I just bought this speaker set .....But only one speaker is working ?
Is it my Sound card to old or ?

I've seen the support department has replied to other problems from users on this forum with solutions for their problems. Why not here?
because it's user to user only? than what choices do we have?
Best Buy won't take back the faulty speakers because it's past 30 days. Most retailers may accept up to 3 months, but this one doens't apparently.
any other suggestions?
maybe the administrators (who do monitor these forums obviously) could pass this on to the Support Department since this is not an isolated case.

Hi just wondering if anyone could make a recommendation on getting some new 2.1 or 2.0 speakers.. After my old Creative 4.1 have died I have been looking at the following models and my main use will be for Music and movies in my room. So they don?t have to be that loud..

I-Trigue L3800
I-Trigue 3330 or 4000
I heard the T20 and they sound good for a system with no Bass but seam a bit blocky. Next the I-Trigue 3330 also sounded good as long as you don?t crank the volume up too much. As for the I-Trigue L3800 I have read they are a 3 way speakers system and was wondering what people thought of them. Would I get a better sound out of them.

Subwoofer I-trigue 3330 broken

The speakers system do not require drivers to operate. You might want to make sure that the sound card/onboard audio device is installed properly.

Creative I Trigue 3330 Adapter problem!!!

hey guys am a kind of novie in the whole sound system game, i went to turn on my speakers this morning i smelt a burning sensation from the adapter, any help guys? would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance

I- trigue 3330 2.1

Hi Everybody,
After I moved into my new flat I installed my I-Trigue speaker system again but i cannot get any sound. Before disconection of all the computer/speaker cables, everything was working perfectly.
I can get sound with my headphones from the computer output (So sound card is ok) or from the headphone-output of I-Trigue. however, It does not work itself. Even I tried I-Trigue with my laptop I can not get any sound as well.
Do you have ay idea about the problem? Thanks for your helps.
PS: I dont know whether is relevant but I have a new monitor..

Hey! I've got the same problem with the same kind of speakers! When im listening to something volume is coming down and after a some time its coming back to its previous level! Coming back to its normal level can be forced by turning the speakers on and off! thats all i've discovered...
i also heard that some of creative speakers have kind of (f**k i dont know the word in english :P ) which works like that: when subwoofer is hot it automatially turns the volume lower to save your speakers from burning form hot :P or something like this :P
hmm... what i discovered that is no matter what i connect as source of music! effect of volume is the same
or maby you discovered the reason of this?

I-TRIGUE 3400 problems

Hello , i am spanish and i try to explain my problem in english... I have bought the I-TRIGUE 3400 speaker, but when i connect the I-TRIGUE to the pc, it doesnt detect it, and i cant listen nothing, do i have to download something? i need a cd? thank you for the answers

Your speakers will not require any type of drivers, software, or cd. You will need to verify that your soundcard in your computer is working and outputting sound properly. You can also test the speakers by plugging them into an alternati've audio source such as a portable CD player or portable radio.

I-Trigue 5600 problem help please !!!

i have had my I-trigue's and love em but recently i purchased an X-Fi card and after a few weeks my sound levels keep dipping and almost going silent the only way to get the sound up again is to touch the rounded style corded remote and i mean touch not turn the dial the sound then goes a bit mad going loud then silent then seems to level out or go quiet again.
Firstly does anyone know whats going on is it the remote thats not working or is it something to do with the X-Fi card.
If it is the remote do i have to send back the whole lot or can the remote be exchanged on its own or do i have to go back to where i bought them.

Thanks for your reply i have tesed the speakers and they all seem fine so as i guessed the remote is the problem.
The problem is now getting a replacement my wife bought these for my Birthday almost a year to this week and can she remember where she got them no lol
Can i go through Creative direct or can i even purchase one couldnt see anything in the uk spares section on the web site though i did see something from the states that could be used obviously id rather not pay.

I-TRIGUE L3500 Problem

Hi all I've had my L3500's for about 8-12 months and just recently the volume has been muting itself or turning itself down to a very low volume. It does it with and without headphones plugged in and also if I plug my speakers into another device. When it happens I have turn the speakers off and then back on again and about 8/10 it will fix it, but then at another random interval it will do it again. I don't know why its started happening because i've had the same setup for ages and it just happened over the weekend. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a solution to it's Any help is appreciated Ian

SB Audigy 2 NX on Windows 7, speakers + headphone problem

Hi All, I plugged my USB SB Audigy 2NX into a Windows 7 x64 laptop. I have 2.1 Stereo speakers plugged in to the SB 'FRONT' Jack. And sometimes plug a stereo headset into the 'SIDE /PHONES' jack.
This works fine on my XP system. And when I plugged in the headphones, the sound will just play on the headphones
THE PROBLEM IS, on the Win 7 laptop, when I plug the headphones into the Audigy 'SIDE /PHONES' jack, the sound still plays thru BOTH the speakers AND the headphones. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening?

Help please no sound

Hi all new to the site so hope you can help. I recently bought my daughter a second hand pc for browsing the internet its all set up fine but I have no sound at all its a compaq presario AMD athlon 64 3200 plus. No sound comes from the monitor or the headphone socket, and no sound from the speakers 2.1 creative i-trigue 3330. In the device manager it wont let me configure the audio its in grey. also there is an exclamation mark next to the creative x-fi. I tried to update this an it came up with code 10 error I tried to un install and re install no change I dont have the original disk any ideas.

Hi I have downloaded and installed new driver because of the code 10. Everything looks ok now nothing is on mute. I can select speakers everything as you should now but still no sound.
I am having to sort the problem via remote access because daughter lives 2 hours away, and before installing the new driver I couldn't hear any sound either from my computer, now the new driver is installed I can hear the sound that she should be hearing from her end.
Is there anything else I can try. Getting stressed now!

