whether i use a DL DVD or just a DVD R, it tells me there was an error during multiplexing. I have tried changing every setting, best performance, professional quality, etc. and still get the same error message every time i try to burn to dvd.
Welcome to the forums.
Looks like that error message does refer to encoding (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1645) but a problem could be that your video has to be reloaded into iDVD if you started the encoding process and then switched settings. You could start a new iDVD project, or try deleting encoded assets.
Let's start from the beginning -- what length of video are you trying to fit on the DVD? (this will indicate what encoding options you have). Double layer DVDs can be finicky and are used for video more than 2 hrs long.
Use good quality media -- Verbatim is often recommended around here, and I've used Sony DVD-R with good results.

Hi, I've been using the 3D function in PS, upgraded to CC2104 and it was disabled (need more VRAM). I then reinstalled CS6 and was able to use it for a day and now, today, I am getting the same message I got with PS CC2014 saying my VRAM is too low again. I'm in the middle of a project that needs to go live tomorrow. HELP!!! Please.
Photoshop requires 512 Meg of VRAM or more to use the 3D features - that's been the same for version 14 (CC) and now 15 (CC 2014). Check Help->System Info to see how much your card says it has.

When I try to start Firefox, I get the error message "Your computer must be restarted to complete a previous upgrade of Firefox. Do you want to reboot now?" I have rebooted several times to no avail. Get the same message when I try to uninstall Firefox
Just had this same problem. Based on other suggestions I found on the web, went to C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox and deleted all files that ended with upgrade and/or delete. Then I was able to uninstall Firefox and then reinstalled. Hope this helps!

The website is static.australianbrewingcompany.com. It was popping up daily. I never clicked on it, just deleted it. Installed AdBlock Plus 2.4. Don't see the website any more but do get a message every day stating that the website is a reported forgery. I agree, but I don't need to see the message every day. It's distracting when I'm trying to work (I'm a B@B writer). So, how can I leave the block in place, but not see the message every day?
Hi ComputerWhiz, I'm suspicious about what is causing Firefox to try to load that page in the first place. That's why I suggested checking for malware.
Hi RichardGregory, can you associate the attempted visit to the site with anything in particular, such as first opening Firefox, or visiting a specific other site, or a particular time of day?
Over the course of the year, we've seen malware that adds a scheduled task to Windows to launch ads at a particular time of day, and we've seen malware hack the Firefox program icon on the desktop to open a specific page when you double-click it, so that's why the additional information would be helpful in getting to the bottom of it. -
I have Photoshop CS5 Extended and it says updates available but when i download the updates it says updates failed please try again later, i have tried a few times and get the same message any help would be great i am running 64bit on windows 8.
I am running Windows 7 64 bit ultimate and have the same problem. My hard drive crashed, installed a new one and then reinstalled CS5 extended. Installation went fine, but can no longer open my camera RAW files from Photoshop (camera is a Canon EOS T2i. The message also tells me I am not eligible for the update. I am... and I cannot open my files and I could before. I can find nowhere to contact Adobe to tell me how to proceed. My daughter is all a registered user of the same product and she had no problems upgrading... we purchased ours each at the same time. I do know the difference is that I had to reinstall and she did not. If that means anything.

First take the steps recommended in this support article. If there's no change, continue as follows.
Back up all data.

I recently purchased FaceTime from the Application Store. After approx. ±10 meg, the application resets and starts downloading again. I have tried to download it at different times of the day but with the same results. I have been in contact with Apple support and have tried different options with the same result. I cannot download a new Version because in my Purchased List the applicaiton (FaceTime) is still there, and because I have halted it it tells me to resume. I can’t, because the same thing is going to happen. I have tried all the various troubleshooting tips supplied by my ISP and also Apple Support with no luck. I am currently working on a IMac OS 10.6.7. Has anybody got any ideas? Any suggestion would help. Thanks

Not much consolation but even new products can have issues and might need a trip to a store to return/replace.
The reason i asked about the LED on the AppleTV is that occasionally it thinks it's paired with a specific remote and ignores others - the unpair keypress I described is quick and free.

I strongly suspect this is time machine-related. Even though time machine has been turned off, this happens at intervals of exactly one hour.
A single entry appears in the kernel log at the precise moment the (first) popup error box appears. This is:
"AppleSRP started."
Anyone have any clue how to go about diagnosing or fixing this? I don't even mind trying something brute force (short of wiping the HD and reinstalling lion, which I really DON'T want to do; I don't mind a non-destructive reinstall). -
My computer (MacBook mid-2007) does not recognise the battery suddenly. A cross appears on the image. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing it but it didn't help. Is the battery dead?

I have lost AirPlay (with iPad and iPod touch (new) both on os5 ) and sharing with my PC (uptodate iTunes) since accepting a software upgrade to the Apple TV yesterday. I have tried restoring and reinstalling this software but this failed to solve the problem. Any suggestions would be very welcome.

Also check that the ports 5353 and 5354 (Bonjour (mDNSResponder), AirPlay, Home Sharing, Printer Discovery) are open on Windows Firewall.

I had a similar problem recently and using the "more like this" feature I discovered an answer. To a problem posed by Holo7, who like myself was a newbie on this platform, b noir proposed a solution to Holo7's problem that also worked with my problem. It involves downloading a version of MS Windows Instal Cleanup and using it to completely remove all traces of the old version.
If you look at my problem (follow OldGit66) and the link to Holo7's problem then you will find b noir's answer which I think may help you. I am new around here so you might want to wait for one of the higher status correspondents.

I downloaded Mac OS X and I am having problems installing it: I get messages saying that it is was corrupted during downloading. I have tried re-downloading (which Appstore tells me is free) but everytime I get the same message. Help
Are you using dial-up, cable, or DSL? Do you have a slow or fast connection? The former is likely to make it difficult to get a reliable download of a 4 GB file.
