I need to test the Multiprovider in Development and prove to the management to move it to testing server.
Please tell me how to test and prove this Multiprovider?

What exactly do you need to prove? Have you created the multiprovider over some base cubes and need to show that the report results are correct? In that case you can have identical queries on the base cubes and the multiprovider and run each to match the results...

When i see the in ST22 it shows exception " CX_HRBAS_INVALID_PARAMETER". And I have search the SAP NOTES and found the following sapnotes

We are facing the same above error in the Development plan link in ESS, in Qa system , the link is working fine in DEv but in the QA it is rresulting in the error. The service is activated and when tested from there also results in the same error.
and We have just tested this occurs for specific user and not with everyone who logins inot QA Portal:(
Please suggest how to resolve this.

Problem in testing the Webservice interface?

I created and deployed one webservice in the Xi system and SAP communication done using the RFC.

Is your requirement to make full end-to-end test or make a simulation?
If you need simulation only, then PI's functionality available in Runtime Workbench and Test Confiuration tool available in Integration Builder and mentioned by Abhishek is OK.
In case the requirement is to make end-to-end test, I would suggest to use external SOAP client software in order to generate SOAP requests and send them to PI. Please advise why XML Spy and soapUI do not suit you? Actually, you can use any software which can generate SOAP request, send it to the specific endpoint and handle response.

It is for free.
We have been writing our own tool. The tool was actually not difficult. Problematic was the interpretation of the results. I can only advise you to keep a good protocol about what you have been meassuring an how you did this. Otherwise people will come up with strange ideas about the results of your loadtest.
You have to keep an eye on system ressources: The memory of the boxes involved, but also silly things like available connections. By opening and closing socket connections, we managed to run out of ressources on a SUN pretty fast...
Please be also aware that a loadtest, ..well produces load. Since we were testing a system where the middletier called up to the mainframe for data, we had to pick late hours for our test. At one evening we took 50% of the capacity of the mainframe... Don't underestimate the time it needs for negotiating and scheduling such meassurements!

I need to test the existing webservice in the "ESWORKPLACE", for this i have selected a webservice with the following URL

To test the same i used the Webservice navigator in the ESWorkplace which is asking for Userid/password for the server "SAP WebApplication Server [HU2]"

Hi,
If you need to test only the mapping then you can go to Test tab in Message mapping or Test tab in Interface mapping and test it.
If you need to test the entire scenario without adapters you can go to ID and select the menu Test Scenario.
OR
You can go to Runtime Workbench and when you click on the Integration Server you will find the Test tab in the bottomthere you can test the same.
The above dose'nt include adapter, if you need to tes it with adapters then you need to test like actually realtime execution.

Hai Rajendran,
      Forms are tested by run its driver programs basically.Even If you don't exactly the driver program, you test the smart form and adobe forms by test it by providing appropriate values in runtime environment.
For sap script programs, even you don't know the driver program, Go to form editor using SE71,
-> Go to Form menu icon
    -> Select Check submenu item ,
        -> select Text ,click Enter
    It shows the driver program, then run it to test the script form.

I am planning to test LabView embedded on an LPC2294 development board.
Should I buy the PhyCore development board for LPC2294 or would any other LPC2294 development board do the job?
I have seen a huge difference in price between the PhyCore LPC229x development board and a standard LPC2294 from other parties. However, the other party's development board seems to have more features than the one from the PhyCore development board.

The example target in the LabVIEW Microprocessor SDK is designed specifically for the Phytec LPC2294 development board, so it would be easiest to start there. You can certainly modify the example target implementation to fit your needs for alternate development boards (in fact, that's the idea!).

Downgrading iOS is not supported by Apple. You may find workarounds on other web sites if you do a web search for such information, e.g. "downgrade iOS". You can links to Apple's direct downloads for iOS 4.1 here, among other places:

For pure AS3 development do we still need to overlay the FLEX SDK?

I've found this whole SDK overlay business a mess and very confusing. I've found this document

"The distribution of the AIR SDK with ASC 2.0 is for pure ActionScript development only. It should not be combined with an existing Flex SDK.
To support Flex application development with newer versions of the AIR SDK, an AIR SDK overlay distribution that does not include ASC 2.0 needs to be overlaid over the Flex SDK bundled with Flash Builder 4.7."
So if we are doing pure AS3 development there is no longer any need to do any 'overlaying' of one SDK Folder onto another. We just need to get the latest AIR SDK with complier ( http://www.adobe.com/devnet/air/air-sdk-download.html )
We should then update the AIR SDK if using Flash Builder via ( http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-builder/kb/overlay-air-sdk-flash-builder. html ) (Note it still uses the term 'overlay' but you are not really overlaying but replacing).
Is this conclusion correct. Do we just need the SDK with the new compilier and nothing else ?
Can someone from Adobe confirm please ?

Yes, that's correct, for pure AS3 development you need not use the Flex SDK overlay. For this you should use asc2 compiler available at http://www.adobe.com/devnet/air/air-sdk-download.html . Also below are step to overlay your AIR SDK with Flash builder 4.7
1. Exit Flash Builder.
2. Back up the AIR SDK availabe at Application/FB4.7/eclipse/plugins/com.adobe.flash.compiler_4.7.0.349722/ by copying the entire directory and rename it to something AIRSDKversion. Now, you have two folder AIRSDK(default one) and AIRSDKversion(copied one).
3. Download the appropriate AIR SDK file for your operating system e.g. http://www.adobe.com/devnet/air/air-sdk-download.html unzip and save it on your MAC OS X.
4. On Terminal, run the below command
sudo ditto /path/air3-8_sdk_sa_mac /Applications/Adobe\ Flash\ Builder\ 4.7/eclipse/plugins/com.adobe.flash.compiler_4.7.0.349722/AIRSDK
/path/air3-8_sdk_sa_mac -> path where you downloaded the AIR SDK
/Applications/Adobe\ Flash\ Builder\ 4.7/eclipse/plugins/com.adobe.flash.compiler_4.7.0.349722/AIRSDK -> path where you overlay the new AIR SDK
5. (Optional) To access the new AIR 3.8 APIs, update your application descriptor file to the 3.8 namespace.
To update the namespace, change the xmlns attribute in your application descriptor to: <application xmlns="http://ns.adobe.com/air/application/3.8">
6. (Optional) To ensure that the output SWF file targets SWF version 21, pass an additional compiler argument: -swf-version=21.

i am currently customizing charm security, i am trying to use sap_socm_admin role and copying it to customer namespace like
zsap_socm_developer, zsap_socm_manager etc, and trying to enforce restrictions by adding or removing auth keys under the auth object b_userstat . My problem is when i do that these roles are missing other authorizations to perform small functions like displaying logs and things like that.
so i wanted to know if there is any role ( single of composite ) that i can use to copy for all my users and i can simply restrict the clicking on actions ( authorize CR, set in development ..etc) by removing or adding just the auth key, i mean only the auth key...i dont care if they have auth to projects or task list or what ever i just want to restrict by the actions they can perform.
