    according to the docs... if I interpret them right
    getRoles returns roles assigned to the context given, this is wise since it is usualy used to check if the current user invoking the call has the rights in a form, workflow or similiar...
    Adding the "accountId" string as a second argument would invoke this form of the getRoles

    Executed successfully but there were some errors when distribute the output.

    We have financial reports executed from workspace.In essbase session , only the user id is displayed and the Request type- mdxreport is displayed. We also tried searching the log for Financial report didnt find anything relevant.
    Is there a way to find out what reports are being executed by the user.

    STAT will give you the information for a limited period of time and is limited to the server which you are logged onto yourself. Beyond 24 hours it is of even less use even if you change the selection screen values.
    If you want it for a period way back into the past, then you need to use ST03N.
    There are at least 2 dependencies and 1 confusion:
    1 dependency) The length of period is determined by the size (length) of the file. You can change this in ST03N (default 50MB) via the menu settings.
    2 dependency) The stat collector jobs need to be scheduled to write the information to ST03N (once per hour is a legal requirement in some non-banana republic countries).
    1 confusion) There is an obscure function which converts a report submit to a transaction name (there is not much difference anyway) and an even more obsure one which filters what ST03N will record and therefore whether you can read it. You can (un)filter these things away if you search the SAP Marketplace for the term "MONI".
    What is of particular value from this control is that you can even detect a submission of an abap which only existed temporarily.
    Also note that having this information is potentially very powerfull with respect to the users (some of them are human too), so you should expose and use it responsibly.
    You should also ensure that only responsible users / auditors have access to S_TOOLS_EX.

    I have this ALV report. I know I can go up to the toolbar and email the report manually to the user. But I am looking for a code to do that automatically. meaning When I run the report in the selection screen i will provide the email address and the report after its ran it should also email that (when its done manually it sends the attachment as an PDF, which i have no problem with) report as PDF.
    Please help me with the code i need to use..

    I have a ALV Report, when i execute, my report should pick the ALV Report output from spool, and should send a mail with spool output as HTML attachment.

    You can use 2 reports for this.
    In one report just display the ALV..
    and in the second report submit this first report  to memory and get it html format and then send it as an email.
    Just check this code (instead of alv...this is a normal report that is sent as HTML attachment)

  • Need to send email to email addresses in one list when list 2 is updated

    I have  2 lists
    list 1 has email addresses
    the 2nd list is actually a document library
    what I was wondering, is how can I send an email to people to people in list 1 when list #2 is updated with new documents?
    i have been trying different  ways of doing it, but no luck....
    anyone have any ideas how to capture the email address from list 1 and send them an email when list #2 is updated?

    I would suggest you to go for custom event receiver using visual studio. Its an easy way.... try it out.
    Choose List item event in event receiver settings.
    Step 1:Add item was added and item was updated event. Use caml query to fetch email address and loop through the collection and send email using SPUtility. Refer below code.

    One of the solution to your problem is as mentioned below.
    1) Use RFC lookup in your mapping. Tell ABAP person to create a RFC for mail triggering. Or you can use standard RFC from ABAP for mail sending.
    2) Once the value(Mail ID) will come in Message mapping, call the RFC lookup which will intern call the Mail sending RFC.
    3) This way mail will be triggered from XI and will be sent from the ABAP system where the RFC is located. Just check whether in ABAP SMTP is there so you can send mail to external ID.

  • I need help setting up a button to import one or more pdf files into existing pdf

    I am trying to help out a Vet Counsler who has to fill out many many many forms, a lot with the same information. So I would like to create a form that allows them to fill out given information and then fill out each pdf with that information upon request. I can create each form with the same name fields but can not find a way to select multible forms. Can any one help me with this project? I am using Acrobat 9 Pro.

    It definitely cannot be done in InDesign.
    You might ask in the Acrobat forums. It's possible it might be done with JavaScript in Acrobat Pro.

  • Self registration & needs to send mail from admin to user.

    system needs to  send an e-mail from the administrator to the user, informing the user that self-registration was successful.
    i have made the congifuration as mentioned on sap help. i mean "ume.notification.
    selfreg_performed = TRUE"
    but still the user not getting emails automatically.

    i had done the self registration and email notification successfully thanks for your help & all also for all who helped me.
    But i have a small doubt notification mail "user successfully created" going to the Guest user from administrators mail, but administrator account not getting any mail. i need to get that mail in our administrator inbox. how to get this mail.

    I am facing problem regarding completion notifications in Oraclr r12, when user click the upon completion generated notifications it can only be viewd once, second time user cannot view the notifications.
    I have find that fnd_file_temp table store this information and deleted it.
    Plz help me how to view this URL again.
