I am very frustrated with this Ipod. When I first got it everything was going well. Now all of sudden, it is no longer recognized by my itunes. I am unable to update my apps. My Ipod sometimes will show up under devices and sometime not. It tells me to disconnect and reconnect the ipod and my results are the same. I have reset my ipod with no results of improving. It is frustrating to spend good money on something that doesn' t work properly. I have only had it for 2 months.

My iTunes account indicates I purchased a movie, but it does not show up in my library.

If I go to iTunes, open my video library, there is a blank banner for the movie in question. If I try to play it I'm told "The movie "The Place beyond the Pines" can not be used because the original file could not be found. Would you like to locate it?" I have searched the entire computer and the file does not exist, but my iTunes user account says it has been downloaded and will not give me the option to download it again. If I go to "get info" for the movie it tells me the location is file://localhost/C:/Users/xxxx/iTunes/iTunesMedia/Movies/The Place beyond the Pines(HD).m4v , but I can't find that location.

Sorry to hear the movie you purchased from iTunes is not playing.
I recommend deleting the video from iTunes and downloading "The Place Beyond the Pines" again from your list of purchases. You can find the steps to do this under the section titled "Apps, Books, Music, Movies, or TV shows on a computer" in the following article:

I have two seperate iPhones on my cellular carrier, but since I unwisely used the same AppleID for both phones iTunes, the two different users end us seeing each other's apps and directories of phone numbers (when each is sync'd through the cloud).

To move one of the phones to a different iCloud account (if that's what you want to do), go to Settings>iCloud and turn all synced data to Off. When prompted, choose to keep the data on your iPhone. After everything is off, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. This will delete the account from the phone but not from iCloud so the other phone will not be effected. Then set up a new iCloud account with a different Apple ID and turn iCloud syncing in Settings>iCloud back to On. When prompted, choose Merge. This will upload the data to the new iCloud account.
You will then have to go to icloud.com and sign into each iCloud account separately and delete any unwanted data that you don't want on the phone syncing with each account.

ITunes download using Firefox on Windows 7 64-bit does not work

I just got set up on a new Windows 7 machine (64-bit) at work. I was trying to download the iTunes exe file to my machine and was initially using Firefox as my browser. After multiple attempts to save the file were unsuccessful, I decided to try a different browser.
I popped over to Chrome and it downloaded with no problem. I thought I would share in case anyone else runs into the same issue.

This has worked for some of us but not all. Go to control panel and uninstall itunes and icloud, restart pc, go to apple site and download itunes and icloud. Good luck.

This problem started last year when ios 8 was released. I think apple is trying to force users to buy music on iTunes store and that's why it's impossible to sync other music and also that's the reason why they haven't solved this serious problem. Before I recently upgraded Fire Fox I used the recent history on the goggle search engine. It still comes up but when I click on something nothing happens. So now I am having to type my search in everytime. The fire fox tools have the most recent button but they don't come up all the time and when it does it doesn't go back very far!

I am wanting to download music to my Thunderbolt smart phone (i know, no iphone yet, next upgrade) and I want to use itunes to do it. By the way, and iTunes account is really the thing you use online to purchase music, not what you have on a computer. You have user accounts on a computer, and you have iTunes libraries or collections of media. You can have multiple user accounts on a computer. You can have a single or multiple user accounts use a single or multiple libraries. We need to know exactly what it is you have/want.

Keep in mind that with the iPhone, you can sync all iTunes content with only one computer. Trying to sync iTunes content with a second computer will result in iTunes erasing the content from the first computer. However, non-itunes content such as contacts, calendars, mail settings, notes, etc. (anything in the Info pane) can be synced from another computer.

This may sound crazy, but download any free app. This often "shocks" the other apps into working.

When you go to Starbucks, you'll need to first go to Settings on your iPad and choose Network. You'll see ATTWIFI as one of the available networks. When you click on that to select it, you should be immediately sent to AT&T's sign in page. You just need to check the box that says you agree to their terms and conditions and then hit the Connect button and you'll be online. One warning, however. The primary email addresses on iTunes accounts have to be unique, you shouldn't be able to create a new iTunes account with the same primary email address unless the existing account had been deleted (only iTunes Support can potentially delete an iTunes account).
Had you asked iTunes Support to delete your existing account ? If you did then that would also have deleted its purchase history. Or had you changed the primary email address on the old account ?
