I want recover in ABAP program a "Long Text"
Hi,
In FB01 transaction when you go to "Enter Fixed Asset posting: Correct G/L account item", there are a button with a label: "Long Text". When you push this button appear a little window with name "Long Text for Document Line Item" and you can write a long note for a document. I want to recover this long note in a ABAP program. I want know where SAP keeps this texts and how I can recover it.
A lot of thanks in advance.
Regards.
Now, my code is:
report zutil060.
data: l_thead like thead.
data: it_text like tline occurs 0 with header line.
call function 'ZREAD_TEXT'
exporting
id = '0001'
language = sy-langu
name = 'EV1000000811282006001'
object = 'DOC_ITEM'
tables
lines = it_text.
l_thead-tdobject = 'DOC_ITEM'.
l_thead-tdspras = 'ES'.
l_thead-tdid = '0001'.
l_thead-tdname = 'EV1000000811282006001'.
refresh it_text.
clear it_text.
it_text-tdline = 'Hola caracola'.
it_text-TDFORMAT = '*'.
append it_text.
call function 'SAVE_TEXT'
exporting
client = sy-mandt
header = l_thead
insert = 'X'
savemode_direct = 'X'
tables
lines = it_text
exceptions
id = 1
language = 2
name = 3
object = 4
others = 5.
if sy-subrc <> 0.
write:/ sy-subrc.
endif.
If i comment "insert = 'X'" sy-subrc is 0 but text note dont change.
My finally mission is to makes an interface (ABAP program) and this program should pick up the long notes from another system and to create new ABAP notes.
Now i only need to know how i can insert or change a new long note.
a lot of thanks for your time.
regards.

Edited by: Thomas Zloch on May 17, 2011 11:44 AMThe lines on the DIO port respond to trhe MOMO (Must On, Must Off) protocol which is a tri state protocol. This allows each line on the DIO ports to be used individually. The lines, however, are by default static DIO which means that if you want to create a pulse train in them you must do it through a software routine where you change the states every time the set dio port momo call is executed. Another option is to use the PWM ouptut lines available on this port. You can use the lines specified as PWM outputs (check the 7344 hardware manual for this) so that in MAX you can generate a continous pulse train and then you can use NI-Motion's PWM fucntions to control the frequency and duty cycle of the train.

How can user attach file to interactive form, and be read by abap program?
Hello,
I created an abap interactive form, sent to the user, then user fills out the form fields, then it is uploaded back to sap, then my program reads this data and process it.
It works.
Now I want users to be able to attach any file they want, and the abap program to extract this file out of the PDF, to put it into SAP (or anywhere).
I succeeded in attaching a file, I can "see" it via function module get_annotations, but I get the file in compressed form by Adobe (filter="FlateDecode").
Do you know how to unzip the file, or is there another way to attach files in adobe reader/extract them via abap?
I use acrobat reader 8.1.2
Thx a lot!
sandra
Below is the xml obtained by GET_ANNOTATIONS. We see that there are other text annotations, and that the attached file has {length="98005"}, though real file (before "attach file" to the PDF, and also after "detach file") has length 111 995 bytes. It's why I deduced that there is a compression (I also tried to extract it as-is and open it with adobe but it doesn't work.

</xfdf>Hello everybody,
I am sure you have an answer to my question above. It was :
how is it possible for a user to ATTACH files to a PDF interactive form, and then be able to READ them via a program ? (I guess the solution to read them via ABAP or JAVA is quite the same?)
Thx a lot !

Hello Experts,
As per my business requirements we Implemented 30 DSO (EDW Layer) for x Reason with the reference from Y Reason DSOs. and for x reson dso we created transformations and dtp. through process chains we loaded the data to X Reason Dsos. after loading i want to comare these two dso records through ABAP Progrm.
here my source is : X Region Dsos
here Trget is : Y Region Dsos
these two are the mandatory fields
and the optional fields are:
1. Sales org
2. Sales division
3. document creation date.
for this type of requirement i want to implement ABAP Program.i want to abap code for this type of requirement. anyone have abap code for similar type of requirement please send the abap code.
Thanks & Regards,Hi saurabh,
If your requirement if to comepare both the values based on the sales org, sales div, data, u can build a report or if you want to look up the both the DSO and want to perform any operation we need to write routine at transforamation level.

