This is my 3rd macbook (black) 1st one lasted 2 days and would not power up just dead, seconed one had some humming noise, 3rd one now has no display every other day and I have to start up with command / option / p +r , then it works. I also have a uneven bottom in the center after its been on for 2 hours. I called tec support and got a case # and was told to take it in. well today i herd the lid popping when I opened and closed it and I saw the left corner lifting up, i looked closer and found at the base of the screen (left side) was also lifting? Well that was it i was on my way to the apple store. I didnt know that you need an appointment to get some help!!! tech support should have told me, After I told them this was my 3rd they took a look at it and said I damaged my macbook! come on, there is no scuff, no drops, no marks, no nothing, how can you tell me this. Is apple this poor with customer service. Its been 35 days now with this macbook and i have no way to return it now. //// what should I do? or better yet who can I call. I dont want to be stuck with macbook I have to perform a 4 button start up, or a popping lid.

Call customer relations and ask for a refund...make sure to explain all the problems you've been having. That's what I did (after my MacBook was repeatedly repaired and replaced and it kept on breaking over and over again...strangely, I had many of the same problems that you are having).

If possible I would arrange for a good service center to go over it. Hopefully they have a variety of parts in stock. They can test and verify all is working. The previous attempts are based on guesses by the person at the other end of the phone without diagnostic tests to assess the culprit. It is extremely unlikely for a webcam to fail & for it & a Mic to fail together should be an indicator to a good technician it is something else. EG Motherboard

The fan stops after the notebook ws turn on and my Toshiba laptop computer is giving me the warning "A problem with the cooling system has been detected. Please turn off the computer immediately, and return it for service".
The fan works several minutes and stops.
I clean out all dust, I didn`t anything with software and hardware.
What the reason of this?

Toshiba service always takes a lot of time and I have`t this time because I can`t work without this laptop.
I just want to understand why he stops if he can works. For example, today fan was working during 3 hours(everything was good) and had stoped when I went out to the kitchen. After that the CPU temp becames high and I turn it off.
I don`t know what happens, there no a lot of processes, I don`t play in hard games, just surf and office.

This is what you need to do:
1> In the tables->details section define two line types LT1 and LT2.
2> Come back to tables section pressing the table painter button.
3> Select a line type for which you want to have an underline(say LT2).
     a] If the anchor cursor does not come click the draw lines and columns button( the pencil icon nutton)
     b] select the line type ( it will become black after selection. Press and hold down ctrl to select
         multiple cells.
     c] after selection click the lower 'frame button' ( which is right at the top of box and shading).
4> Now goto data section where you have given your internal table name and work area.
     a] in the sort criteria put your field POSNR and check the Event on Sort end chk box.
     b] you will see an extra node under the main area of the table.
     c] Create a table line with the line type LT2 in the node.
     d]Also in the Main area add another table line with LT1 as the line type.
5> If POSNR remains unchnged LT1 will be triggered.
6> if Posnr changes then LT2 will be triggered with the underline.
This will suffice your requirement.

Hello, I purchased iTunes Match for my new iPhone five and it is intended to move the music from my computer to my other computer, but it stopped working on my MacBook Pro, it stopped after the first step. So, my question is, can iTunes Match work if the iTunes in question has other accounts attached to it, of not, can I get a refund on a service that does not work?

I am having a similar issue with iTunes Match. It keeps hanging up on the same number of files (11035 of 15455) during STEP 2. I've tried signing out, re-opening iTunes, re-booting, etc. Still comesup stuck for hours. What I also don't understand is why the "iCloud Status" option in "View/View Options" disappears intermittently. It was there when I first booted up this morning and I reviewed all my music files to see if there were any "errors" and there werne't any. But after Match gets stuck on the same file niumber (11035) I 've signed out and re-booted and now the "iCloud Status" check box is missing from "View Options" (only the "iCloud Download" option remains present all the time. Please help. (I've also checked to make sure all the music files are within the suggested bit rate parameters and file type - This is also a brand new iMac out of the box). Running out of troubleshooting ideas and beginning to think this service just doesn't work well.

I hate to break this to you, but life isn't fair. If your job is that critically in need of a computer, then you should have a spare to use for just this kind of situation or have your employer provide you with a computer to use.

