I ordered my iPhone 5 on the 1st of October 2012. it says delivers october 30th. How can I get it faster? I need it to take pics of my school project.

I really can't wait for my new iPhone 5. I am worried because I need it to take picsures of a project I am making in school. I have to take pictures of almost every step in the process. I am starting next week and I will be carrying it out over the next 8 months. Becasue I live in ireland and america is on top of apples priority list for iPhones, I have to wait 3-4 weeks for it to dispatch and 3-7 working days for it to ship. I think that this is a bit disgraceful on Apples part. I mean I am payingthe full price of €790 for the phone, they least they could do is have it delkivered to me sooner. I mean I will be missing out on a whole month of use, not to mention the fact that it released 2 weeks later in ireland. Not only that but Apple should know at this stage that the supple of iPhones usually runs low within the first few weeks of sale, they should have pushed back the release date to allow more menufacturing time. Anyway, back to the point. Is there anything I can do to get my iPhone earlier?

What does this mean?
How did you try to import those pics?
You import pics from iphone just as you would from any digital camera. They are not part of the sync process at all.
I am trying to figure out what exactly you did.
Bottom line is that the pics are gone unless you have a backup of your iphone on your computer from a time when the pics were on the iphone.
In the future you should be importing your pics to your computer regularly.

Without a backup on iCloud, there needs to be another device using the same @icloud address that is syncing to the notes. Without that, there is no way to go back in time to create a backup before performing a major update.

Your phone connected, iTunes running, under the "Apps" tab, you've selected this app to install on your phone, correct? Hit the "Apply/Sync" button, lower right on the Apps tab, what happens?

TRy removing the sim card wipe it clean then insert it again. Your sim card tray might be dusty. Another option is turning your airplane mode on and off.

You either have to restore the Snow Leopard backup you made prior to installing Mavericks, or create a separate Snow Leopard partition to boot to in order to run your older PowerPC applications.
Either that, or upgrade the apps which won't run in Mavericks to newer versions that do.

Hold the home and power button down until your phone restarts. If that doesn't work, backup and restore using iTunes.

Currently I have had to often downloads and sift through all my files to find the ones I want to open into itunes, and it's irritating.

Media is only where the user puts it.
Installing iTunes does not and has never caused media to magically appear on the computer.
Copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder from the old computer (or backup of the old computer) to the new computer.

A new version shouldn't do that but it does seem to happen on occasion to a few unlucky ones. Restore your library from the backup you make of your computer before you install new software. If you don't have one, this is a learning experience.
Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchases which can be transferred to a computer.
