Csound1 What Ive been trying to explain is that I have been running bootcamp, I open the app where the first screen is the introduction, i hit continue, the first time I select "download the latest windows support software fromm Apple" then I return and instead select "Install Windows 7." Then hit continue. The third screen is where I "Create a Partition for Windows" I set Windows to 80 gigs then hit INSTALL. As stated before Bootcamp cannot find the install drivers saying "The installer disc could not be found." My windows software is on a USB drive not a disc, I tried using a virtual disc reader to make it appear that the windows software was running on a disc, still no luck. What I would like to know is how to install windows on bootcamp.

To try and stop it happening again you can turn off in-app purchases on your phone via Settings > General > Restrictions > In-App Purchases 'off' -
I am using a mac, and every time I turn it on, load the BBC website on firefox and then try to load a video there, firefox crashes. I select restart from the two options provided, and when it reloads the BBC page, I can watch that video and any other on the site without problems. Then, if I shut the mac down and turn it on again, the problem once again occurs. Is this just a bug in firefox?
Do a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program folder before (re)installing a fresh copy of the current Firefox release.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

Uninstall your current Firefox version, if possible, to cleanup the Windows registry and settings in security software.

Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.

Your bookmarks and other personal data are stored in the Firefox profile folder and won't be affected by an uninstall and (re)install, but make sure that "remove personal data" is NOT selected when you uninstall Firefox.
If you keep having problems then also create a new profile.

i can't open "special characters" in any Edit pull down menu. i have a constantly flashing empty window labelled 'characters' that i haven't been able to stop.
it appears every time i click on anything. any suggestions? tru thanxI, too, have found Bridge very unstable. I find this to be extremely disappointing, seeing as it's literally the most expensive piece of software I've ever purchased for personal use. I've seen these two symptoms:
1. When running in full screen mode, Bridge crashes periodically. This happened on Vista, so I blamed Vista (of course), but even after regressing to XP SP2, I see the same symptoms.
2. Although I didn't see this on Vista, running on XP I see the problem described earlier in this thread, where clicking on a thumbnail displays the wrong image preview. When this happens the image displayed is one from a different folder! I solve the problem by clearing the cache, and it's OK for a while, but the problem keeps returning.
3. Even when exiting cleanly from Bridge (using File->Exit), Bridge often forgets where I was working in my previous session. I need to re-navigate from the very top level directory down through the hierarchy to my photo directory.
Again, it's very disappointing to invest so much in a single software package only to see such basic operations malfunction. -
On the ES2, how do I get a pitch modulation (Pitch123) modulated by LFO2 to retrigger every time i hit a new key?
I understand this can be done with the LFO1, however, ideally I'd like this synced to the beat as can be done with the LFO2 but not the LFO1...
I hope that's clear enough.You've discovered the limitation. The way I see it, you have 3 work-arounds:
1) Figure out the Hz equivalent to your bpm division and set LFO1 accordingly (google "bpm to hz calculator").
2) Time your notes to coincide with LFO2's timing (re-write your music and live with it!).
3) Set up the vector envelope with a synced sustain loop. -
On start up, Imovie states that it cannont play a movie because it is missing a particular file. This happenens every time on start up without selecting a clip to view. It even freezes imovie. Any suggestions?

I have some problems when turning on my iphone 5. The screen turns black and then white and the appli is red and when I finally get in and start an app it turnes itselves off. This happens every time when I turn it on. After I have turned it on several times it acts normal.... But something is wrong...Anyone???

Reset: Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Note: You will not lose any data
If no joy, restore backup using iTunes.
Finally last attempt, rsetore as new and sync content back manually. -

Every time I open a new page with Firefox I get an annoying click sound. I have gone into sounds> program events>clicked on none for Start and Stop Navigation but the sound continues. Operating System used Windows XP.

David Parkerhello, can you try to replicate this behaviour when you launch firefox in safe mode once? if not, then an addon (like noscript or autofill) is causing this - you'll have to change that in the extension's preferences...

Every time I make a sub-folder...
... the tree view collapses and the wrong thing gets selected.
It's been an issue for several versions and it seems to be getting worse. I'm jsut going through todays photos and I know this bug is going to happend 10-15 times in the next tien minutes. I'm sure someone will tell me it's a known bug but really? It can't be that hard to fix, it's the sort of thing you'd fail a beginnerss programming course for. It looks amateurish and if I try to use the software in front of a client and this sort of thing happens it makes ME look bad.(You might want to refrain from making sweeping generalizations in your postings -- it doesn't exactly inspire replies.)
I cannot reproduce anything like this.
- I create a new top-level Folder.
- Select this new folder, right-click and choose "Create Folder inside ..."
- Repeat as necessary.
When it creates the folder it merely repaints the disclosure triangle from stippled to light grey to indicate there is a subfolder, leaving the selected Folder highlighted. Disclosing the arrow shows the new sub.

It started happening after a recent update from both windows and firefox
Thanks for the help I'll keep the info just in case - but I got so frustrated that I just deleted the program and then re downloaded the current version now everything works fine.

Can we get our money back? I can't believe there was no security or the iTunes password to submit and how is an app upgrade £70 these people are rob dogs.

Apple allows apps to list themselves as "Free" if the initial download is free, even if the app has kid-oriented inducements for costly in-app purchases. The in-app purchases are almost always ridiculous, over-priced game accessories, of which your example of "vault of gems for £70" is right up there. It is way too caveat emptor for my taste, but each consumer can form their own opinion on that.
To Apple's credit, they have a good record of granting refunds providing you explain the extenuating circumstances (purchase by a minor) and only ask once. Contact iTunes Customer Service.
And immediately, you need to place restrictions on the devices. The restrictions are off by default (caveat emptor!), so you need to take action to place them. See this document: iOS: Understanding Restrictions -