Problem with I-trigue 5600 . Please help!

My I-trigue 5600 worked perfectly for over 4 years. Buy recently, my rear right channel stoped working I 've tried everything : all satellites work poperly,drivers are ok, I tested it on 2 computers. There is still the same problem. Unfortunately Creative dosn't have after-guarantee service.. So, I tried to open subwoofer, but the inerity is too complicated with many areas flooded with glue or isolation. I tried also to buy another subwoofer / i believe it must have small damage , but the rest of speakers work great and the voice of subwoofer is good as well/ but there is problem with buying a subwoofer separately. Becouse there are only auctions on net.
So , what I supposed to do? Does Creative have separated spare parts to my subwoofer? Can I buy another subwoofer anywhere?
Can I replace my sub to similar from another speakers system and which one would be suitable.
I don't want to change my speakers. They are the best for me, but defect of one chanell is annoying. Really.
I wanted to buy x-fi elite pro ,but now it's pointless.

I-Trigue L3800 IR/Volume Problem

Hi there !!
Sorry for my bad english i am coming from germany.
I have Problems with my new I-Trigue L3800 Speaker System. If i turn on the system via IR the volume goes up to the maximum. If i try to choose up/down volume it goes automaticly up or down to the maximum (i only push the button just one time). It helps to turn off and on or 2 times..after this..it works fine. This happends after the system was off for a longer time (about night etc.). If the system is running..it works correctly.
The control panal stand near my LCD Samsung, maybe this cause this problem..

I have had my Creative Lab I-trigue 2.1 3300 speakers for a while now and recently they have just stopped working. Like a month ago for the first time they stopped working for a few days and then they finally started working again one day out of the blue. Within the last week they stopped working again. This time it's like they're completly thru. The volume control light still comes on, however no sound out of the speakers. I have checked all of my cpu settings a million times and unplugged the system and plugged it back in. Whenever I plug my headphones into the volume control you can hear sound.
I have also notice that several people with my exact speakers are having the same problem as me. I'm started to think that some of Creative products are defective.

I-Trigue Mysterious Subwoofer Problem?

Hi, I have a Creative I-Trigue and my subwoofer has become very crackly when I put the bass up. It can handle a very small amount, but gets progressively more crackly as I turn it up. I have taken off the fabric cover and looked at the rubber bass thing and it seems like this is where the problem lies, as the crackling reduces if I put my finger on it (although so does the bass so its not a solution), and it seems perfectly stuck on and well-sealed, and I can't see any tears or cuts on it. I have also taken out all the screws and tried to open up the main body to look further inside, but it seems pretty much impossible to take off as it is so tightly fitted, and all I can do is pull out the speaker a little bit from its hole - again, I can't see any problems with this component. Is anybody familiar with this model, or just the generics of subwoofers, and could maybe point me to the solution? Money is tight at the moment and I can't afford to have it fixed, so I was hoping there'd be a DIY way. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, whether they be for a way to open the whole thing up or to fix the problem. I'm not well-informed of how it all works, but from my perspectivei it just seems like it is vibrating too hard, possibly catching on something, though I can't see what? It used to work fine on this same laptop, so I don't think its a soundcard issue. Thanks in advance if you can help me, will do anything I can to return the favour...

I-Trigue 3400 static problem..

It's been only 4 months max since I've been using these speakers, and all of a sudden
starting yesterday, static sounds appeared.
I've tried plugging it out and waiting.. It was ok for a while.. but static returned.
It is NOT my computer, since when I use my head phones or another speaker, no static can be heard.
Also, if I turn the volume way- higher than my usual (almost to the max) the static disappears.
What is wrong with my speakers? It is in warrenty so there is no problem getting an exchange, but
I'd like to know if there's any way to fix it. If not, I'll get an exchange.

I got the crappy same Problem!
I plugged in my new Sennheiser HD590 (my 2nd Pair) into the Remote Control of the I-Trigue 3400. And i wondered of hearing these (static?) anoying tickling in the phones.
I thought it could may be my Sennheiser Headphones, but i wondered cause I got the I-Trigue 3400 since January and until yet it worked fine.
So I tried my old Sennheiser HD590 - same prob. I tried the Sennheiser MX500 (In-Ear-Phones) - same prob. I tried my Plantronics Audio .90 - same prob.
Then I plugged in the Headphones directly into my Audigy 2 ZS - no (static?) tickling sounds anymore. I tried and experimented until yet 3 days now - un-/installing drivers - unplugging etc. - nothing worked.
Please Support and tell me what is happening to my I-Trigue 3400 - I am using Creative Products for right over 8 Years now and i haven't got disappointed until yet. Go ahead!

Problem with I-Trigue 3400 (static)! Please help!

Alright, I bought my first set of I-Trigue 3400s about 2 weeks ago. Less than a few hours after using them, static started to come through the right speaker. This would happen intermittently for the next 2 days before I decided to exchange them. I was told it must of been a manufacturing defect and not to worry.
Well, I got a 2nd set of the I-Trigues to replace my first set. Everything has been swell for the past 2 weeks until last night. Last night and today I am once again getting static over my speakers. I tried fiddeling with the wires thinking it might be a loose connection and I also tried shutting off my computer and any nearby electronic devices. Unfortunately, none of my attempts have resolved the issue. This time the static is coming out of both speakers, although it is really bad and loud with the right speaker. I tried switching the left/right plugs around for the speakers, and this just made the louder static come out of the left speaker instead of the right one..
PLEASE HELP! My speakers haven't even lasted me two weeks!! And this is the 2nd set of 3400s I buy!!!!
btw, I've already sent for my rebate, so I don't think I can exchange my speakers for the THIRD time!