Download/Upload ABAP Programs, screens, texts, etc
Hi Experts,
Is there any standard program or any tool by which we can download/ upload ABAP programs, sapscripts, Screens, text-elements, Webdynpro for ABAP applications to a local file????
The Download to local server option in SE38 just gives a text copy of program without any screens, text eleemnts, etc which is not as per my requirement.
Points will be rewarded.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION & USE
Allows a user to download programs, Functions, DD definitions, etc to the presentation server. This version searches
recursively for nested includes and function modules, and allows you to download the resulting code as standard text
or HTML web pages within a suitable directory structure.
You can either search by object name, using wildcards if you wish, or a combination of Author and object name. If
you want all objects returned for a particular author then select the author name and choose the most suitable
radiobutton. All objects will be returned if the fields to the right hand side of the radiobutton are left completely
blank.
Compatible with R/3 Enterprise only, for older versions of SAP you will need Direct Download version 5.xx.
This version removes the programming limitations imposed by developing across SAP releases 3 to 4.6.
In order to be able to download files to the SAP server you must first set up a logical filepath within transaction
'FILE', or use an existing one. You must also create a external operating system command in SM69 called ZMKDIR. This
will then be used to create any directories needed on the SAP server
This program is intended to allow a person to keep a visual representation of a program for backup purposes only as
has not been designed to allow programs to be uploaded to SAP systems.

Insert Nodes into Hierarchy via ABAP Program
Hello,
I want to create ABAP program to insert nodes into a hierarchy.
I got a class CL_RSSH_HIERMAINTAIN_FRONT with method INSERT_NODES_HIERARCHY .
But the method is private and cannot be used in the ABAP call.
I also don't want a pop up which asks for the action on duplicate nodes.
Can anyone guide me a bit here ?
Any help would be appreciated.

Update Long Text of Production Order
Hi ABAP Gurus,
We want to update some information in long text automatically while releasing production order.
We try PPCO0007
We found that we must update AUFK-LTEXT as 'E' then we can see long text via CO02, CO03.
Without updating AUFK-LTEXT, even if the long text value saved in SXTL, but it can not be displayed via CO02, CO03.
After saving the text using 'SAVE_TEXT' function module and commiting it we update the 'ltext' field in AUFK table.
SELECT SINGLE * INTO wa_aufk FROM aufk WHERE aufnr EQ '000012345678'.
wa_aufk-ltext = 'D'.
MODIFY aufk FROM wa_aufk.
However, it only works when we go to CO02 and press 'Save' button without changing anything.
If we press 'release' button, AUFK-LTEXT will be overwritten by system. >_<
What we expect system to do is that when we release production order, AUFK-LTEXT can be changed to 'E', so that we can display long text via CO02, CO03.
Please help.
Cheers,
QiangThere is no standard SAP enhancement we can use for this purpose.
We have developed another program to maintian the long text in production order.
This call can be closed.
Cheers,

Recovery of Long Texts with LSMW in CRM
Hi all,
<b>How can I recovered long texts in LSMW, texts with more than 132 characters and with a lot of lines ?</b>
I have to recovered Business Partners in CRM with technical IDOC (mesage type CRM_XIF_PARTNER_SAVE), and when the texts are recovered (structure E101BUS_EI_LONGTEXT), I have only one line (the first or the last).
Thanks for help.Hi,
Yes, I know that I can make a specific program to load the long texts with the function "SAVE_TEXT", but I want to know how to load long texts into LSMW. For example, I have the same problems when I used the standard program /SAPDMC/SAP_LSMW_IMPORT_TEXTS : it will only load one line with 132 characters. So, WHY ? and how to load more than one line ?
Thanks -

Hello Experts,
In Service PO ,
In Item Details , Service Tab there are two text columns, Service Text and Line text.
I want to increase the lenghth of that column so that i can mainatin the servcie details in that tab.
Also i wanted to print the details on Printout also.
If it is not possible , is there any other field where i can manatian the item details for services.
Regards,
SHDear Brijesh,
Similar to Shreya, but if I want to set the "Service Long Text" to "display only" when using ME21N/ME22N, is it possible to do so?
I want this because I want user to maintain the service long text from Service Master and when this text copied from service master to service PO, this text must be in display only. If user want to add text, they should maintain the "Service Line Long Text".
Is it possible to do that?
Regards,
