located on some shared drive try to copy them on local machine and test again.

OK, restart in Safe Mode, this will clear some caches. It's possible one or more is corrupt. To restart in Safe Mode when you hear the start up tone hold down the Shift Key until you see a progress bar. Let it fully boot then restart normally and test.
Also I am assuming you have checked Finder - Preferences - General and see what boxes are checked in "Show these items on desktop." You can also mount an item in Disk Utility, simply highlight it and then look in the File menu for Mount.....

And if you don't want it so you will click on i don't want it
and it won't say your name
