I want to clarify the issue.
The issue is with the MBP trackpad, and it works fine with an attached USB mouse.
With some ingenuity, you might be able to fix this yourself, but I suggest visiting your local Apple Store/Genius Bar. Some have fixed this issue and have posted their results online, but the Apple Store should be your first destination.

I am using final cut express 4. It seems that any clip over a certain length, say 5 min, does not fully transfer! All shorter clips are perfectly fine. Is there some reason why longer clips are not fully transferred? (a half blue circle shows up on the transfer list, indicating that the clip was not fully transferred. When I check in the capture scratch folder, sure enough the whole clip is not there!
Is there some glitch in final cut express that only allows short clips to be transferred in full?

I did this and it was already unchecked. So this is not the answer...
The strange thing is, I have been logging and transferring with FCE for 2 yrs without any problems at all with shorter clips, but have come up against the problem with long clips (over 5 or so min) the whole time. I got around it by simply making sure I stopped recording after less than 5 min while shooting footage. OR if I accidentally got a long clip, I import into imovie and then import into FCE. Not very streamline and I worry about compressions altering quality!
I am now trying to import a 20 min and a 17 min clip and it only transfers around 3 minutes of each, I have re-tried several times and it happens repeatedly. The blue circle in the transfer list shows up as a half blue circle instead of full. Clip cuts off after 3 or so minutes.

Apple TV doesn't come with HDMI cable, so you would have had to buy the cable separately unless the Apple TV was bought used. Did you purchase the device from Apple or an authorized reseller?
Are you sure you're trying the right input?
The other is a smaller one that is for micro USB (which is used for support purposes only)

Even after syncing with iTunes, the usage amount on iTunes does not match what is on my iPhone. iPhone says I have less that 1G of storage left, while iTunes says I have 6G of storage. Why is this??

I can't tell how much storage I have left on my device. Even after syncing, iTunes shows that I have 6G of storage left. My phone says I only have 325MB of storage left. From your post I understand that even though you have imported and deleted all of the photos from your iPhone, it is still showing as if the photos were still located on the device. To start troubleshooting this issue I'd like you to please reset the iPhone. If the issue persists then please put the device into recovery mode, and then select the option to Update in iTunes. Choosing this option will reinstall iOS without erasing any of your personal data.
To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

You can't watch HBO using the Safari browser on the iPad at all. HBO has an app in the App Store called HBO GO. You must subscribe to HBO in order to use it

I am trying to set up Sharing amongst several computers on my home network. I have followed all the setup instructions but after completion Sharing does not appear in my iTunes window (on any of the computers I've set up). There is no explanation why.

I have been trying to set up Sharing between two computers on my network. I did this once and it worked. However, when I try to set this up now the Sharing feature does not appear on the left side of the iTunes window (on either computer). There is no explanation as to why not. Is this a configuration problem, a network problem or what? Can it be fixed? I have tried turning sharing off and back on on both computers but to no avail. What am I missing? Thanks for any help you can provide.

Thanks for the question, and welcome to Apple Support Communities.
If, while searching through your past purchases, items are unavailable to download and show a "Purchased" button, they are still on your computer. It may be best to search your iTunes library by clicking Music, then use the search bar at the top right.
If you are completely sure the items are no longer in your library, try signing out of the iTunes Store, and then back in.

This issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

OK friends. I was tired of running Norton antivirus and it slowing up my PC, so I installed McAfee and....guess what? Problem solved!! No more problems with the back button on new tabs. I'm glad it's fixed, but have no idea why and what the problem was other than something in Norton. Instant fix.

I am very frustrated with this Ipod. When I first got it everything was going well. Now all of sudden, it is no longer recognized by my itunes. I am unable to update my apps.
