I use the new (old) iPad 64 G Cellular. It hangs several times and I have to hard reboot it many times to bring it to normal. I wasted my time so much doing hard reboot. It occurs when available storage is about 1 GB. Someone help me coz I did tell them once but no any contact after that. So useless. Thank you anyways.

Hi if not now,
In order to see your device in iTunes you may just need to select the option to have the Sidebar shown, something that by default is not displayed. This is where Devices and other items are displayed that you may be trying to locate.
iTunes 11: Frequently used features
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5649
Show Status Bar - Choose View > Show Status Bar (this feature will conveniently display the number of items and playback time for a category, for example, music or movies).
I hope this helps!
