I no longer have search when I swipe down. Just calendar. How do I change this?

I just updated to IOS 7 on my Ipad 2 and found out I lost the left-swipe search function. I came here, and saw info that it was moved to a down-swipe. When I swipe down, I get my calendar, not search.

Start the swipe motion about mid-screen as opposed to at the top.

deactivate (help>deactivate) on your old hd.
then install using the installation file(s) and your serial number.

I don't want to download an app. I would rather add a new string in about config or just change of the ones in there to false. It's making my work life rather difficult, to be forced to go all the way back to the end of my list after moving one tab just to have to do it again. I mean it's to the point where I might consider changing browsers if they had tab scroll bars.
Edit: At this point I will download any app. Please make this stupid feature stop.

The result of setting up that code will do exactly as you described: the tabs will be crowded together. I had not noticed any change in behaviour of Firefox with tabs because all the tabs are crowded together, so they cannot scroll, and I very seldom move tabs.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. Thanks for the reply. It helped me debug the situation, like I should have been able to do on my own (to my slight embarrassment). Somehow I must have downloaded the Acrobat Reader DC (don't know exactly what this is) and it became my default app for opening .pdf files. When I opened Adobe Acrobat and opened the file I wanted to modify within that everything is fine. Thanks!

In Firefox 3.6.10 there is a save and quit option when I shut down two opentabs, how do I get this in firefox 4.0.1?

When closing Firefox version 3.6.10 with two or more tabs open I am asked 'Do you want Firefox to save your tabs for the next time it starts?' I then have the option to 'Save & Quit', 'Quit' or 'Cancel'. This does not seem to be available in Firefox 4.0.1. Is there any way I can get this option in Firefox 4.0.1?

Firefox 4 saves the previous session automatically, so there is no longer need for the dialog asking if you want to save the current session.
You can use "Firefox > History > Restore Previous Session" to get the previous session.<br />
There is also a "Restore Previous Session" button on the default <b>about:home</b> Home page.
Another possibility is to use:

Could you try to activate "Calendar" in the iCloud-Settings of the Ipad?
Just close the Calendar, turn the setting on and start Calandar again. Perhaps you need a reboot.

Talk to your carrier - they may have a limit on a call (maybe they think you didn't hang up properly).