Workbook column should preserve color after the run in Analyzer

Hello all,
I use BEx SAP BW 3.x.
I made a workbook , and I put column 3 to have orange color in this workbook then I saved it.
Then I run a query, in BEx Analyzer.
My orange column is orange, but just partially, top and bottom. In this column I have now data
and for that zone with data the background is white, not orange.
Please provide me a solution, what should I have to modify, so my entire third column to be orange after the run in Analyzer .

In bex 3.x embedd the query in your workbook then change the format of the style of the cell not the cell itself
This will only work if the column has a unique bex style
Other than that nto much use unless you have a piece of macro code or use excel functionality to add an extra column and make that orange
YOu could of course have the column being an exception where the exception is always true - and then format the exception style to be orange

I am having problems syncing my iTunes music to iTunes Match. ITunes shuts down after the 2nd step every time. Does anyone know how to fix?

Every time iTunes Match starts up, it gets to Step 2, almost makes it to Step 3, and then crashes and shuts down iTunes. I've restarted the computer, and reinstalled iTunes for Windows. Anyone have any idea what I should do next? There are songs that I can't sync to my iPhone 5S because of this.

I have a regular post for the top 3 or 4 fixes for that 9808 error. Obviously you are going to skip #1, since you've already tried it. Let me know how you get on with the next 2.
The top 3 fixes to itunes error 9808 seem to be
1) Go to Start > Control Panel > Internet Options > Advanced, make sure that SSL 3.0 is checked and TLS 1.0 is checked. Also under Security make sure that the “Check for server certificate revocation (requires restart)” is unchecked. Then click ok and fire up iTunes.
2) The culprit was Norton. The users are set up as Admin and Standard. I have Parental Controls turned on in both Vista as well as Norton. Admin users had no problems connecting to iTunes. Standard users would get the error. I had to go to Norton’s Personal Firewall and add the program “iTunes Helper.exe” and set the option to “Allowed” (”iTunes.exe should already be in the Allowed category.) in order for the standard users to be able to connect.
3) close iTunes if you have it open right now. Then go to C:/Documents and Settings/username/Local Settings/Application Data/Apple Computer/iTunes. Delete or cut the preferences.xml file which contains your iTunes preferences. Then go to C:/Documents and Settings/username/Application Data/Apple Computer/iTunes and delete or move the preferences.xml file. For Mac users, there is only one file you must delete or move a to a new location and is located at User > Library > Preferences > com.apple.itunes.plist. Restart iTunes and it will recreate those two (or one) files with the default settings. Feel free to set your preferences back to what they were and then connect to the iTunes store and enjoy!
And #4, see if you can get into the iTS from a different windows admin account on the same PC.

well i figured it out how to fix this :?use winrar to extract the bins.cab file in the 3dmidi player and sbfm folders on your drivers cd and copy the exe files to the correct directories in the creative folders under program files. they programs seem to work so i guess they we'rent updated

My wife and I have new iPhone 5S and would like to access the cloud for different types of music, but I will maintain the music in the cloud. (That's my job.) Can 2 iPhones use the same iCloud? Music in the cloud is managed by the separate iTunes Match service ($25/year US). You would sign up to it on the PC, and your music library would be matched with the iTunes Store, and high quality versions of all songs would become available to you on any device also signed into iTunes Match. You should not delete your local copy from the PC, since you should retain a master version of all songs for safety.
You can use the same iTunes Match service, but you'd see the same music (you say you "would like to access the cloud for different types of music", but I'm not sure what you mean by that).

Workflow does not stop after the first reject

We just got a 30-day Microsoft 365 trial at work in which we also received a Share site! I've been playing around with it a lot, especially to help them build an approval process. I believe since this is just a trial, I do not get the globally reusable Approval
Workflow. So I tried creating a new workflow attached to a list I created.
In this process, when the list is submitted, it needs to be approved by 2 people sequentially - John Doe & then Billy Bob.
When I create a new workflow, I click on actions and select "Start Approval Process". After doing that, it populates Step 1 with the following line - Start Approval process on Current Item with these users. I clicked on "these users" link and added the approvers
in sequences - John Doe, then Billy Bob.
I saved the workflow, checked for any errors and published the workflow. While testing with this workflow, I realized that when John Doe rejects the process, the task is still assigned to Billy Bob when it is actually suppose to stop.
How can I stop this workflow right after John Doe rejects the process?
Any help will be appreciated!
