Software? See if you can get it removed with some anti-malware tools. Spybot, AVG, Kapersky, et cetera...
If you know the name of the program, you could search the registry for any instance of that name and --be CAREFUL--delete them.
And I have to ask: Did you go back to Firefox after uninstalling this program and reset the "when I open a new tab..." setting? What about your home page?

Seeded Search Page ( PO History ) Addding new Criteria columns

I have a requirement wherein i need to customize PO History Search Page to add 2 new columns Supplier Name and Supplier Site as criteria. I was able to extend the Results VO but how do i proceed with adding new columns in the criteria region. Please provide me the steps.
also, somewhere i read in this forum if the construction mode for the query region is autocuztomization criteria then we cannot customize the seeded page. please do provide me an alternative

I am doing the following steps to run the seeded page PosRevisionHistoryPG ( Under Purchasing :-
1) copied entire pos folder ( $java_top/oracle/apps/pos ) under java_top to my local machine.
So my local machine has the foll directory structure
jdev_home/myclasses/oracle/pos and jdev_home/myprojects/oracle/pos
2) added jdev_home/myclasses/oracle/pos to my classpath.
3) Created a new empty OA Project. ( name - rkposchng.jpr , default package - > rkposchng.oracle.apps.pos )
4) Created a new empty Business Component Package under rkposchng.oracle.apps.pos
5) Imported the server.xml to my project from jdevphome/myprojects/oracle/apps/pos/changeorder/server.xml
6) Imported PosRevisionHistoryPG.xml ( seeded) to my project. This file was not there under java_top. I had all PG , RN ( xml files) file
from $POS_TOP/mds/changeorder/webui and copied under jdev_home/myprojects/oracle/pos and jdev_home/myprojects/oracle/pos/changeorder/webui
7) Ran the page from jdeveloper and its not returning any rows. On running i received 71 warnings and 0 errors.
From the above you can see that i am not changing anything but still no rows are returned.
Do i need to import any more files in step 5. I am not getting any clue what is the problem.

I have just updated to 7.0.1 and suddenly my search results won't open in a new tab

I have just updated to 7.0.1 and suddenly my search results won't open in a new tab (let alone a new window - something I much preferred in the past) although this option is checked.
I even installed Tab Utilities Light Options - all of it's options work, but not for Search Bar.
When I choose one of the search results and want to view several items on that site (let's say a page with some 50 photo's), there seems to be no longer a way to return to the original search result. I have to start from scratch.
I hope this can be 'mended' because this is utterly annoying.

Although 6 other people seem to have encountered this problem, nobody has offered a solution yet. Perhaps the following will put some Firefox gurus on the right trail.
When I said "my search results", I meant the results obtained with Google (standard when installing Firefox). Now I have tried another search engine (Dogpile) and there The tabs do work. Very strange, isn't it ?

You can have infinite tabs opening if you have selected Firefox as the application to handle a file if you get an ''Open with'' download window.
Firefox should not be selected as the application to handle a file and you have to remove the action that is associated with that file type.

I got 2 new IPhones 5s and the wife couldn’t decide what she wanted so she stayed with old phone but this locked me into a new 2 yr contract . Within a wk one of the new iPhones started turning on and of like 10 –15 times a day. Wk 2 it turned off and would not turn on again . It was my sons who was in college at the time so we talked and he took it in to a Verizon store where he was told I need to come in since the account was in my name. He was away from home , Verizon could see on account it was his phone they said it was not abused, they could not even turn it on , they sold me the phone give him another phone maybe even a loaner till he gets another. So now I need to go to store and explain to 3 different people this is my phone and my son has it and I need a new one. what a waste of time after about 2 hrs and talking to different people and yes they said there were notes on his account from other person he had talked to from different store. So I finally walk out with a receipt in hand and being told I would have a new phone in a couple days. As I sat in my vehicle thinking this is stupid I looked at my receipt and noticed it said droid on it so back into Verizon I went. The salesman said that’s what your son has on his account. My son had activated a friends old phone so he has one since VERIZON REFUSED to give him one. Another hr 3 people and yes they can see he had a new iPhone and notes on it from other store. Sometimes sorry just doesn't do it. I was now late for a appointment . Now I walk out and have been told I will get a new iPhone in the mail in about 2 wk Yes 2 wks again I bought it there just give me a new one and you send old one back. I will also get a new droid that I have to send back because they said they cant cancel it . In about 3 days I get the Droid and sent it back Verizon mistake and a waste of my time . After waiting over 2 wks and not receiving a new iPhone back to Verizon I went . I am now bitter at Verizon after doing 20 yrs of business with them. 3 people 1 hr later I was told it got delivered to my post office . I got the tracking num called the post office and they say o yes that was the droid. Go back in to Verizon another hr of explaining I walk out being told I will get a new iPhone in a couple of days, We’ll see . Once again I got the phone in your store just give me a new one . Do you realize how much of my time you have wasted ? do you care? O what is Your Policy ? How many Billion did you make last year ? I am Locked into a new 2 yr contract . Are you manually managing your songs?
In itunes - music do you see checkmarks next to your musis/songs. IF so go find your new songs click on it and then sync your music again.

I had this problem once before, And now again.
The only thing I did different, was Instead of shutting down my computer, I click on Log off User.
Ever since then I have noticed windows XP is taking longer to load, and so is Firefox.

I recently installed Adobe Flash Player 11 ActiveX--11.4.402.265 and when I open My Mozilla Firefox browser I keep getting this message flashing on my screen: '

This flashes a few times then usually stops but not always.
It happens every time I try to open a new page.
I fixed this problem by uninstalling Adobe Flash Player 11 and installing Adobe Flash Player 10.3. However, now my IE browser wants me to install Adobe Flash Player 11 again. Although I don't use my IE browser frequently, I DO have to use it sometimes. Will there be an update to Firefox 15.0 to correct this issue?

but after firefox opened, when i open one new tab page, the quick-luncher page is opened.

Such JavaScript links should show the image in the same tab, so make sure that you left click such links.
