DVD Player is a default Apple app installed with the system. If not there, you deleted it. As a principle, to not delete Apple applications, which come with the system. i think you may copy it from another system, even if this is not the recommend method. A workaround is to download VLC, a free and good app for video and audio files, it may play any file, in fact.

Thanks for replying Larry. Takes a while, but I can see them in Bridge. I have to say that I'm not happy with this though. If I'm working with 10 or 20 or 30 ai files on my desktop, I really want to be able to see them easy as pie. Everything seemed fine in Adobe CC 2014.... but not since this 18.1.1 Sure hope this is just a bug that will soon be fixed! (And if it is a bug, how do I report it and/or get it fixed)? Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions?

Stops working when using it with wifi antenna adapter. Good with 3.6 but now that I have 5 I can't find how to change back.

I live on a boat so I use a wifi antenna adapter to get internet. I used mozilla 3.6 until 5 came out and I updated. After that my internet stops more so I called the manufacturer and he said it doesn't work well with Mozilla 5 and I should change back to 3.6. Its not that it stops so much as when it does stop, I need to access the program that can change the source of the internet connection and with 5.0, it won't open the program so I can't use it. I tried to download 3.6 again and can't find it to download. Now I have to use internet explorer which I don't like.

In order to install your Photoshop CC you will have to install Creative Cloud app.
To install it please visit below given link and login with your ID:
www.creative.adobe.com
Once logged in on top left corner you will have an option 'Download Center', please click on that and Download an app named Creative Cloud.
Once its downloaded please install it and open it, once it is opened please go to 'Apps' tab and then you will see all the software's to install.
Please look for Photoshop CC and click on Install infront of it and it will install it.
Once installed please open it and use it.

After more attemps at cropping Im noticing that the saved version is unzoomed, so if I move the zoom bar just a tad the image becomes instantly sharp. I got my phone a couple of years ago and when it came in the mail, I wasn't home so my brother decided to set up my iPhone for me because he was so desperate to check the phone out. My iCloud account has been his account and it's been set up under his e-mail since the day I got my phone. Once he bought an iPhone, he set it up under the same e-mail account and now we share it. It's so annoying because all of my pictures and stuff are stored in my iCloud, but that's under his e-mail and I really want a new iCloud account but I want to transfer all of my iCloud information and pictures to my e-mail without losing them. Randomly, my brother has been receiving some of my facetime calls and I even turned it off so that it is only set on my device. I didn't even know he received any of my facetime calls until the other day when my friend told me. Now, our contacts are shared and I don't want that either. At one point during the summer, he was receiving my text messages as well. I turned all of those off under settings so they wouldn't be shared on his device, but I need to find a way to carry my iCloud stuff and set it up in a my own completely separate account. Please, please help me. I really am getting so frustrated with it and neither of us want to delete our accounts because we don't want to lose our iCloud stuff.

My thought is to check the current IP of the server, as your smb.conf has the line interfaces = 192.168.1.109 which means samba will only listen on that interface for requests. If the IP of the server has changed, that would explain why samba isn't working.

Options for when an iOS device gets locked because of forgotten passcode:

Some gestures have been removed in Firefox 4 and later.
You can restore the zoom feature by changing the values of the related prefs on the about:config page.

To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.
Use the Filter bar at to top of the about:config page to locate a preference more easily.
Preferences that have been modified show as bold(user set).
Preferences can be reset to the default or changed via the right-click context menu.

I think the easiest way to do this is to have the EyeTV app running in one user account and sent via HDMI to the TV, and use a separate user account for Screen Sharing. Both logins can be active at the same time and with Lion you can connect via screen sharing to which ever login you need.
With regards to the Mac video resolution changing, when it is not the current input on your AV receiver. This is 'normal', if the Mac sees no signal it drops down the a lower level. What you need is to buy a HDMI Detective Plus which tricks the Mac in to always seeing a signal and hence it will not drop down the resolution. See http://www.gefen.com/kvm/dproduct.jsp?prod_id=8005
The Mac mini does have an IR receiver. This can be used with the EyeTV app, iTunes, and similar. Yes I believe EyeTV would run for prolonged periods quite happily, it is has been around for a long time and had most of the rough edges polished off. However one issue you will have to deal with is that it does not automatically update its program guide data. For this you might have to write or modify an AppleScript. Elgato support or their user forums will be a lot of help.
You can set EyeTV to convert recordings to an iTunes (Apple TV) compatible format and then delete them from EyeTV.
The HDMI Detective should solve your handshaking problems.

Have you tried a different browser such as Firefox? Can you post the url so that we can see if we can open the site?

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app

    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button
