If he's reading the email in Outlook, that shouldn't break up the links.
Do you know: is your recipient clicking on the View File button or the URL link?

3. Change your Apple ID temporarily
If signing out and back in to iMessage or FaceTime didn't work, try these steps:
1. Change your Apple ID to the Apple ID you used previously. You shouldn't need to verify the email address.
2. Tap Settings > iCloud and try to sign out.
3. Change your Apple ID to the new email address that you want to use. You'll need to verify the email address.
4. Tap Settings > iCloud and sign in with the new Apple ID.

Take a look at the file filtering section in the InDesign CS3 sample script ImageCatalog.jsx to see how to look for file types. I'm assuming that you're using InDesign CS3, and that you're using the Mac OS--you didn't say.

Will changing the suffix on the file type make the file readable on devices

I read on the forums that you can just change the .mov to .mp4 to get devices to recognize the file. It that correct or does the file actually need to be converted? I am trying to get a Quicktime movie to play on an Android phone.

I'm of the "try it and see" school.
I've changed .wav to .mp3 and had it work. I suggest using the free MediaInfo Mac to see which codecs are used (namely some mp4 variant video and probably aac /mp4 audio). With my wav I could see it was basically a mpeg layer III codec so it was a mp3.
Probably a .mov from iMovie will have a more complex structure and I don't think in that case it will just be a matter of tricking it with changing extensions.

I transferred my itunes library using all the guided steps promepted on this topic, when I restarted iTunes in its new location on my xternal hard drive, iTunes did not have any of my ratings or playlists. I did have the hard drive running before i started up itunes as well. what can I do?

I got it to work!!!!!!!
what I did was after doing this( http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1364) moving my library and iTunes folders using that link, I held shift while double cicking and opening iTunes, It promted me to select a library, I went to my external hard drive and opened iTunes library.itl folder and selected the iTunes library.itl file. In the picture below I just selected the highlighted file and it opened itunes, THIS time with all my music and with all my music ratings and playlists, all still intact thank you so much!!!!

Please look in the Applications for the most up-to-date version of Numbers. I suspect you got a free upgrade to OS X Mavericks and also updated your iWorks apps. If that is correct you have two versions of number on the computer, you cannot open a new file with the older version of Numbers, this is what I am guessing you are attempting.

I always convert my .MOV videos to WMV so I can upload to my web site. However, with my new iPhone (iOS7), the vidoes are distorted due to aspect ratio issues. I'd like to set the output aspect ratio and.or file type when I create a new video on my iPhone 5s.

There is no user setting for this in the native iOS app. It is possible that if you use some other 3rd party app you can make some changes to that, but I'm not sure. There are also no settings for changing the file type on the phone itself.
I've not experienced any issues with distortion on mine, but it could be your converter. Have you tried another one?
