I think i am close Need some help though

Question

I have the following code.I want a circle to be drawn in a panel when i press the button.
The problem is that when i press the button nothing draws on the screen but if i move a slider after i press the button the circle will appear.I beleive it has to do with the fact that i use actionListener to control the button clicks and changeListener to control the sliders.(with every change in the slider a new text is drawn)(the text and the area for drawing are two different panels inside a greater one).
Any ideas?

Addview.repaint() to your actionListener to force the panel to paint.
